The sun was rising over the horizon. It was a very warm morning.
The lookout was just coming alive.
The pups were beginning to wake up.
Chase opened his eyes. He felt something in his paws.
"Uh. Why do I have Marshall's teddy bear?" he asked himself.
"And...WHY am I in Marshall's pup house?"
Chase looked down to see white and black fur.
Gasping he rushed to a mirror.
He groaned. "I'm in MARSHALL'S BODY!?" he thought.
"How did this...?" He didn't finish his thought.
He walked to the door and exited.
He noticed the pups were out.
"Ok. Is this a joke?" Marshall asked.
Chase stared at Marshall in his own body.
"You're in MY body?" Chase said.
Before Marshall could answer they heard a shrill scream.
"It came from Skyes puphouse." Chase announced.
Everyone rushed to Skye's pup house.
Chase entered first.
"Skye are you ok?" Chase asked.
"Look at me!" Kat shrieked.
"Oh good lord! Skye said.
Upon seeing Rocky Kat growled.
"If this is one of your experiments Rocky, so help me..." Kat trailed off. "Who's in my body?"
"I am." Everest said.
"What" Kat asked. "I can't hear..." he froze.
Kat lifted up his ear and felt it nothing. He felt the cockapoo cheek.
Her ear was there. He frowned.
"Really. What are you?" he asked Skye.
"A dog." Skye said matter of factly.
"A dog. With her EAR on the side of her HEAD like a human." Kat shot back.
"What are these things?" Kat said.
No one answered.
Everyone got into their day clothes.
Kat was embarrassed.
"We have to act like there's nothing wrong. At least Ryder is visiting family." Rubble said.
"Good luck with that." Kat said, walking up and joining the group. He was blushing like mad.
"Chase is afraid of getting run over. Zuma cant speak right while Rocky cant handle a drop of water. Not to mention that Skye flips which I now have to do. Marshall sleeps with a toy and he's afraid of heights. Rubble and Everest overeat all the time to the point where they look like a beach ball with legs and a head." Kat said.
"No offense taken Kat." Everest said sarcastically.
"One more thing. We also have to call each other by different names until this wears off. If it ever does." Marshall said.
The pups hear muffled laughter and turned to see Zuma try to cover up his laugh.
"Oh so you think this is FUNNY huh?" Kat growled. "Has it ever occurred to you that...IM A GIRL!"
But Zuma laughed harder.
