A/N: So yeah, um, I'm in a Stony mood so why not. Also, I changed my username (in case that hasn't registered yet) from what it was, malfoyfangirl, to GetLoki'dAndStayThatWay, so don't be surprised if I use the name occasionally. Also, might be posting an April Fool's Day Thorki oneshot soon, so keep an eye out for that as well as a new highschool AU called The Way You Fit In (Is Through Music). Okay I'm done talking, on to the story!

Chapter One: If You Leave, Don't Leave Now

They were arguing again. The others could hear it. Peter inched closer to Clint on the couch, and the archer let him, knowing the kid thought of him as an uncle. Nat paid the argument no attention, only sparing it a long-suffering sigh. Thor visibly winced a few times but otherwise didn't seem to care. Bruce didn't even look up from his papers. Loki merely closed his eyes and started humming something quietly. Phil was out, so he was spared the now-common sound. Clint himself just shook his head and went back to his book.

"I hate listening to them fight," Peter said after a moment.

"They're your dads, kid, there's a reason," Loki replied.

"Leave him alone. It's bad enough that the two of them argue all the time, we don't need to drag Peter further into all this," Nat said, casting a cool glare Loki's way. Loki either didn't see it or chose to ignore it, instead settling himself more comfortably in Thor's lap.

"Can't someone go try and mediate it?" Peter asked.

"We've tried, Peter, we all have. Nothing works. They don't listen to any of us. They have to work it out on their own," Bruce said. Peter sighed.

Clint ruffled his hair. "Leave them be, kid," Clint advised. "It'll stop eventually."

Peter still looked doubtful.

"Tony, enough!" Steve shouted angrily. Tony merely rolled his eyes. Honestly, he didn't know what Steve was so worked up about. All he'd done was get drunk, and that had been an accident.

"Why are you so bound determined to drag this out?" Tony demanded. "I got drunk. I passed out. I woke up the next morning in bed with a hangover to find you nowhere in sight like usual 'cause you get up at stupid o'clock. This isn't a big deal."

"Tony! Do you remember nothing of what happened?" Steve asked. Tony snorted.

"No. Of course not. I was drunk, remember?"

Steve sighed. "Tony! You are such a pain in the ass!"

"I still don't see why you're making this such a huge deal!" Tony shot back.

"Tony, you very nearly slept with someone who wasn't me!" Steve yelled. That stopped Tony in his tracks.

"W-what?"

"You heard me," Steve spat.

"I don't do that anymore. Not since I started dating you!" Tony was actually confused. "How did I get so drunk I did that?"

"You tell me," Steve growled. "I had to pull you out of that bar before you actually took her home."

"I...Steve, you of all people should know I didn't mean anything by it! I was drunk! I would never do that to you!" Tony insisted. "My days of being a playboy are over! They have been since New York! Since I met you! It's been ten years, Steve, why do you think I'd start again now? When I'm a married man and am the happiest I've been in a long time because we have our son back and we're together? Steve, why is there any question as to why I did that? I was drunk!"

Steve sighed, defeated. "You're right," he muttered. "You're right."

Tony softened at the tired expression on Steve's face. "Hey," he said, reaching out and lifting Steve's head to meet his own eyes. "It's me. I'm here, I'm happy. I'm with you. And I know that being with me isn't exactly a picnic, but if you're going to leave...don't leave now, okay? I need you. Peter needs you."

Steve smiled and pulled Tony into a gentle kiss. "I know. I'm not going anywhere."

Tony smiled back and murmured, "Just kiss me again."

Steve obeyed.

Back in the lounge room, it had suddenly become rather quiet.

"They stopped fighting," Peter noted.

"Told you," Clint teased. Peter scowled at him. Clint just grinned and went back to his book.

"I wonder what it was about this time," Thor wondered aloud.

"Who knows?" Nat shrugged. "They argue about the smallest things."

"I wish they'd stop," Peter sighed. "It gets really stressful having dads that are constantly fighting about something or other."

"You've got the rest of us, too, Peter," Bruce said.

"We've got your back, kid," Loki added. He'd grown fond of the spiderling.

"I know." Peter smiled. "You guys really make this a family."

"We're your family, kiddo," Clint said. "Get used to it."

"I already am."

A/N: So yeah, Peter cuteness. Forgot to mention: Thorki, Clint/Coulson, and Bruce/Natasha are implied. No idea how long this is going to be, sorry the chapter is so short. Review please! Hope you enjoyed!
