I understand that this first chapter is really long. I got carried away. The chapters are either gonna be short like around 1000 words or long with 4000 words. Please let me know which you prefer. "I don't wanna go mom!" I said as she packed my bag. Tears were rolling down her eyes.

"I don't want you to go either sweetheart."

"Then why are you sending me? I'm not that troubled!"

She cried even more. "You'll understand someday. I love you honey."

"Yeah, I love you more."

My moms been acting weird ever since I got kicked out of my 16th school. I got expelled for punching some bully in the face. Oh, I'm sorry for standing up for myself.

The principal said I would have only gotten suspended for 2 weeks but apparently my punch broke the whole guys jaw and nose. I'm not even strong. His dads a lawyer and wanted me gone so I just left.

My moms now sending me to a private school in the middle of no where. Somewhere in North Carolina or something.

We were both in the car, she was driving me to the airport. I don't understand why my mom can't just homeschool me. At the same time I do understand, I mean I've basically been kicked out of all the schools in New York.

Ooh and this one time I had a warrant out for my arrest but that's a whole other story.

We got to the airport and mom started to cry again.

"Mom, I'll be back for Christmas, right?"

She cracked a smile. "Of course honey. Here," she handed me a big container of my favorite blue cookies. "I love you."

"I love you more."

"Chiron, the director will be waiting for you at the airport in NC."

I nodded. "I really don't want to go."

"I know honey, you'll like it there I promise."

We said our goodbyes once again and I got on the plane.

Ugh, I hate planes. It's like Zeus doesn't like me or something. Last time I got on a plane it almost crashed and then the other time I threw up only about 50 times. Wonder what will happen this time.

I got on my flight and ended up sitting next to this girl. She's pretty but she would never go for a guy like me.

"Are you gonna keep looking at me like that?" She asked, not taking her eyes off of her book.

I raised a eyebrow and smirked. "No."

She rolled her eyes and closed her book. "I'm trying to read. It's kind of hard to do that when there's a creepy stranger staring at me like I'm candy."

"Well I don't like candy so ha ha," I said. Dang she wasn't just pretty she's perfect. Long curly hair, which I could tell is natural. Stunning gray eyes and just wow.

"Who in their right mind doesn't like candy?"

I laughed. "I'm kidding. I love candy. Especially blue candy."

She raised her eyebrow. "I'm gonna take a guess and say your favorite color is blue. Blue suitcase, blue phone, blue jeans, etc."

"And you guessed correctly!"

She laughed. "Nice. Now can I get back to my book without you staring at me?"

"Mhmmmm. No."

She glared at me. "Why."

"Because I'm bored and reading is boring."

"Uh, no. Reading is the best."

"I got ADHD and Dyslexia so I avoid reading."

She suddenly stopped everything and looked at me like she just saw a ghost.

"ADHD and Dyslexia. Can I ask you a question?"

I nodded. "Uh sure?"

"Are you going to Chirons school for troubled teens?"

I gasped. "Yes, how'd you know?"

She sighed. "Oh god. Your in for a surprise."

I raised a eyebrow. "You go there?"

"Yuppp. Let's just say it's not really a school for troubled teens."

"Is it like prison?"

She laughed. "No, I love it there. It's just a lot to take in."

"Oh really? What do you mean."

She rolled her eyes. "Doesn't matter, Chiron will explain everything to you. Your supposed to meet him at the airport correct?"

"Yeah, I think. That's what my mom told me."

"Good. Looks like we're gonna be together for the next 8 hours. He's giving me a ride back to the school."

"That's cool. So what got you in trouble?"

"What do you mean?"

"Why are you at a school for troubled teens. No offense but you don't see very trouble like."

She snorted. "I'm not troubled."

"Then why do you go there?"

She rolled her eyes. "Chiron will explain it to you."

"Can't you just tell me?"

"No."

"Why."

"Because I said so."

"Loser."

"Jerk."

"Wise girl."

"Seaweed brain."

"Wow, seaweed brain. Where did you come up with that one."

"Uh says the one who called me wise girl. Plus your head seems like it's full of kelp."

