Chapter 1.
Sonic pov
The soft ruffle of the trees filled my ear as if it were angels singing the cool crisp autumn air bit at my skin. It's been at least a year since I joined the RPD (racoon city police department). And I've been sent on a mission to investigate an odd mansion on the hillside near the edge of the forest. Weird rumors have been going around like "I've heard that a murderer lives there" said a lady in the questioning room. "Sonic you good?" officer miles prower was sent on the mission with me "you've been quiet since we landed" me and tails have been friends for a long time since we were like 6 years old. He was a sleek small yellow fox with two tails. "yeah I'm fine it's just that we've been studying this mansion for years and there's been no activity and now after the chemical plant zone failure there now action it's just fishy you know?"
*flashback*
*The loud beep of alarm filled the building* "DR. Ivo robotnik what's going on" DR robotnik click multiple keys before responding "nova 17 is going out of control I can't seem to calm it anytime now if I don't stop it the virus will spread at intense levels'' sweat rolled down dr. robotnik's forehead.
*flashback end*
Sorry for the short chapter but I will keep this story updated and I will try to add at least two paragraphs each chapter so stay tuned ( ;
Chapter 2: grief.
Mile's pov
They moved swiftly and quietly through the trees the closer they got to the mansion the foliage and trees got thicker "how much further" tails asked sonic pulled out a map "just about 5 miles north" they walk in silence until they reached the mansion. Tails tried the door but it wouldn't budge "damn it, give me a hand will ya" sonic move over to him and help push down the door "good job now let's investigate anything that you find useful put it in a bag and bring it with you "all right just yell if you need help" tails looked around old peeling wallpaper molded carpet "man it smells like crap in here" sonic said to tails. Tails went upstairs to investigate more there were three rooms and a weird door with boards covering it. "looks like i need a crowbar" tails looked around for a bit before giving up he went into a room that was unlocked. It was pitch black and he couldn't see anything, there was a faint groaning noise "hello who's there" low pitch groan continued "seriously this is not a joke put your hands behind your head where i can see them" but the figure did not oblige instead it jump on top of tails " what the fuck" tails struggled to get it off of him his gun had slid out of it's holster when he fell so he could not defend him self "Sonic ! i need your help up here" sonic rushed in and shot it twice in the head "you okay dude ?" tails still confused which the person had jumped on him answer " yeah could you turn the lights on" sonic tried the lights but nothing happened so tails just opened the curtain to let the moon light enter the room. To there surprise the figure didn't look human at all it's skin was at a state of deterioration that was utterly disgusting. " the hell is wrong with this guys face"
