Kronos, lord of time and space, lies in the bottom of Tartarus' darkest pit. Although he has been dormant and scattered since the untimely demise of his previous host, Luke Castellan, memories gush through his mind, unifying his consciousness into a single personality. For the first time in what feels like forever, he begins to form thoughts.

"Darkness... pain... everything is dark and bright at the same time... I'm alone... so, so... alone. I must leave... I must find myself... I must be... something... again."

Suddenly, he remembers... someone. A teenage girl, with honey-blonde hair and stormy grey eyes. Her name is... Annabeth? He is unsure. But for some reason, he feels a deep... deep, sense of desire; an urge of... primal origins. Suddenly, he opens his eyes, and wakes up, disoriented, in the middle of a dark pit. Although his surrounding are black and unwelcoming, he ignores it, for his mind is preoccupied by a single goal: "Find Annabeth... and lay with her.".
