The multiverse had already been fused into one for some time now. No one knows how or why. What was known was that it happened for a reason. As several Earths became one, so did it's inhabitants. Today everyone lives in harmony.

At least for now.

It all began on a regular day in Multiverse Megapolus, the capital of the merged worlds. People and creatures from all over the multiverse could come and go and do as they pleased. Our tale begins in the district of New Youtube, where all the multiverses YouTubers go to hang out. Suddenly, there was a blood curling shriek out of no where.

"WHY CAN I NEVER WIN A ROUND OF THIS!?" shouted SMG4. He was playing Undertale and had lost to Sans for the 2,222nd time. Mario leaned into his ear and whispered, "Because you're a faggot." SMG4 then chucked Mario out of the window of his apartment. SMG4 looked around the room. He was with Bowser, Bob, Saiko, and Fishy Boopkins. Smg4 asked, "Has anyone heard from Tari and Meggy. They said they were gonna join us." "Tari said she and Meggy had to make a stop in Detroit for reasons she could not tell us." answered Bob. Saiko said, "Meggy said she was meeting an old friend, but didn't know what Tari had planned." Smg4 grabbed his phone and decided to give Tari a call.

Tari and Meggy were going different places so they split up. Tari was walking on a street along the outskirts of the city. She had her cybernetic arm hidden under her hoodie sleeve. She found herself in an old abandoned harbor. Suddenly, her arm started chiming. Tari answered the call. "Ey, Tari. What's up?" said Smg4 on the other end. "Oh, hey Smg4. I'm just… walking down memory lane. What's up?" Tari responded. Smg4 said, "Everyone's waiting for you and Meggy. It's game day, remember?" Tari then facepalmed herself. "Oh my God, was that today? I'm sorry Glitchy but I don't think I'll be able to make it, but I'm sure Meggy will be on her way soon enough. I told her not to wait for me if I wasn't waiting for her at her car." Tari looked around and realized she had arrived at her destination. She quickly said, "Sorry everyone gotta go bye!" and hung up. She looked at the ship next to her. It was giant, old, and rusty. On the front painted in white was the word, Jericho. Tari let out a sigh and said, "Who says you can't go home again?"

Meggy was in one of the less populated areas of the city. She was expecting to meet someone. They should have been there by now. Meggy was pretty sure she knew why. She was an inkling when they first met. She made sure no one else was there and said, "Markus, it's me, Meggy. I know I look incredibly different than when we last met, but I assure you I'm still the same person you knew before." Out of the shadows, she heard, "I wasn't sure it was you at first, but I'd recognize that voice anywhere." Markus stepped out. He was wearing a long brown coat that covered the majority of his body. He didn't need the disquise for Meggy to know he was an Android. They shook hands, and Markus looked confused. "You still sound like the inkling I knew before, but your skin feels human now." Meggy sighed and said, "It's complicated. Let me guess, you're no longer sure it's me?" Markus looked Meggy in the eyes and asked, "What was the reason you and I first met?" Meggy stared back at him and said, "You deviants were running out of blue blood and were looking for an alternative. I offered to let you try using inkling ink. It wasn't enough on its own, but when mixed with thirium, no one even noticed the difference. You had enough blue blood for the next five years." Markus grinned and said, "Had to be sure." Meggy decided to get right to the point. "So why did you want to meet me here? What's the problem? We both know it's not blood." She said. Markus answered, "It's kinda hard to explain. It's better if I show you." They walked a few blocks and turned into an alley. On the ground was a dead Android. Meggy was shocked and said "What the fuck happened here?!" Markus got down on his knees and said, "That's the problem, Meggy. We don't know. I've watched you on YouTube, so I know you've seen your share of fights." Markus rolled the Android over, revealing a small black hole on its head. There were black lines all along it's body. "It's some sort of corruption. A friend of mine analyzed it and said it seems to have stopped once it entered his thirium pump." Markus said. Meggy didn't know much about Android, so she said, "That's an Android's heart, right?" Markus nodded. "Whatever this is, there's no record of it anywhere." He said. At that point, Meggy noticed something. She said, "Is it just me or did something in that hole on its head just move?" Sure enough, out of the dead Android's head emerged a strange, small, black creature. Meggy had no clue what it was, and Markus clearly didn't either. Suddenly, it grew until it was twice the size of Markus and enveloped him in itself. Meggy cried, "What the hell?! GET OFF HIM!!!" and lept at the monster, but was thrown against the wall. The creature dissappeared, and Markus was just standing there. Markus looked at his hands, made fists and said in a strange voice, "Now that's more like it. Inorganic but powerful." He turned to Meggy. When he opened his eyes, there was only black. The thing that used to be Markus lunged. It grabbed Meggy and held her like a rag doll. A strange black vortex appeared behind them, and they dissappeared inside it.

Tari entered the ship hesitantly. She uncovered her arm, knowing here she had nothing to hide. She was surprised to find that the ship was empty. A voice in the shadows said, "If you're looking for the deviants, they left quite some time ago." A woman walked out of the shadows. Her eyes were strange and she was missing the back of her head. Tari recognized her. "Oh my gosh. Lucy, is that you?" She asked. Lucy smiled and said, "The hybrid returns." They hugged, and Lucy said, "It's been far too long, Tari." Tari was confused. "What do you mean everyone is gone? Where else do they have to go?" Lucy held out her hand and said, "Calm down. All your old friends are fine. Jericho has been moved to an abandoned warehouse towards the center of town. They should be just…" Lucy suddenly stopped talking, looking puzzled. She looked at Tari and said, "Can you still do that thing with the computers?" Tari understood, put her human hand on Lucy's shoulder, and activated her game warping system. She found she could warp into more than just games. She can enter any type of computer. When Tari opened her eyes, there was a huge databank. Lucy was next to her. The computer they were in was her mind after all. "What is it?" Tari asked. Lucy had a concerned look on her face and said, "Something's wrong." In front of them, a screen appeared. It was a map with a bunch of red dots on it. "This map allows me to see every deviant in Detroit." Lucy said. She was looking around it, frantically. "Lucy, what's happening?" Tari said. Lucy looked Tari dead in the eye and said, "Markus's signal is offline."
