Prologue: Who is this man?

Uru's Pov:

Lana: "Mum!"

I looked at the direction of the voice that called for me. The voice belonged to my beloved adopted human sister, Lana. I simply smiled at her as she approaches me in the den.

Uru: "Hi Lana, how is your day?"

Lana: "Good. What about you?"

Uru: "Oh Lana, you know that I am always been better."

Lana: "You always say that."

Taka: *Chuckles*"Well its the truth."

Both of us spent our time talking to each other. It was fun talking to her until Lana finally asked the question that I didn't expect to be asked.

Lana: "Um...mum...I have been wondering but...I found a few photos about you with some...well...a human boy? Can you tell me who he is?"

I was taken back by the question, I never thought that I would see these photos again. especially the day that...well...I guess she needs to know this since she found it.

Uru: "Alright, I will tell you but let's head to your room first."

Lana simply nodded to my request and took a walk to her room. Once we arrived in her room, she fixes herself up so she could listen to the story I'm about to tell her.

Uru: "All right Lana. Since you found these photos, let me tell you a story about this boy."

*Flashback*

Narrator's (Uru) Pov:

Once upon a time, during the days of the old. The society, known as the Orokins, who lived peacefully in the existence of the world. They were kind and generous people. They possess high power but they were willing to share it with their known Allies. The 7 emperors ruled the social hierarchy of the Orokin. They were known for their superiority against the threat of the invaders called "the sentient". To defeat their enemy, they have created of their own. They call them "Warframes". These frames are operated by children that possess unnatural void power to transfer both their body and consciousness in it. One of the founders of these warriors is named "Dex".

Dax Soldier: "Dex Syberium, report to Emperor Kenshin's office immediately."

Dex left his quarters with his Excalibur frame. He went to the Emperor's office like he was requested to. He bowed before saying anything.

Emperor Kenshin: "Dex Syberium, one of the founders of the tenno program, it's nice to see you too."

Dex: "I could say the same thing to you too, my lord. What do you need me for?"

Emperor Kenshin: "I would like to make a request from you."

Dex: "And what would that be?"

Emperor: "I and my sectarius are paying a visit to pridelands to check on King Mohatu's progress on his rule this afternoon. We like to request that you will be accompanying us during that time. Will you accept?"

Dex stood there for a moment, still thinking of what to say to his emperor.

Dex: "So...is it just me taking this job or is someone coming with me?"

Emperor Kenshin: "I'm afraid you're the only one who is available, my friend. The rest are assigned to do some mission from outer worlds"

Dex sighed before speaking to the emperor.

Dex: "Alright, your highness. I will do it."

Emperor Kenshin: "Excellent! We will make preparations then."

Dex: "Wait! We're going now?!"

Emperor Kenshin: "Of course, you have any problem with that?"

Dex was alarmed by the question. He knew that it would be disrespectful for him to doubt the Emperor's decision. He didn't answer the question as he realized that the Emperor would not take no as an answer if he tried to reason with him. Not minutes long, they were already making their way to the pridelands. Dex was being cautious about their surroundings as he will never know when or how their attackers will plan their ambush on them. It was a long journey so that means they will have to camp for a night. The next day, they continue their journey as the walked to the pathway leading them to their destination. They were already 30 miles away from the pridelands and they could already see the view of the pride rock. Dex could not help but admire the view. It was magnificent and somewhat intriguing. Then few lioness guards greeted them as they approach further to the Priderock.

Lioness Guard: "Emperor Kenshin, you have arrived. Allow us to escort you to King Mohatu."

Emperor Kenshin: "That would be much appreciated."

They lead them the way to the priderock. A lot of anthropomorphic lionesses were gathering at the arrival of their Orokin visitors. Eyes were focused on them like they were curious about them. When they reached the top of the priderock, King Mohatu and his son, Prince Ahadi greeted them for their arrival.

Mohatu: "Kenshin! It's good to see you here!"

Kenshin: "I can say the same thing to you too."

Mohatu: "Oh and may I introduce you to my son, Ahadi."

Kenshin: "Hello, My prince! It is a great pleasure to meet you."

Ahadi just gave him a deadpan look as if he was not pleased with his presence.

Ahadi: "I am pleased to meet you too, Orokin."

Mohatu: "Ahadi! I deeply apologize for my son's words on you."

