I just wanted to be alone for awhile when I fell... and I couldn't get out. If only my parents loved me, I wouldn't have ran away. If only Asriel wasn't there when I fell, he wouldn't have helped me. If only I could turn back time, over and over again until I got the perfect future. If only...

Chapter 1
All the moms in my village are always gossiping about Mt. Ebotts stomach, saying he eats little kids. I've explored Mt. Ebott everyday for five years, and not once could I find his mouth! He can't eat kids like me if he doesn't have a mouth, right? I only saw that Mt. Ebott has a mouth about a month ago, when Tom fell in.
Tom was a popular kid in the village. A popular bully target, that is. The night I was going to tell him to be determined and fight the bullies back, I saw him running towards Mount Ebott. Of course, I followed him.
"Why does everyone hate me?" he whispered to himself along the way. I followed closely behind, being sure not to be seen. I was good at sneaking, since I would always have to hide just to listen to the moms gossiping.
Tom walked faster and faster, then began running. I didn't have trouble keeping up with him, until I nearly ran face-first into tree and had to dig my heels into the soft dirt of Ebotts forest. I held my breath for a moment, listening to the sounds around me. Tom was heading south-east still, and seemed to be whispering to himself as he ran towards the top of the mountain.
I swerved around the tree and began quietly running after Tom. I couldn't see him in the dark, so I had to stop every few seconds to listen for him, then I'd continue running again.
After doing this process nine times or so, I stopped again and listened.
I heard Toms voice, screaming for help.
"Tom!" I instantly ran as fast as my legs could go in the direction of Toms scream for help. "Tom!" I screaming again.
"Frisk! Help!"
"Where are you?" It sounded like he should be only a few feet away from me when he yelled, "Stop!" I froze.
Tom said, "There's a hole here. A giant one." I heard him sob quietly. "My leg is stuck in some vines, and I'm upside-down."
"Just hold on a minute, I'm coming to get you." I got on my hands and knees and slowly crawled towards Toms sobs. "Almost there." I reached out my hand and almost pushed all my weight on empty air. I was over a cliff of some sort.
"Please..." Tom whispered.
"Hang on just a little while longer..." I heard a snap, and then Tom gasp and the sound of more than one thing sliding down a hill. I reached out blindly and tried to find Tom, but he wasn't there. I searched for Tom all night long, and finally when the sun came out, I saw blood all over my hands. I shrieked.
There were rocks and leaves covered in blood, and I sat on a small hill that curved downwards into nothing but a small picture of me and Tom eating a pineapple, both of us smiling. My eyes started to water.
Toms dead, I thought. And I'll never see him again...

The vine around my leg was really tight, when all of a sudden it just... let go. Like a three-year old letting go of the string of a balloon.
"Frisk, he-" I couldn't finish. A sharp rock slid across my right arm, creating a huge cut, and warm blood came rushing out. Without thinking, my left hand dug into my robe pocket and grabbed whatever I could find to stop the bleeding. I grabbed a piece of paper that felt like a picture and stuck it to my arm. It was hard, since I was falling down a hill with roots from trees and vines and sharp rocks everywhere.
I fell. Into a huge, open mouth it felt like. The picture flew out of my hands as gravity pulled my body to the bottom of a huge pit. It felt like forever as I fell to the bottom of Mt. Ebotts mouth.
I thought I died as the sweet smell of flowers came flowing into my nose.
I thought, If I'm alive, then surely nothing else bad will happen, right?

After I ran back to the village, (sobbing,) I ran straight into Toms parents house without thinking about the blood that I left on the handle of the door.
"Toms mom!" I screamed. Toms mom jumped and turned to me, looking a little startled at first, then horrified.
"What happened to y-" Toms mom began.
"Tom fell into the mouth of Mt. Ebott!" I breathed in the sweet air of Toms house. Every time I came I , mo matter how troubled I was, the sweet air soothes me a bit. Toms mom looked confused, then serious.
"Are you sure? This isn't a joke for Tom to be noticed more or anything?" I shook my held, not even feeling the burning tears that ran down my face. She covered her mouth and tears ran down her face, also. She knows I never lie to anyone. She knows I'm telling the truth.
I'm sorry, Mrs. Tom, that I have to be the one to tell you your son died. I'm so, so sorry.

