In the forest A young girl could be seen. she had light skin, long black hair, and wore a light green outfit. She sat still, listing to the quiet chirps of birds in the distance, it was peaceful, even now, knowing the peace would soon be disturbed. And there it was. the noise she was listening for, a distant roar, the roar of an Ursa.

Beth stood, and took out her whip, adjusting the slider on the handle so the poison-coated darts stored inside pushed out just enough to leave on impact, similarly to a cactus. As she walked forward she allowed her semblance to make everything clear to her. despite still hidden, pretty far away at that, she could see the Ursa in her minds eye, it was walking towards a nearby town, one that didn't have any huntsman. Beth quickened her pace, nearly running through the underbrush, then she lassoed a nearby tree with her whip and began to swing, cutting her time in half.

She was in a tree when she reached the Ursa. The hulking form of the dark bear-like grimm was standing up on its hind legs and sniffing, she knew it had heard her. Beth acted in an instance, leaping into the air and shooting darts out of her whip. they hit and the Ursa faltered slightly, its pace slowing as the poison took effect. She landed on top of the Ursa, and used the whip like a mace, hitting the monstrous creature on its back.

The Ursa wasn't giving up so easy though, it reared up, an Beth was flung off, landing in a roll. then, in her mind's eye she saw the beast take to swings and knock her out, because of her forwarn she dodged out of the way of both when it really went for the swings, then she caught one of its paws with her whip, pumping it full of poison before dragging the weakened grimm down. The Ursa was struggling now, and she pressed a button, so a sword stuck out of the handle, wrapped up the whip, and delivered the killing blow, cutting off the creatures head.

Beth turned, put her weapon away and walked back into the forest, letting the Ursa disintegrate behind her.