Kenshin *Chuckles*" None needed. I'm not a sensitive person after all."

Both Mohatu and Kenshin were chuckling at each other until it they finally got back to themselves.

Kenshin: "Allow me to introduce my Sectarius, my first right hand, and one of the founders of Tenno program, Dex Syberium."

Dex and the Sectarius bowed before Mohatu as he nodded in response.

Mohatu: "There is so much I want t to discuss with you, old friend."

Kenshin: "And I am open to hearing them all. Dex, why don't you have a tour in the pridelands while I and my Sectarius will talk to King Mohatu."

Dex: "Well...sure...why not."

Ahadi: "I don't think this is great-"

Mohatu: "I will have someone to tour you around, Mr. Syberium."

Dex: "No need. I think I can manage myself."

Dex made his way done to the Priderock and left.

Mohatu: "What an interesting person he is."

Kenshin: "Indeed he is."

*Moments later*

Dex was resting in an open spot of the Savannah grassland. He lying in the ground in his human form while his Excalibur frame was standing next to him. The air was nice, the area was so peaceful that he wished that he could live here. An idea pop out of him. He pulls out his holopad and scans the view he liked the most. Then he made a blueprint of some kind of bunkhouse. He plans to make a bunkhouse for him to stay in the pridelands. Everything was quiet on his surroundings until he heard voices in the large grasses behind him.

Voice: "Asmani! Keep your voice down! He could probably hear us now."

Asmani: "He probably won't. We are lions, right? There is no way he will know about us."

Dex: "Well. You're wrong there, my friend."

There was utter silence when he commented on the chattering behind him. He turns around to face the direction of where the voice was heard.

Dex: "You know you can come out. It's pointless that you're already been discovered."

Not even a second, two anthro lionesses emerges out from the large grasses. The one in the right has red-orange fur, with a black robe and orange wavy hair. The one left had a white tan fur with yellow clothing and a ponytail.

Dex: "Why were you sneaking on me just like that?"

Asmani: "We didn't want to ruin your relaxing time. We're sorry if we alarmed you."

Dex: "That's fine. I'm used to being alarmed. By the way, I didn't get your names? My name is Dex Syberium"

Asmani: "My apologies again. My name is Asmani, and my friend here is Uru."

Dex looked at the Uru. Both of their eyes interlocked to each other. Dex had to admit that Uru was beautiful for a lioness. Asmani noticed their gaze to each other and snaps her fingers to gain their attention. Both of them were startled and looked away as they realized their actions.

Uru: "So...you're an Orokin, huh?"

Dex: "Yes, I am."

Asmani: "I thought Tennos and Orokins are two different species."

Dex: "technically they are not. We're just...special. that's all."

Dex chuckled nervously and tried to avoid the subject. Both Lioness looked at him with confusion.

Uru: "Definitely not the answer we are looking for but alright."

Dex was about to speak until he heard a beep on his holopad. He looked to see the Sectarius was calling him. He presses the button to answer the call.

Sectarius: "Dex, Where are you? The king and the emperor would like to speak with you immediately."

Dex: "I'm on way. Just tell them I'll be there soon."

He ended the call and place his holopad to his pocket. He was about to leave until one of the lionesses came to him.

Uru: "Wait! Let us escort you!"

Dex: "Thank you but I can manage myself."

Uru: "No, we insist."

Asmani: "Actually, I'm going now. See you later, Uru!"

Uru: "Asmani! Wait!"

But Asmani was already making a run and left them behind. It was just the two of them left in the grass area.

Dex: "Okay...Let's just go on ahead,"

Uru: "Yeah...right."

It a split second, Dex transferred back to his Excalibur frame and completely surprises Uru in the process.

Dex: "Relax. It's just a Tenno thing called Transference. This is how we connect to our warframes."

Uru: "Is that how it works?"

Dex: "Yep. That's how it all works...I would like to continue this conversation but we should probably go."

Uru: "Oh yeah...sure."

The duo started walking their way back to the Pridelands. Uru couldn't help but stare at Dex. When he was in his human form, he was very handsome for an Orokin himself. She wonders if...

Dex: "Paint a picture, it will last longer."

Uru blushed really hard that she has to turn away from shame. Dex just chuckled at her reaction and continue to look back to the pathway. Dex was wondering what the emperor and the king want from him. Well, he will have to find out by speaking to them himself.
