George's mind was full of regret.
"Why, "He kept asking himself, "Why did I do that?"
He knew he couldn't trust that app, yet he did it, he had lost all his data.
"Damn, HACKERS! "He yelled.
"We got a backup from yesterday, will that help?" his friend Caleb asked,
trying to calm him down.
"No," He said, with a depressed face, "We'll have to start again, we'll change
the password, add 2fa and everything possible to stop that hacker from ever
entering our database. Someone had to tell him to get us, he won't know we
are doing the contest, unless…"
"Hackers use screens! They can't get it if we write it with our bare hands,
right?" He interrupted.
"Thirty pages of writing, you are kidding! We can't do that!"
"Okay, calm down. Let's just start adding more layers of security, okay?"
"Yeah, Let's do this!"
The room was dark and behind the screen was the hacker, doing what people
wanted, hacking banks, passing security, turning cameras off, deleting traces
of anyone and deleting important files.
He would get money off those things, to him it was easy, so he would get
tens of thousands a day.
RECENTLY, He was told to hack someone's files, to delay them from the
contest, He would get $9,000 dollars, so he did it, little did he know…
"Something is going on. "exclaimed Caleb, "They got rid of all our security,
what type of hacker are we dealing with?!"
"Someone smart enough, maybe if we talk to him, we could stop it"
"I got the details on the database, you ready"
"Call him, now." He felt confident.
Caleb was the hacker; he was supposed to call a number like his own, but he
missed typed on George's phone and didn't realize.
He didn't answer, Caleb's Phone started to vibrate.
He was very confused, why Caleb's phone was ringing instead.
"What's happening to your phone?"
"Someone redirected your call to my phone for cover!"
It didn't stop, George's phone's settings changed suddenly, apps were
downloading, something was wrong, someone was hacking all his devices!
No! How is he doing this, he bypassed everything."
"Unless……unless…"
"Unless what, are you fine?" he interrupted
"Unless it is you, it must be you, you are the only person to be able bypass 34 layers of security in one minute, how Dare YOU! Unless if you were to say no
and say this random hacker can bypass security layers from different
countries in different languages, NO! It is You!"
"It's not……Ughhh."
"WHY! I trusted you with everything! WHY!!" George yelled at Caleb
"I had to, I would earn money, so I did…"
"To your friends, really" He interrupted. "I hate you"
Caleb ran out of the room, the phone vibrated once more than a face
appeared on the phone's glitchy screen, the hackers face with Caleb next to
him, smiling. He had to report him to the council straight away, he couldn't
bear being betrayed by one of his friends from primary school, he cried and
he cried but then he fought the tears, he opened his browser on his new
phone he didn't tell Caleb about then reported him to every council he knew,
he had to be dealt with, he can't do that, Caleb can't do this.
"Nooooo!" He screamed. "Why is this happening?"
