Want something a little more light-hearted from me? Well, here you go.

It was a beautiful night in Transylvania. It was the perfect time to go out and have some serious fun.

That's exactly what one werewolf was planning on doing. Winnie had already completed the first part of her night, howling at the moon with her brothers.

As she was walking back into the hotel, she noticed a mushroom that was growing from the side of the hotel. It was at that point that she realized that she hadn't eaten anything since breakfast, so she was pretty hungry. Without hesitation, she picked up the mushroom and ate it. It tasted really odd to her, but as long as something was in her stomach, it was fine. What could go wrong with eating a strange mushroom?

A half-hour had passed since then, and Dennis and Winnie were playing a game of tag. Dennis was it, so he had to find Winnie and tag her. Which he did.

"Tag! You're it!" Dennis giggled excitedly as he flew away from the wolfgirl. His giggling had stopped when he realized that Winnie wasn't running after him.

"Winnie?" Dennis flew back to where he had tagged Winnie. What he saw worried him.

Winnie was sitting up against a wall, holding her stomach and whimpering. He even saw tears in her eyes.

"Dennis," Winnie said in a weak voice. "I don't feel so good." Dennis gasped and picked up his friend.

"I'll take you to Papa Drac!" Dennis exclaimed as he slowly flew his friend around the hotel to find his grandfather.

Meanwhile, Dracula was showing off some new shoes to his friends.

"Dang Drac!" Exclaimed Murray. "You're killing it in those kicks!" Dracula had a smug look on his face.

"Those must've cost a premium!" Exclaimed Johnny.

"No kidding," said Dracula. "I need to make sure nothing happens to these shoes!"

"Papa Drac, Papa Drac!" Dennis exclaimed as he flew Winnie to him and sat her down. "Something's wrong with Winnie!" Dracula gasped and looked down at the wolfgirl. This was not the hyper and happy wolfpup he knew and loved. It looked like her fur and nose were changing color.

"Winnie! Oh my goodness, you look horrible!" Exclaimed Dracula.

"I feel horrible," said Winnie. "It feels like a total war in my tummy."

"So you're having some pretty bad tummy troubles, huh?" Asked Dracula. Winnie nodded. "Do you remember what you ate?"

"The last thing I ate was a mushroom," responded Winnie. "It was growing from the side of the hotel." Dracula gasped.

"Winnie, what have I told you about eating random things you don't know about?!" Dracula exclaimed.

"I was hungry," Winnie responded in a shaky voice. She sounded like she was about to cry, not because Dracula yelled at her, but because her stomach was hurting badly.

"Don't you worry, little one," Dracula told her as he patted her head. "I'll take you to the doctor and they'll fix you up good!" Winnie smiled a bit.

"Thanks, Uncle Dra-" Winnie was unable to finish her sentence as the sickness inside her stomach erupted like a volcano. It went out of her mouth, and onto Dracula's expensive new shoes.

Everyone stood in silence. Dracula looked like he wanted to cry. Winnie blushed, completely embarrassed over what she did.

"Sorry, Uncle Drac…."

"Winnie's going to be just fine," the doctor said. "She just needs to lay in bed and drink a special medicine that a witch is currently making." Winnie moaned as she laid in her bed, rubbing her stomach. Besides her and the doctor, Mavis, Dennis, Vivien, and Willie are in there as well.

"Ugh, does it have to be Vivien?" Winnie whined. Vivien huffed. "Her medicines taste terrible!"

"You should be thanking me rather than being a big baby," said Vivien. Winnie crossed her arms and huffed. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll be waiting for Wallace, Wally, and Wilbur to come back here the ingredients." Vivien walked out of the room.

Willie, one of the younger pups, looked worried.

"Is Winnie going to be okay, Aunt Mavis?" Asked Willie as he whimpered a bit.

"She'll be just fine, Willie," said Mavis. "She just needs to stay in bed." Winnie started whimpering.

"Bu- but this was supposed to be me and Dennis's night of fun," Winnie cried. "We were supposed to go to the movies. Now he'll have to go without me."

"Actually, I'm not going," said Dennis. Winnie gasped.

"But, you really wanted to see that movie with that fast, blue hedgehog," said Winnie.

"Yeah, but I wanted to watch it with you," said Dennis. "We can reschedule it for next Saturday." Winnie smiled.

"You're so nice, Zing-zing," said Winnie. "I'm sorry I ruined our night."

"You didn't ruin our night," said Dennis. "We can still have fun here!"

"Really, how?" Asked Winnie.

"We can watch movies, play board games, and maybe have a tea party!" Dennis exclaimed. Winnie's smile grew wider and wider.

"Dennis, if I could get out of this bed, I'd kiss you over and over again!" She exclaimed. Dennis blushed and chuckled nervously. Mavis giggled.

"Okay, Dennis and Willie, let's leave Winnie alone so she can rest," said Mavis. Winnie whimpered again.

