A/N:there is based fanfic called 'gianni bizzare adventure',and this is just my take on that story and i got permission to use his characters.
CHAPTER 1
it was a nice day on the city of rome,the sun shined brightly over the beatiful monuments and giving the water a sparkling view while a fresh breeze blowed across the trees and the buildings.
on the city hall there was having a very important event as it was surrounded by reporters,cameras and people in general,all watching one single man on top of a podium.
the man in question was a tall and charming man around his late 30's,he had a respectable build that was easily noticed through his impecable black suit that went well with his slick black hair also giving a nice contrast for the piercing icy blue eyes that scanned across the room.
this man is the newly elected Bello odioso,the prime minister of rome.
"i welcome you all,and thank you all that gave me your vote of confidence which allowed me to be here today,i'll be answering all your questions to the best of my abilities"he said in a deep and commanding yet calm and soothing voice
"what do you plan to do now that you are the prime minister"asked a short man
"i plan to use my new position to make rome a better place to all,where peace and freedom are the main principles of life,next"he asnwered sincerely
"and what do you plan on doing about the questionable level of education and poor health care issues "asked a tall woman with black puffy hair
"i plan to add more public schools and ensure the improvment of learning of our future generation as well as build more hospitals and hire more reliable professionals to make rome have a new start,next "he said
"and what do you have to say of the ever increasing level of crimes "asked a fat man
"i plan to take care of that by taking new approach i think will be beneficial to all,where those who deserve it should be punished as severly as their crimes and hunted down for name of justice"he said and everyone applauded
one of bellos' body guard approached him and spoke on his ear
"is that so,very well"he said back and returned his gaze to the crowd
"well,it has been a nice day but i have to go,i have time for one more question"he said,he looked at someone of interest until she spotted someone
"you,lady with the blonde hair"he said pointing to a young woman with long blond hair,grey jacket and black pants
"melissa martine sir,what do you have to say about the rumors about you having cheated your way in"she said taking him off guard
"ahem,i assure you these are nothing more than rumors,i consider myself a honest man,and to be elected anyway other than such would be outraging"he said
"and what about the missing reporters case,it was said they were investigating you"she said
"i guarantee,i am as honest as any man who considers themself as righteous,this will be it thank very much"he said turning and leaving.
after the interview,melissa stormed off angrily
"hey ,melissa!"a voice called
she turned to see a young man around her age,he was taller than her with brown hair and black eyes,he was wearing a white shirt with 'esperanza' written on it,ripped jeans and brown shoes
"oh,hey gianni"she reponded
"you okay,you sure stormed off after your talk with the new prime minister"he said
"im fine,it's just,i can't get a lead on this and im sure he has something to do about the missing reporters,it just frustrates me"she said
"what i know is that something feels off with that guy,maybe is just his creepy way of talking"gianni said
"maybe but just looking at him gives me a feeling there is something more underneath"she said,her phone then started buzzing
"who is it?"gianni asked curious
"it's my contact,he said he may have found new leads,i gotta go,nice talking to you gianni"melissa hugged the tall teen and ran off
"well,i still have to clean my house"he said walking off as well giving a yawn
ELSEWHERE
on a mansion of sorts,stood bello odioso reading a book about law and order while simultaniously watching at footages of that blonde reporter which accused him talking with someone else.
"i thought you took care of those cases mr fratelli"he said looking at a middle aged man dressed as a judge
"i made sure those cases were never found,i did all you asked for"the judge said slightly hesitant
"it seems,you didn't hide those cases well enough,now we have a bug entering our vault"he said
"i don't know how she found leads but i assure that"fratello was cut
"it doesn't matter know,what we can do now is move foward,and you can calm down,you are not in trouble"he said making antonio sigh in relief
"yet"he finished making the judge tense again before leaving
bello odioso turned to the large window on his office looking at his beatiful and well kept garden
"it seems our little mole is coming a little too close for my comfort,she must be taken care off silently"he said still looking at the garden
"i can count on you right"he said,his shadow warping slightly to a twisted smile before vanishing
the new prime minister pressed a button to call on his office phone
"hello,ms pendleton,has the 3pm appointment arrived yet?"he asked
"yes sir odioso,i'll send him up immedietly"the secretary said
the door behind bello opened to reveal a man in a trenchcoat with the hood covering his face
"good afternoon,marcello,i have a important job for you"he said as the camera zoomed in gianni's picture
OUTSIDE A APARTMENT COMPLEX
melissa had just followed her new lead,which brought her to a empty alley between two apartment complexes
"this lead may be pretty good if it led me here"she started to search around any possible place,trash bags,behind bins and so on
after searching for a few minutes,she was getting frustrated
"the lead can't be wrong,it wasn't before,come on there must be something"she basically pleaded at this point
"you seem out of hope,reporter"said a chilling voice
melissa quickly turned around but saw nothing,she slowly walked away
"tell me,has that lead come anywhere or have you finally reached rock bottom"the eary voice said sending chills down her spine
"who are you,what do you want"melissa shouted looking around frantically
form behind her,strong hands grabbed her and firmed her against the wall
"let me go"she shaked her body in a attempt to escape
"why the hurry,didn't you want to see my face"melissa opened her eyes and saw someone,no something that would hunt her mind forever.
it was a tall humanoid being that appeared to be made of wood,like a manekin of sorts,half his body was white while the other was black,his limbs were long and thin yet very strong,across his body were symbols of hearts-some broken and some whole-on his head was some sort of hat making its head seem like a drum,but the most striking features were it's two black and white voids for eyes which stared the young reporter deep in her soul
"whatever you are,why are you attacking me"melissa demanded making the beast chuckle in it's twisted double voice
"my master was quite impressed when you managed to find out many of things he'd rather keep,let's say a secret,and i was sent to take care of it"he said
"please,let me go"melissa pleaded
"i was sent to kill you,but i think there is no need,especially with people who still care about you,which can prove annoying so all i ask is for you to... forget"he said staring deeper into her soul with his eyes
"i need that information!i won't throw the last month to waste"she said
"grrr,stubborn girl!"her captor slammed his fist into the wall near her
"come on,i know you can do it,because"
using his free arm he drawed a heart in the air,forming a floating pink bright heart
"i know you want to go on with life,and if you do love yourself,then you love me"he said lightly pushing the heart foward making it float towards melissa and once it touched her,she felt all her worries go away,with one thought only
"i must obey,i will forget"she said like a zombie
"gooooood,now go and act like never happened or i won't be so kind"he said as a order before vanishing
after melissa walked out of the alley she snapped out of her transe
"huh?what happened i can't remeber,is all a blur"she said holding her head
"i think i'm just tired"she said before heading home