I rolled my eyes. "For your information, wise girl is a very good nickname."

"Yes, yes it is. Totally not original at all."

"Whatever. I'm going to sleep so I don't have to hear your annoying voice. Tell me when we land."

"Yeah, whatever."

I woke up by her slapping me.

"What the hell was that for!"

She smirked. "We're here."

We landed and she pulled out a map on her phone.

"Oooh a map. Where are we going that we need a map. Neverland?"

She looked up at me and glared. "Do you even know what neverland is?"

"Isn't it the same thing as hell except without fire and like demons?"

She rolled her eyes. "Sure whatever you wanna think. And I need a map because Chiron told me he would be waiting at the front door and I don't know where that is."

I pointed at some man with these weird horn things in his hands. "Is that him?"

She looked at me and then him. "What the hell it is how'd you know."

"I'm just too smart."

"Yeah okay, and I'm god."

"Ouch that was rude, wise girl."

"How about you call me by my first name and not a stupid nickname."

"What's your first name then?"

"Annabeth."

"I'm Percy."

"I'd say nice to meet you but I wouldn't wanna lie to you."

"Wowwwww."

Chiron walked up the us. "Are you Percy Jackson?"

"Yes sir, your Chiron?"

He smiled and I shook his hand. "Nice to meet you son. This is Annabeth Chase. She's one of our most gifted students."

"Gifted? She's special needs?"

Annabeth slapped me on the shoulder. "Can you not be a dimwit for a second?"

"Never."

Chiron raised a eyebrow. "Do you two know eachother?"

"No. I just had to sit next to this loser on the plane ride from New York to here."

"Ahhh. How is your mother doing anyway?"

Annabeth sighed. "She hardly even talked to me. Too busy on whatever the heck she was working on."

"Sorry to like intrude on your conversation but can someone please tell me why I'm at a school for troubled teens."

Chiron laughed. "All in good time. I got us a limo."

"A LIMO?"

"Yes Percy, a limo. Do you know what a limo is?" Annabeth asked me.

I rolled my eyes. "Bully."

The car ride was a silent ride but I didn't mind it. Annabeth said it wasn't really a school for troubled teens and I'd understand but no ones telling me anything so I'm freaking confused. Also I miss my mom.

"We're here. Someone will grab your bags later Percy, I want to talk to you," Chiron said.

Annabeth and I both got out of the limo and she waved at these two girls.

"I'll see you guys later," she said as she ran over to them.

"So Percy, do you know why your mother sent you here?"

"Because this schools for troubled teens and I've been kicked out off like 16."

Chiron chuckled. "Yes but no. You have both ADHD and Dyslexia correct?"

"Well yeah. Annabeth asked me that on the ride also. What does that have anything to do with this?"

"Look at everyone," he said.

I looked around and everyone seemed very happy. "I did. I still don't get it."

"Everyone here was born with a well strength per say."

"What does that mean?"

"Super powers, Percy."

"So your telling me Batman and Superman are real?"

Chiron shrugged. "In a way, yes. But those characters were made by tv producers."

"What's my superpower. Wait. How did my mom know I was like this?"

"Your father is Poseidon right?"

"How'd you know?"

"We went here together 30 years ago. We were both top of our classes. He was able to control water."

"If my dad could control water I think I would know."

Chiron sighed. "How is he doing anyway?"

I looked down. "He died when I was 12."

Chiron frowned. "Oh. I didn't realize. I'm sorry for your loss."

"Wait sorry again, what's my superpower? Do I like read minds and fly and stuff."

Chiron laughed. "I'm going to say you either can breathe under water or have a power water related."

"Why?"

"Because it was passed down from your fathers genes."

"Oh. That makes sense."

He smiled. "Yes it does. I'm going to have someone show you around for the next few days. Heres your key to your room and a map. You'll find your schedule on your bed."

"Thanks Chiron."

"Anytime, let me know if you need anything."

"I will."

A girl appeared next to Chiron and I'm kind of sad it wasn't Annabeth.

