This is my first Fanfiction. Sorry if you don't like it. This is how I think Miraculous should end. Please review.
"Pound it."
It was the end of another mission. Paris was saved as usual. Though Cat Noir didn't feel the usual triumph at completing the dangerous task. There was something missing. He looked across at the something. Dark hair, beautiful eyes, face hidden by her Ladybug mask. He had to do it.
"Ladybug?" He asked tentatively.
"Yes." She tossed her hair impatiently, her earrings were flashing, so was his ring.
"Will you ever love me?"
She sighed. This much asked question caused both annoyance and pain.
"I told you, I love someone else. I can't give up on him."
This was all Cat Noir needed, if he waited, she would run away, guess what he was about to do.
"Claws off."
Adrien stood where Cat Noir had. He grinned at Ladybug.
"Your earrings are flashing, you gonna reveal yourself too, milady?
Ladybug leapt off the roof and fled. But not before she had seen Adrien Agreste, the love of her life, smiling up at her. He loved her.
...
She had several options. Looking back on it, Ladybug would have acted differently, but she acted in the interests of their everyday lives. Her and Adrien.
She and Cat Noir met on the rooftop a few days later. He asked the same question.
"Do you love me?"
But this time Ladybug was prepared.
"Cat Noir- Adrien, we can't be together. I change about once a week and I can't keep exploiting my powers. But I have an idea. Go out with Marinette. She loves you to bits and you said yourself she is the everyday me. Have a girlfriend who you can see everyday, who can give you a proper relationship."
Cat Noir tried to answer, but Ladybug was gone. He watched her as she flew over the rooftops of Paris, away from him.
...
"Hey Marinette."
Adrien had never worked out what made him follow Ladybugs advice. He supposed if he couldn't have Ladybug, he would have the next best thing. He had always liked Marinette a lot. She was funny and sweet when she wasn't inexplicably doing strange things in front of him. Girls! He would never understand.
Marinette looked up at him shyly. She really was like Ladybug. Dark hair. Pretty eyes. She wasn't Ladybug, but maybe she was just as good.
"Do you want to go to the movies with me."
She went red, then white. After several second of staring at him, hyperventilating a bit, she squeaked out a yes.
Girls! He would never understand.
...
Marinette was over the moon with joy! Her plan had worked. The movies were just the start. She and Adrien went to the park and the ice rink, they studied together, she even went to one of his fencing classes. The more she knew him, the better they got on. Marinette could feel herself relaxing, talking to Adrien like a normal person more and more.
The best thing was, he never talked to her about Ladybug or cat Noir. Everyone else did, and this made her acutely uncomfortable. She and Adrien had great discussions about everything, from her bakery's latest macaron, to how Kagami had beaten him this week. She knew why, but ignored this fact. If Adrien liked Ladybug, he liked her, she wasn't just a replacement.
But there was one nagging problem at the back of her mind. Although they were technically dating, Adrien hadn't officially asked her to be his girlfriend yet. Chloe had been quick to pick up on this. Many snide remarks had been made. Maybe she should nudge Adrien in the right direction as Ladybug. Would that be wrong?
But nothing prepared her for that night.
...
Cat Noir was once again feeling conflicted. He loved spending time with Marinette. he wanted her to be his girlfriend, but how could he give up on ladybug so easily? The two were meeting up on the rooftop right now, and he had a plan.
"Hey Kitty."
It was her, striding confidently toward him. Suddenly he felt like he had imagined the similarities between her and Marinette. She was so amazing. Marinette was amazing, but not like this.
"Ladybug we need to talk."
"Again?" She seemed happy, more content. He ploughed on before he could feel guilty.
"I can't keep dating Marinette. It feels wrong. I can't give up on you, so I can't commit to her. I love her, I think. But I don't want to hurt her by expecting her to be you."
Ladybug was not prepared for this. The confident smile slipped of her face and drowned in the reality of his words. She had to give up this double life if she wanted to be with the boy she loved.
"I think I can solve your problem." She whispered, screwing up her courage. She was so afraid of what he would think of her. She had lied to him, used him. She was so stupid.
"Spots off."
Cat Noir stared at the shamefaced Marinette, muttering crazy explanations and staring determinately at the floor. He kissed her.
"I'm sorry," she mumbled as they finally pulled apart.
"I forgive you," he murmured as they kissed again.
Hours later, two figures, leapt along the rooftops of Paris, hand in hand. Tomorrow could bring what it wished, but today, they were together.