A month later after Tom fell, I did, too. I knew I was gonna fall if I tried to make a rope down the pit on Mt. Ebott, but I did it anyways, because I wanted to save Tom. He must still be down there, still hoping that I will come save him. He hasn't died yet! ...Right?
Please Tom, if you're still alive, hang in there.
I tightened the long rope around my waist and began trying to climb down slowly and carefully. The rope was in my dads garage for years, so it could break very easily.
A vine caught my brown boot, and made my foot slip.
"Ah...!" I caught my footing and began making my way down the hole.
Slowly, slowly I climbed down the hole.
Carefully, carefully moving one hand down, then one foot, then one hand, and one foot down the huge pit.
Quickly, very quickly the rope broke on a sharp piece of rock.
Falling, falling down quickly, unable to do anything but scream.
I had fallen. And I landed...
On a pile of yellow flowers?
I grunted. The fall hurt very badly, and I tried to get up. The last thing I saw before I passed out was the fazed image a ten-year old boy monster, offering his hand to me as a reached for him.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Are you all right?"
I opened my eyes. There was a... creature with white fur all over it, and it kinda looked like a puppy mixed with a goat, except that the whole thing looked super adorable. Little adorable goat. :3
"Are you all right?" the boy asked again. He held out his hand to me, and I took it. He pulled me up, and I realized that he was the boy from before, except he was three years older, the same age as me.
"W-who are you?" I asked. He wagged his dog like tail and looked me straight in the eyes. (His eyes were really pretty and blue.)
Ow... my head really hurts... must've been the fall.
"I'm Asriel," the boy answered. He wore a green and yellow striped hoodie that looked very good on him. "Who are you, and how'd you get down here?" His ears went up as he asked the question. He looked so fluffy, I just wanted to hug him and absorb his warmth so that I wouldn't have to stand in such a cold room.
I pointed up at the huge hole above us. "I fell."
"And survived," he said, smiling. "I feel like I know you from somewhere. Is this your first time falling down here? Or are you someone I completely don't know?" Why was this monster being so nice to me? Aren't monsters supposed to eat people and stuff?
"I never saw you before today," I answered.
Asriel looked kinda disappointed. "Oh, okay."
"Where am- where are we?" I asked. Me and the monster boy were in a small black room with pillars reaching towards the sky, and the only thing colorful (that wasn't alive,) was the pile of yellow flowers that lay in the middle of the room.
"We're at 'Home.'" I looked at him, confused. "Well, actually, I like to call it 'Old Home,' since barely andybody still hangs around this place." I was even more confused.
"'Old home...?' Where's 'New Home,' then?" I let go of Asriels hand, and started touching the walls, looking for a way out of this small room.
The monster boy was surprised. "You know about 'New Home?' But you're not even a monster!"
"Well you did say you call this place 'Old Home,' so I assumed you must have another place to live." I walked all around the room, but there was no exit. "Hey, Asriel, how do I get out of here?"
"Oh..." he looked disappointed again, which looked like a puppy way more than a goat. He's probably more puppy than goat. "Well, if you really want to leave, goodbye. I hope we see each other again one day."
"W-wait!" Asriel and the black room disappeared, then reappeared, but without him. The only thing that you could tell someone was here at all was his yellow and green striped hoodie, which I put over my pink and purple striped shirt. "Thank you, Asriel. For the hoodie. It's very warm."
I was able to see a path that looked like it led to another room up ahead. I left the bed of flowers and went through a short hall into a large black room with nothing in it except me, a door on the other side of the room, and a single yellow flower that was being lit with moonlight.
It's still night...
I began walking forward, but the flower moved, which made me freeze. It didn't move again, so I began walking again.
"Howdy!" A voice said. I gulped. The flower moved, and it had a face on it, with a huge smile.
"Wow, It sure has been a long time since there was someone down here! Well, other than that human..." the flower said, still grinning widely.
"Do you mean Tom?" I asked.
The flower looked confused. "Tom? I don't think the young boy told me his name." I sighed. "Don't be upset, stranger! I'm sure the kid is A-ok! Now, do you need help getting around the ruins? If so, I'd be glad to help you!"
"Ruins?"
"Oh yes! This place used to be home before the Kings son died. Poor old man." The flower looked down sadly, then looked up with his huge smile on his face again. "Anyways, let me help you! I'll teach you the way of Undertale!"
Undertale is such an amazing game. I've been playing it nonstop, and barely have been getting enough sleep. I should probably take a brake from the game. :D