"Hey, I'm Piper. I guess I'll be showing you around for the next day or 2."

I smiled. "I'm Percy."

"Here, I'll show you where your room is first and we can grab your schedule."

"Sounds gucci to me."

"What's a gucci?"

"You dont know what gucci means? Wow what a loserrr."

She glared at me. "Excuse you, I am not a loser I just don't know slang."

"Gucci isn't slang."

"Yeah okay whatever. Here are where everyone's dorms are. Hah wow your room 315."

"Is that bad?"

She smirked. "Not at all. Your right in between my boyfriend and one of my best friends."

"Oh, that's cool. Maybe we can paint each others nails and spill tea together some night."

"Wow your so funny you should be a comedian."

"I totally agree."

"Piper if he's giving you a hard time just slap him real hard in the face," someone said from behind us.

There was Annabeth, but now in her school uniform. Kinda looks hot on her.

"I just might."

"Annabeths my new bff."

"No I'm not."

"Uh huh. You love me now."

"Ah wait. Do you two know eachother?"

Annabeth sighed. "Yeah, I sat next to him on my flight back."

Piper started laughing.

"What's so funny?" I asked her.

She looked up at me and started laughing even more. "You and Annabeth are dorm neighbors!"

Annabeth glared at me. "Your kidding. He's 315?"

Piper laughed even more. "Good luck with that Annie, now you have to deal with both Jason and Percy."

"Don't forget that Travis lives across from me which is scary, also never call me Annie again."

"Ooh, Annie. I like the ring to that," I said.

She glared at me. "I'll throw your ass to hell and back if you call me Annie."

I smirked. "Annie."

She glared at me. "I don't like you."

"I know you don't like me. You loveeeee me."

Piper rolled her eyes. "You guys are gonna end up dating I swear. But right now I need to give him his tour."

Annabeth smirked. "That's cool. I'll see you in Jason's at 8?"

"Yeah. This time please try to like make Silena not come. She made fun of how Jason and I kiss for about the whole time. Then she charmed speaked us into kissing so she could video tape it.

Annabeth smirked. "I mean, it's kinda funny. Plus she's your half sister, just charm speak back to her."

"It's harder then it looks."

"Uh. What the hell are you guys talking about?" I asked.

"Percy brain is full of seaweed. Hell, he probably doesn't even have a brain," Annabeth laughed.

"That hurt my feelings and I think you should apologize."

"No. Anyway I'll see you guys later," Annabeth said as she walked past us into her dorm room.

"Anyway. Get your schedule off of your bed, I'll show you where your classes are."

"Alright cool."

I grabbed my schedule and walked back over to piper.

"What's charm speaking?" I was curious. Sounds like some type of super power.

"Ah. Kinda hard to explain. Let's say if I told you to kiss Annabeth, you'd be under the influence and do it."

"So your basically like alcohol?"

She rolled her eyes. "Sure."

"Also who's Silena? I didn't know 2 people could have the same power."

"Ah, it's not common for 2 people to have the same power unless they're related. Silena and I have the same mom but different dad so I guess we both got the genes."

"That's cool. Did your mom have the same power?"

"Not exactly. She was really really pretty. She was just a goddess in general. Her looks made every guy drop to the ground. I guess that was her superpower?"

"You keep saying was. She gone? If you don't mind me asking."

Piper frowned. "Yeah, she died a year ago."

"Sorry for your loss."

"Thanks. Also do you have anymore questions. Might as well ask them now."

"Yeah. When will I know my superpowers and will they be cool."

"First off you won't have more then one, it's super super rare. Chiron himself said he's only seen it happen to several people. Also you'll find out when we do tests on you."

"Uh tests? I'm no lab rat."

Piper laughed. "Not those kind of test silly."

"I hate tests."

"Who doesn't. Sucks having learning disability's."

"Facts. So, what's Annabeths powers?"

Pipers eyebrows scrunched together. "Gonna be honest here. I don't really know."

"Oh cmon, you said you guys were close."

"Well yeah, she just doesn't tell anyone. I think the only person who knows her power is Chiron."

