DODGER AND RITA
The main thing that really bugs me is that Disney had rejected to include these 2 dogs as a Canon couple in the Disney universe. The reason being that they never FELL in love in o and c.
Here is why I think they should be included.
Whenever we see dodger with the others, Rita is always by his side, meaning that if anything dangerous were to happen, she would immediately take action and defend dodger from attack. If Oliver is with them, Rita would defend Oliver first and then dodger, cause since Dodge is an adult, he could defend himself and the others before tending to Oliver.
Rita's love for Oliver is so strong, that one might consider her being a mother figure to him, which is somewhat true, since we never see or hear anything about Oliver's Mom in the movie. On another note, after the initial adventure, Rita would want to watch Oliver grow up and mature into a healthy male tabby cat.
Dodger on the other hand could become Oliver's adoptive dad cause again we don't see or hear anything about Oliver's real dad. Dodger could also help train Ollie in street savoire fair, meaning Oliver could still be a part of the team while living with Jenny. While Dodge could train Oliver, Rita could supervise the training cause she knows how reckless dodger can be and if something goes wrong with Oliver, one of them needs to be ready to save, fight or defend Oliver from danger.
When defending or fighting to keep Oliver safe from harm, Dodger and Rita go all out with claws and teeth cause they look down at the cat as their own son and they don't want anything bad to happen to him.
When Oliver is with the company, the defense strategy changes. Rita is much more alert and quick to anger cause she is on the lookout for danger at any turn, dodger would remain cool, collected and calm until Oliver is in danger.
The protection circle is a defense strategy used by the company to keep Oliver safe. But if it fails, here's what would happen, Dodger would tell Rita to get Oliver out as fast as possible, to do that she immediately grabs Oliver and slings him onto her back, at which point she then uses her SALUKI SPEED to get Oliver outta there and off to a safe house or safe area in the city, meanwhile the other dogs including dodger could fight or try to compromise with whatever threat tried to attack Oliver. If the threat starts overpowering the company, then they too will retreat to the safe area or try to lure the threat away from Oliver.
During Oliver's time growing up, Dodger and Rita would grow closer together in forming a relationship between the 2, which is something Disney NEEDS to do
