Carrie White sits in the darkness on a tombstone, in a graveyard, her hair covering her face. Eyes closed. Hands resting on her knees as dirt, grass, sticks and rocks hover around her. There's a gun shot in the distance, followed by the snapping of twigs under footsteps then the sound of a gun being cocked.
"It's time for the queen to step down from her throne." a voice says.
The dirt, grass, sticks and rocks fall to the ground and Carrie opens her eyes to see through her long straight red hair an officer of the law standing before her, aiming his gun at her, "Are you going to shoot me, officer?" Carrie asks in a monotone voice.
"I'm going to send you to hell, where you belong, demon seed." the officer says, "And that's Officer Downe, to you."
"Aren't you supposed to read me my Miranda Rights first, officer?" Carrie asks cocking her head.
"You have the right to remain… dead!" Officer Downe says before firing but as the bullet cuts through the air, Carrie just stares at it and the bullet slows down before coming to a complete stop, hovering a centimeter in front of her face.
Officer Downe cocks his head, "That's a new one." The bullet turns around and flies at Officer Downe, impaling itself in his chest. Officer Downe winces in pain before firing another shot but again Carrie turns it against him and the bullet pierces his skin.
"Hmm… You don't die as easily as the rest of them." Carrie says.
"How observant of you." Officer Downe says raising his gun, again, but Carrie wrings her hands and the barrel of Officer Downe's gun bends as he pulls the trigger causing the gun to blow up in his hand, taking off his fingers.
"I grow tired of your games." Carrie floats up into the night sky, straightening her legs out, "Why don't you play with some friends of mine?" Carrie tilts her head back and raises her arms into the air. The gesture seems to be causing the earth the rumble as the dead awaken and rise from their graves, covered in dirt.
"Friends of yours or, more rather, by the looks of it, relatives?" Officer Downe says.
As they come out of the ground, revealing their rotted skin, exposed bones and brains and organs and dripping blood everywhere, the zombies shamble and drag themselves toward Officer Downe. One of the zombies lurches at him but he easily pushes it off then punches the next one in the face. The third one grabs him from behind but Officer Downe flips it over his shoulder, rips off it's head and punts it into the surrounding trees but as the zombies close in on Officer Downe, he becomes overpowered. They pile on top him, forcing him to the ground. Carrie throws her head back and laughs with her arms still out.
Carrie's attention is brought back to the graveyard when one zombie's head explodes, which is then quickly followed by another. The zombies push themselves off Officer Downe to look around the graveyard, as does Carrie, to discover gun shots ringing out from the trees, taking out more of the zombies.
"No cheating!" Carrie shouts swiping her arms out over the trees catching them on fire.
The flames grow and burn down the trees, quickly. Officer Gable, Carter, Fritch, and Hanso just barely escape the rubble, tumbling out of the burning trees. The zombies turn their attention on the four-some and shamble towards them. After regaining their footing, the four-some continue firing at the zombies.
"Come on, team! Let's put these rotting sons of bitches back in the ground!" Hanso says firing at a nearby zombie, blowing it's head off.
"Where's Downe?!" Gable yells.
"Where'd you think, rook? He's fucking dead, again." Fritch says firing at another zombie.
As Gable cautiously approaches a zombie, that's hunched over, he sees it's dinning on the corpse of none other than Officer Downe. The zombie whips around giving Gable a scare, squeezing the trigger on instinct and blowing it's head off.
After Gable wipes the blood from his eyes, he looks down to see a motionless Officer Downe. Gable picks up his walkie talkie, "He's cold"
Back at the station, the scientist responds, "Reading you loud and clear." his voice moves away from the walkie talkie, "Alright folks! You heard him, let's revive this son of a bitch!"
Back in the graveyard, Fritch, Carter and Hanso are firing wildly at the zombies, who have them surrounded. Fritch's gun clicks as he pulls the trigger then he throws it to the ground, "They better revive him fast or we're finished!" Fritch says punching a zombie in the face. Fritch and Carter run out of ammo too and are also forced into hand to hand combat with the zombies. Gable looks up at Carrie, aiming his gun at her. She just smiles.
"Rook, no!" Hanso screams, "Didn't you see what she did to Super Cop?" Hanso is grabbed by a zombie but he manages to flip it over his shoulder and kick it in the head.
Gable keeps his gaze and his gun aimed at Carrie as a zombie stalks beside him. He grits his teeth at her as the zombies gets closer. The zombie launches itself at Gable. Just as it grabs him by the shoulder it's head blows up, splattering blood all over him, covering him from head to toe. Gable whips around pointing his gun at a fully revived Officer Downe.
"You might want to point that thing at the enemy, kid." Officer Downe doesn't even flinch as Gable fires in his direction. Officer Downe looks over his shoulder to see a dead zombie laying behind him then looks back at Gable, "Nice shootin, Tex."
"What are you doing just standing around, Downe? Take out this telekinetic psycho bitch!" Hanso says fighting off the zombies.
Officer Downe bends over to pick up his twisted gun. "She killed my baby."
"What are you going to do about it?" Gable says tossing his gun toward Officer Downe. Officer Downe catches it in one hand. They nod at each other then Gable picks up a rock and tosses it at Carrie, hitting her in the shoulder. "Come get me, if you can!" Gable yells.
"What the fuck are you doing, now, Gable?!" Hanso yells.
"Follow my lead!" Gable says.
The foursome start chucking rocks, sticks and even zombie parts at Carrie, leading her away from Officer Downe. Growing irritated by the second, Carrie uses her telekinetic ability to pick up Gable but before she can do anything she is stuck by a bullet in the lower back. Carrie and Gable fall to the ground with a hard thud. Hanso, Carter and Fritch check on Gable, while Officer Downe stands over Carrie, gun pointed at her head. "Any last requests?"
"Just…" Carrie says.
Officer Downe puts a bullet between her eyes before she can finish. "I don't negotiate with terrorists."
