"I was so happy to come to this time... Sougo… I'm happy to have been your comrade…!"
"The two worlds… are now in your hands."
"The world is yours to reign over… Now and forever."
"It's been a privilege to meet you, my younger self…"
"July 2019, the boring days of school are over, and a relaxing summer vacation has begun.
"Morning, Sougo!"
"Good morning…"
An elder man comes out of their kitchen; apron and all, greeting his great nephew. The latter coming downstairs in full cyan-colored pajamas, groggily rubbing his eyes. He enters the small dining room and sat down the small chair. He picks up one of the toasted loaves in a plate and a butter knife to scrape the butter along the bread.
"You woke up rather late today, Sougo. You're going to be late; you know?"
"It's summer vacation, uncle…" The young man says before taking a bite into his buttered toast. Savoring the warm crisp of the bread mixed in with the subtle saltiness of the butter.
"Oh, really? In that case, I'll go out and buy some ingredients later in case your friends come over."
Unknown to them, a familiar figure stands outside of their home, a man wearing a strange of set of clothes, stands above an electrical post. Observing the two from afar. He raises his right arm, revealing a strange book littered with clock-like decorations, the front of the cover reading:
Oma Advent Calendar.
The man opens the book, its contents revealing all to be nothing but blank. He sighs and closes it once more and continues observing the pair at a distance.
"Ordinary schoolboy, Tokiwa Sougo. Destined to become the all-powerful great overlord and ruler of time, Oma ZI-O…"
He turns around, away from the Tokiwa household and drops down from the electrical post, swiftly but quietly as if he didn't touch the ground at all.
"…Or that's how it used to be".
He lets out a sigh and took a few more meters away from the household of his former demon king before his scarf engulfed him and disappeared.
Shortly after, Sougo steps out of his house and grabs his bike. He examines the bike for a bit to check for any problems before mounting it. His uncle peeks out of the entrance of the house.
"Ah! Sougo, don't forget. If you invite Myokoin and Tsukuyomi, be sure to invite Hora and Heure too!"
"I will, uncle! Don't worry!"
Sougo waves goodbye before taking off and leaving. His uncle waving at him as well with a smile.
"Young kids these days… Always in a hurry. Oh right! I have to hurry and buy the stuff as well!" He says as he heads back into the house and prepares as well.
Meanwhile, Sougo rides along the street roads. School was out so there were less bikers and other cars around which made his trip much easier. Everyone must be inside their homes relaxing and letting the day go by as usual.
Sougo basked in the calmness of a near-empty road. He was completely enamored to the relaxing sights. He would soon turn to the direction of where he was going. To his surprise, someone was in his sights only a few meters away from crashing into him. His eyes widened and immediately steered himself away from the person. His imbalance on the bike caused him to be forcibly offed from his bike and fell into the hard concrete.
"Ow, ow, ow, ow…."
Sougo nursed his head in response to the sudden pain on his head after the crash. He, however, immediately brushed it off to look towards the person he almost hit.
"Homura, are you okay?"
"Yes. I'm fine.
Sougo, upon inspection, saw two young girls who looked to be in their second or third year of high school. He immediately stood up despite his condition and started bowing repeatedly and quickly.
"I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I'm sorry! It won't happen again, I swear!"
It was indeed two young girls. One who had an unusual pink twin-tailed hair who looked extremely timid and another one with flowing jet-black hair that screams elegance and class.
"It's fine. Don't worry about it." The one with the black hair speaks up. Despite talking to a higher-up, her voice reflected that of someone who acts much older.
"Let's go, Madoka."
Sougo stood still as he watches the two leave, slightly feeling bad that he didn't do anything to make up for what he did. Slowly, he returned to his bike and checked its condition before continuing his ride.
"Definitely not what a king should do…" He mutters to himself.
Eventually, he reached his destination. His friends, Myokoin Geiz and Alpina Tsukuyomi waiting for him there. They looked slightly irritated though.
"You're late by about five minutes, Tokiwa." Geiz commented, looking at his watch whilst tapping his foot on the ground.
"A 'King' shouldn't be late, you know? A King has to be timely and proper." Tsukuyomi added. Crossing her arms and pouting.
"I know. I wasn't looking where I was going and I crashed and almost hit two girls earlier…" Sougo, scratching his head and looking away from his friends in embarrassment.
"You almost hit someone?!" The two raised their voice in unison. Geiz quickly fixed his throat and placed his hands on his hips. "Did you at least apologize? Do something to make up for it?"