"I don't want to be alone," said Winnie. "Can Dennis stay? Please?"

"Yeah, can I stay, mom?!" Asked Dennis. "She needs company!" Mavis thought about it for a moment.

"Okay, you can stay," Mavis responded. "Until Vivien gets done with her medicine. That'll take a few hours."

"Yay! Thanks, mom!" Exclaimed Dennis as he hugged Mavis.

"What about me?" Asked Willie. "I want to keep Winnie company too."

"You should keep Sunny company, little bro," said Winnie. "Let her play with her favorite brother." Willie's ears folded down a bit. "We'll play once I'm better, I promise."

"Okay, sis," said Willie. Mavis picked up Willie.

"Your parents should be here soon, Winnie," Mavis told her. Winnie nodded. Mavis had walked out of the room with Willie, leaving Dennis and Winnie by themselves.

"So, what should we do first?" Asked Winnie.

"Let's watch a movie!" Responded Dennis.

"What should we watch?" Asked Winnie as she picked up her tablet that was laying next to her.

"Whatever you want," Responded Dennis.

"What? Really?" Asked Winnie."You sure about that?"

"Yeah, I'm sure," responded Dennis. "I want you to be happy!" Winnie smiled again.

"Aw, I'm so glad I have a friend like you, Dennis!" Exclaimed Winnie as she sat patted down a spot by her. "Sit next to me, my zing!" Dennis got on the bed and sat next to Winnie. He wanted to make sure he doesn't move around too much so he doesn't upset his friend's stomach.

Winnie turned on her tablet and went through a selection of movies she had in her digital library. When she found the one she wanted to watch, she hit play and the movie began.

At first, Dennis didn't seem to like the movie, but as it went on, he grew to love it. He didn't think that he'd enjoy a movie that's aimed at girls, but here he is.

"Wow," said Dennis, "That was pretty good!"

"Yeah, it's one of my favorite movies!" Said Winnie. " Thanks for watching it with me."

"No problem!" Said, Dennis. "So, how do you feel?"

"A little better," responded Winnie. "My tummy still hurts a bit, but I'm not as sick as I was before."

"I think it's because you got it out of your system already," said Dennis.

"Yeah, and onto Uncle Dracula's new shoes," said Winnie. "I thought he was going to cry."

"I think he is," said Dennis.

"I hope he's not mad at me," said Winnie. "I ruined his expensive new shoes. Just like I ruined our fun night."

"We are having a fun night," said Dennis. "We're together, and that's all that matters!" Winnie was really touched by Dennis's kind words. She used all the strength she had to lift herself up and give Dennis a small kiss on the cheek. The half-vampire blushed.

"Thanks for sticking with me, Dennis," said Winnie.

"You stuck by my side," said Dennis. "Now I'm sticking by your side!" Winnie gave Dennis a light hug, Dennis hugged back.

"So, what should we do now?" Asked Winnie.

"Let's play some board games!" Responded Dennis.

"Sounds fun!" Said Winnie. Dennis picked out a fun board game for them to play.

They played the same game for hours, Dennis won a few times, but Winnie won most of the time.

Eventually, the fun time had ended as Vivien came in holding a cup.

"Alright, Winnie, time to give you your medicine," said Vivien. "Once you drink this cup, you'll be back to your old self again." Winnie grabbed the cup. The medicine didn't smell good at all, she was hesitant to drink it.

"Come on, Winnie," said Dennis. "It'll make you feel better." Winnie sighed and drank the medicine as fast as she could. She gagged a bit.

"UGH! This tasted horrible!" Winnie exclaimed. "It tasted like every disgusting thing on the planet. Even worse than that mushroom!"

"Guess that means it works," said Vivien. "Give it an hour to settle in, and you'll be back to normal."

"I'm surprised that didn't kill me," said Winnie.

"You're such a baby, Winnie," said Vivien.

After an hour passed, Winnie felt her strength and energy coming back, she felt like she was becoming herself again.

"Winnie, how do you feel?" Asked Dennis.

"Fantastic!" Exclaimed Winnie as she hopped off the bed. "Vivien's disgusted medicine worked!"

"That's great!" Exclaimed Dennis. "I'm so glad you feel better!"

"Me too, Zing-zing!" Winnie exclaimed as she hugged Dennis tightly. He could tell her strength had come back. "Thanks for staying with me!"

"No problem!" Dennis exclaimed as he hugged Winnie back. "What are friends for?" The two broke away from the hug and Winnie began running out the room.

"Come on, Dennis, let's go find Willie," Winnie exclaimed as she ran out the room. Dennis turned into a bat and flew after her.

Despite the change in plan, Dennis and Winnie had a fun night. They'll remember this for a long time.

Meanwhile, Dracula tried to get Winnie's sickness off his shoes. Nothing he did was working. Ericka showed no sympathy.

"I told you to get rid of those mushrooms," she told him with a smug look on her face.
