Hi guys! So I accidentally deleted the chapter for Respawn and it was like 5500 words long, I gave you this until I re-write that.
It had been 10 years since the sudden heart wrenching events in her life. Now, she only focused on the school and on herself. She didn't really meet any of her old friends, everyone was so busy, she still kept in touch with them, but phone calls just weren't the same, not that it bothered her anymore. She was happy for Damon and Elena, they were both humans, they even had a kid. She video called them a few days ago, and seeing them age 10 years made her giggle. She was still the same. Bonnie found peace... kinda. She would do a lot of managing, but most of the situations were being handled by Alaric. She would rarely visit the school, but when she did, the first person there to greet her would always be Hope. She reminded her of Klaus in every way, her personality, her artistic view, not to mention her British accent. She really thought she developed something for Klaus, sadly it was when he was about to die. After that, she never really thought of being in a relationship. She also never thought that her and Rebekah could ever tolerate each other, but they were pretty good friends by now. Their friendship started when Caroline went to comfort Rebekah when Klaus died, from there on, they became best friends. Caroline had been trying her best to avoid talking to Rebekah for a while, because she kept mentioning some powerful witches trying to hunt the Mikaelson's down, and Caroline didn't want to get involved. Rebekah had called Caroline to come over, so she did as told. Rebekah had moved away from her family and was soon going to move in with Marcel. Caroline knocked on the door and Rebekah answered it. Rebekah smiled at her, but something about it felt off, the smile looked unintentional. Not to mention she was sweating when she has air conditioning on 24/7. Caroline ignored the funny feeling, and entered. Right after both her feet were in the house she felt like her head was about to explode, the pain was so bad, in fact, that she fell to the floor, when she looked up, she saw some women looking down at her, after that, she blacked out.
When she woke up, she found herself tied to a single person chair, which looked more like a throne, it was Rebekah's favourite chair. Something that she didn't understand, though, was that Rebekah was sitting uncomfortably on a couch opposite to her. She was accompanied by those women, who looked like they had bad intentions. "I'm sorry, Caroline." Rebekah whispered under her breath.
"What's happening? What is all of this?" Caroline had a million questions.
"Oh, where are my manners." A women said, judging by how she was sitting on a chair and the rest of the women were sitting on the ground, Caroline could tell that this woman was the head of this group, cult, she didn't know what to call it. She looked like she was in her early to mid thirties and was wearing a long gown. "I'm Nereida. These are my disciples. Allow me to answer your questions. Centuries ago, the Mikaelson's brutally destroyed our village, and now, finally, after centuries of waiting, we can finally have revenge." Nereida exclaimed with a plotting smile.
"What does this have to do with me?" Caroline asked, trying to break out of the binds of rope that tied her to the chair.
"We are performing a spell that will rob all vampires and werewolves of their power, but sadly, the spell has a catch." She continued, " All werewolves and vampires that have died in the past 15 years will come back to life, their power will still accompany them." Caroline squinted in confusion, she still couldn't understand her connection with any of this. "Our problem, is Niklaus Mikaelson, and your corelation with all of this is that you are his weakness. Someone was kind enough to inform us." The woman looked at Rebekah, who looked towards the ground, her face filled with guilt. "We are performing the spell today, you two will be our hostiles." The woman untied their hands but kept their feet chained and chucked some blood bags to both of them and went upstairs with her disciples.
"What the hell, Rebekah?!" Caroline scram. The only other time she had felt so betrayed by someone was when Tyler broke her heart. She was furious.
"I didn't want to be trapped alone here." She said. Her face still dripping of guilt.
"That's your excuse?! You didn't wanna be trapped alone? Your the biggest pathetic bitch in the world!" She spat at her.
Caroline might be her best friend and all, but she wasn't having any of this. " You know what? I did the right thing. You deserve this." Rebekah said. Caroline would tell her just how stupid she was, but she was too busy trying to escape, even though she knew she had no hope.
The Mikaelson Mansion
"Elijah!" Freya called. She found her brother immediately and said," Rebekah's not picking up any of my calls. I asked Marcel and he said when he went to her house she never answered the door." Elijah instantly freaked out.
"Relax. She's probably fine." Kol said out of nowhere.
"I'll go check on her." Elijah got up but was stopped by Freya.
"No. It could be Nereida. If you go there and it's her, you won't come back." Elijah wisely sat back down. "I'll call her friend Caroline, maybe she's with her." Freya dialed the number and put the call on speaker.
Caroline stopped trying to escape, and was sitting there helplessly, ignoring Rebekah's presence. Right then, her phone rang from her jeans pocket, she looked down towards it with hope, and stood as high as she could so the phone would get closer to her tied up palm. Luckily, she was able to pull it out and answer the call before it was too late. She ducked her head down to her hand and said, "Hello." She tried to be as silent as possible.
"Oh, hi there. I'm just wondering if you know where Rebekah is. I'm her sister, Freya." She exclaimed, trying to sound as professional as possible.
"Oh my God, please help. Me and Rebekah are trapped at her house by some women I don't know what's going on!" Caroline stated in one breath.
"Oh my God. Look, we'll be there as soon as possible." Freya said.
Caroline smiled subtly and looked towards the sky, hopeful. This moment of relief was shattered when she saw Nereida furiously standing across the room. She quickly walked towards her and snatched the phone from her and said, "We will not leave you alive. There is no point in coming here, we're taking them somwhere else." With that, she cut the call and looked at Caroline, "You don't like following the rules? Now you pay the price." She stretched her arm outward and faced her palm towards Caroline, who was currently screaming, the pain could be heard in her voice.
"No! Please STOP!" Rebekah scram. It was her fault, she dragged Caroline into this mess and she was unable to do anything, this infuriated her even more because she was an Original, yet she was so powerless against these witches. After a few minutes, Rebekah and Caroline heard a vehicle pull up outside and they didn't know what to think of it. Right then, Nereida came downstairs with her cult.
"Get up." She said, as she free'd their wrists which were about to suffocate only to cuff them again when the two were on their feet. She mumbled something to the rest of the women in some unkown language, then two of the women guided Caroline and Rebekah to a van waiting for them outside.
Ok guys! Don't forget to fav and review! Bye.
