Every Vault was created to house humanity in light of a nuclear exchange, and those vault doors were meant to only open once the radiation became tolerable. Vault 120 was specifically built to grant the US a fighting chance in reestablishing order in a new foreign world. Is that possible though; when the new world seems to have gone mad? Loose Crossover... maybe.

1. Opening Monologue

Of course the world ends; to be honest I'm not all that surprised.

After the end of World War 2, when the US dropped nuclear bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki; the used the miracle of atomic energy not as a weapon, but a source of near limitless energy.

In the years that followed, humanity prospered; lounging in decadence and excess.

We were pulled from that blissful dream.

After years of consumption, we had depleted nearly every major resource.

The entire world unraveled, with peace becoming a memory.

It is now the year 2077, and humanity stands at the brink of total war and potential annihilation.

Vault Tec has ensured us a way to make certain that doesn't come to pass.

With the construction of the Vaults, the best and the brightest of humanity will be given a chance to live their lives safe and untouched by the nuclear Armageddon soon to come.

I myself, wasn't chosen for such a life.

I was chosen to reside within a Vault, but instead of living my life, I'll be sleeping.

How long I'm not certain, all I know is that when I awaken, the world will have changed. And I'll have to help reclaim what was lost.