"Well, no. They quickly left and one of them didn't seem interested in it at all…" He looks down in disappointment in himself again. He would quickly soon raise his head after. "By the way, where's Heure and Hora?"
"Oh, Hora and Heure took off on their own. Hora wanted to buy… something and wanted Heure in on it." Tsukuyomi replied.
"Oh… Well, let's go then!" Sougo waved them to follow him. The two nodded and went along. Sougo, however, only had a few steps before he was immediately greeted by a tall man.
The tall man looked strange. Not in the regular way that the word may be used for someone. The man was much stranger. The man looked like he walked right out of an old tele-drama with his old-fashioned coat, grayscale colors and slight glitches, his skin looking like it was painted on and surreal, as if he didn't fit with the world at all. His face shadowed by his hat.
"Where are you going?" The man asked. His voice raspy and sounded just as glitchy as he looked.
A drop of sweat fell from Sougo's face. His stature switched form relaxed to being much more tensed and with sight hint of fright. Tsukuyomi was the same but Geiz took a more cautious stance.
"We're... just going. To hangout, yeah!" Sougo replied.
"Where are you going?" The man asked again.
"Um..., We're-"
"Where are you going?" The man repeated. Sounding like a broken record.
"Where are you going?"
"Where are you going?"
"WhErE aRe YoU GoInG?"
The man repeated his words over and over. His body shivering and moving in unusual ways. His body eventually contorted in various unorthodox ways, the cracking of his bones being very audible. Sougo and the others could only watch in disgust. The man's entire body stretched and conformed until his shape was barely human.
Suddenly, the world around Sougo and his friends started to distort as well. Sougo and Tsukuyomi, staying close to Geiz as the world started to lose its color and resemble 1990s Japan. Various old-fashioned items fell from the sky as well. Sougo and his friends barely dodging them.
"What is going on here?!" Sougo turned to strange man. His eyes widening when he witnessed that the man had now grown three times their height with malformed limbs, and a wide sickening smile staring before them.
"…Help…" Sougo could only let out a small voice.
BANG
Suddenly, a speeding projectile hits the strange man. It screeches loud and looked towards the direction of the attacker. Sougo and the others did as well.
A young girl step towards them, wielding a handgun. Sougo was in shock when he noticed that the girl stepping to them now was the same girl as before.
"It's you...!" Sougo remarked. Tsukuyomi and Geiz, looking at him in confusion.
The girl didn't say anything towards them but muttered only to herself. Firing more rounds towards the strange man. She clicked her tongue.
"Why are you here…?"
The girl stretched out her arm. She closed her eyes and channeled her strength. She opened them once again, expecting something to happen. And yet…
"What?"
Her eyes widened in response. Rather, lack of response. She examined herself and saw that nothing had changed to her.
The strange man, or creature, noticed this and leapt towards her. Hoping to catch her off guard.
"Watch out!" Geiz exclaimed. The girl only had a few seconds to react. She closed her eyes and raised her arms, expecting the worst.
Except nothing happened. She opened her eyes once more and saw a man had stopped her attacker, his hands firmly gripped onto the creature's own. The man then tightened his grip and threw him away.
"Who are…?" The girl could only let out a few words. Sougo and the others were confused as well.
"Going after a little girl? How despicable."
The man then pulled out a strange belt out of nowhere and slapped it on his waist, creating the strap.
BEYONDRIVER!
He turns to Sougo and the others before bowing like a noble. "It's been a while, my demon king. Now, if you'll excuse me... I must carry out my duty."
He pulls outs a smaller device from his pocket. It was silver and green and had an image on the front of what seemed like a mask. He presses a button on top of the device and a small holography appeared in front of it. He placed it on a slot on the belt afterwards.
WOZ! ACTION!
A loud techno music played from the belt. A large smartwatch-like holography appears behind the man. The girl stepped a few meters back. The man raised his hand before pulling the attachment on the belt. Closing it.
"Henshin."
PROJECTION! FUTURE TIME! AWESOME! ERA! FUTURE! KAMEN RIDER WOZ! WOZ!
The man had transformed into a silver-armored warrior. The shiny armor decorated in several neon green colored parts and watch-like motifs.
"Who are you? W-W-hO AaRe YoUu" The creature exclaimed.
"Rejoice! The prophet who reads the past and the future! A writer of a once noble history! Servant to the all-powerful overlord of time, Oma ZI-O…!"
The man remarked. Pacing around, clutching a strange book on his hand.
"His name is … Kamen Rider Woz! Prostate yourself to a noble watcher of time!"
