Heceryon looked around. He definitely was no longer in the Imperial City. In fact, the place looked like nothing he had ever seen. It had extremely tall buildings of glass, and quite tall ones of grey flat stone. And there were street dogs all around. They looked a bit like Imperial Guard dogs, the same muscular shape, the same fierce eyes. The sky was bright blue and cloudless. It was spring.

Heceryon's first thought was to test his magical powers; and to his horror, he found out that he couldn't cast even a simple fireball. The energy just didn't come. "Well, there is always alchemy", he thought gloomily. The herbs were possibly different from those of Cyrodiil but that was not a big problem.

He thought of what he needed for the moment: A lodging arrangement, a place to eat at, books telling about this world, money… Possibly a job, he could always be a gardener. He grimaced in distaste, that was not the most suitable occupation for a pure blood Altmer like himself. And then he had to find a way to return to his world. A war was brewing, a conflict in the making between the Elves of Summerset Isles and the empire. He would definitely take the side of his brothers in their separatist ambitions.

Heceryon decided to have a stroll and soon found himself in a cozy park. There was a small lake nearby, and some man trying to fish there. Soon he came across a brown building under the sign "Internet café". He came inside and saw strange machines. People were sitting in front of the screens doing who knows what. There were boards with letters of the Imperial language. He came to one such workplace and politely addressed the girl sitting there, - Hello, could I possibly use this?

- The computer? Oh sure, but not for long.

Heceryon took her place at the computer and soon found that there was something called the Internet, a network to exchange knowledge. He couldn't stop reading the news, trying to find out as much as possible about this strange world. The country was called the United Kingdom, and the city he resided in was London.