"Why wouldn't you want to tell people about your superpower?"

Piper shurgged. "Beats me."

After a little piper showed me the classrooms and all the other rooms like the gym, libary and other stuff. This schools seems really cool. I wonder how my mom was able to afford sending me here.

"Let me introduce you to some people."

She walked over to 2 guys and pointed to me.

"This is Leo Valdez and Jason Grace."

I smiled. "I'm Percy."

"Yo I'm Leo this loser is Jason and I'm hotter then him."

"Leo shut the hell up. Pipes just introduced us."

Leo winked at me. "Jason doesn't like me very much."

"His loss."

"Ooohhh, burn!" Leo said.

Jason rolled his eyes. "So Percy, whats your power?"

I shurgged. "Dunno yet. I just got here not even 2 hours ago."

Leo laughed. "Watch him have a better power then Jason."

Jason rolled his eyes. "Be quiet troll."

"Jason, be nice. You know that Leo is insecure about his height."

Leo glared at both of them. "I am not a troll I'm 5'7 which is a good height."

"Yeah for girls," Jason snorted.

Leo looked at me and frowned. "Tell Jason to stop bullying me."

"Jason, Leo said he wants to make out with you."

"I DIDNT SAY THAT HE SAID THAT!"

We all started laughing. "Jason, Percy is actually right in between you and Annabeth."

Jason laughed. "Now we can torture Annabeth together."

I smirked. "On a scale of 1-10, how good are you at pranks?"

"Hey! I want in!" Leo said.

"100000, plus Travis lives right across Annabeth and he's really good at pranks so we can do like a prank war us three against Annabeth."

"And me!" Leo said.

"Oh shush you monkey."

"I'm down anytime."

"Wait, has Percy met Annabeth yet?" Leo asked.

Piper nodded. "They actually got along."

"Your saying. Someone like Percy, gets along someone like Annabeth? Annabeth doesn't even like me and I'm funnier then Percy," Leo said.

I gasped dramatically. "First off I'm funnier and hotter you troll monkey."

Jason started to laugh. "Boom roasted and toasted."

"Beauty queen are you really gonna let your rude boyfriend make fun of me like this?"

"Mhmmm, yeah. Anyway we're gonna get going I wanna I teroduce him to more people."

I said goodbye to those two and follow piper, we walked through this hallway and ran into these 3 girls. By the look on pipers face I could see she was not happy to see them.

"Ooohh, Piper whos this hotty?"

Piper rolled her eyes. "This is Percy he's new."

All the girls looked at me and winked.

"I'm Drew, this is Rachel and Hayley."

All three of them looked me up and down. Then Drew siege her phone number down and handed it to me. Call me for some fun."

And just like that they walked away.

"Uh. Who were those human barbies and why did they just hit on me?"

Piper snorted. "Those are the 3 queen bees. The schools thots. They'll do anything for a guy."

"Scary."

"I know. I'll introduce you to more people tomorrow. It's already 7:30 and I'm going over to Jason's."

"Ah well I'll walk with you becsuse I live right next to him apparently."

Piper laughed. "You know what. You should come over to his place tonight it's movie night. Maybe if you want you'll fit in right with our friend group."

"Who's in your group?"

"Jason, Leo, Annabeth, Hazel, Frank, and I. We also hangout with other people like Silena and Calypso but that's our main little group."

"If your so tight then why are you inviting me to your movie night?"

Piper smiled. "I think your cool. Leo and Jason like you and Annabeth doesn't completely hate you. Plus I think Hazel and Frank would like you."

"Thanks for telling me how awesome I am."

Piper rolled her eyes. "Whatever. Let me just tell them your coming also."

I smiled. "Thanks for doing this for me."

Piper smiled. "That's what friends are for."

Dang she just called me a friend. I've never really had a friend before. Well I have had a friend before but he just disappeared off the face of earth. Screw you Grover.

"Also I totally ship you and Annabeth."

"Oh be quiet."

She smirked. "You guys would be perfect for eachother."

Yeah, maybe.

"She wishes."

Piper laughed. "Funny."
