AMY-ARE YOU-WAIT WHAT

Heartland-The Dude Ranch

She was the same person on the outside that she had been the night before, the exact same person. But everything else had changed irrevocably, and for possibly the first time she was thoroughly ecstatic about that fact. And yet the future still scared her beyond belief, the various possibilities filling her with both overflowing joy and terrible dread. She knew that she could take some solace in the fact that she was not alone in this endeavor. Ty had reacted to the point in the exact way that she had hoped that he would, be thrilled about the news. His enthusiasm had been addictive and most of the rest of the night had been lost in a very pleasurable sea of making love and celebration. The night had been so magical that she was of the ilk that wished it would never end, though she knew that all good things and all of that. She knew that she'd have her waking hours to herself as true to both his word and her own experience when Ty was sound asleep he was completely dead to the world. More than once during their marriage she had thanked her lucky stars about this fact, mostly because it allowed her to be able to get her morning routine done without waking him up. Sensing that it was late enough for them to be sleeping in she rather reluctantly slid out of bed and sat up, deciding that she had better find her clothes and slip them on before someone like Lou showed up to check up on them.

"Am I really that boring," Ty remarked with a clear hint of amusement in his voice as he edged one eyelid open, enough to see Amy sitting on the edge of the bed with her bare back to him, before he was greatly heartened to see her turn back to him and smile through the blush on her cheeks.

"Not even close Ty, but we should get up," Amy softly snickered back with a playful twinkle in her eyes as she felt him scoot himself across the bed and then wrap his arms around her waist, making a halfhearted attempt to pull her back towards him.

"Not to state the obvious here but…okay I will…why," Ty countered with an impatient frown as Amy at least made it appear as if she wasn't very glad that she was back in his arms before her composure slipped and she grinned sweetly.

"Because Ty," Amy fake pouted as she readily allowed Ty to pull her back under the covers, even going so far as to throw them back over the pair, before she laid her head back down onto the pillow so that the two could be face to face when they talked, at least when their lips weren't otherwise occupied.

"Going to have to do better than that Amy, besides…it's not like Lou's going to show up and kick us out if we're not back at Heartland in the next few hours," Ty reminded her with a sly smirk, that caused her to mirror him with one of her own as she often found it hard not to smile when he was beaming one in her general direction, before she leaned in and kissed him again and then spoke up softly.

"I know but…we have work to do, the horses need…," Amy remarked with a slight groan, as she sounded more like she was trying and failing to find a reason for the two of them to have to get out of bed, before she was silenced when Ty slid his free hand down her back from her shoulders to her backside and gave it a soft squeeze.

"They'll be fine Amy, trust me…and remember you told Lou that you wanted to spend some time alone with me," Ty whispered into her ear as he pulled her close and she freely allowed her body to meld against his as her off hand slid around to the small of his back and got him back for his pinching of her rear end.

"Well yeah, but…," Amy drawled back with a teasing rolling of her eyes and subtle groan before she poured herself into their next kiss and reveled in the physical contact between them. Sex had always been something that had interested her to some degree but also brought with it a fair amount of uncertainty if not fear. She had been fearful but excited on her wedding night and much to her great relief and joy Ty had made figured that out and made the night one of the greatest nights of her life. It wasn't just the physical aspect of sex with Ty that she had come to truly enjoy but more the emotional connection, the intimacy of it all that she could only ever dream of sharing with one person, Ty.

"She's smart Amy…well…most of the time," Ty begrudgingly admitted with a small yawn as the kiss ended and they went back to staring at each other across the shared pillow before she playfully smacked him on the shoulder with the back of her hands, with Ty going so far as to feign injury.

"Hey…," Amy spat out back at him with a fake look of shock and anger in her eyes before anything more from her lips was cut off when she dissolved into a fit of laughter through the kisses that Ty then assaulted her with as he began to vigorously tickle her at the same time. It was several silent moments later, punctuated only by their combined large gasps of air, before either could speak again.

"Sorry, but we both know that she'll give us all the time that we need, besides that…what's wrong with us spending a little quiet time together…you know, before…," Ty reminded her with a subtle smile as he reached up and gently brushed some hair off of her face and pinned it back behind her ear, earning him a soft blush and gentle smile.

"Before the…baby…yeah, wow…it's still so…wow," Amy tried to say to finish Ty's thought herself before the whole weight of what was to come began to really bear down onto her and she found it hard to speak in anything but softly uttered exclamations.

"Yeah I…wow, parents," Ty started to say back to try and reassure her before he too felt the future and what it could mean and he was reduced to the realization of what was to come for them both.

"It's really happening…right, I didn't just dream last night and…you're happy about this…right," Amy asked softly as she quickly shifted gears and laid bare her fear that things had gone differently the night before and Ty had not reacted as well if not better than she could have hoped that he had, tears threatening to form in her eyes as she spoke.

"What…of course I am…scared out of my mind sure but…yes Amy, I'm happy about this, beyond happy, in fact I don't think that I've been this happy since the day that you agreed to marry me," Ty began to answer with a firm look of confidence in his gaze before the façade cracked and he admitted his fears though not without relaying to her that he was thrilled beyond what he was capable of expressing just then.

"That was a good day wasn't it," Amy admitted happily as she took a quick jaunt down memory lane about the night by the river that Ty had proposed to her after they had rescued the wild horses, all in all a very good day in her book.

"No, it was a great day," Ty countered with a poorly hidden smirk as he reached a hand up and gentle rubbed a couple of tears off of Amy's cheek with the pad of his thumb before she leaned in and kissed him again, with it taking several seconds before either needed to come up for air.

"Yes…yes it was, but now comes the hard part you know," Amy whispered softly as she stared deeply into his eyes and could then think of nothing else than to kiss him again, so she did.

"Really, how so, I can't see Lou or Jack being anything but insanely happy about this," Ty pondered aloud as he tilted his head forward until his forehead was resting on her hairline while he pulled her into a tighter embrace and was glad that she offered no resistance to any of it, more like she seemed to melt into him instead.

"I know they'll be happy, it's just…you know how things are, we all know each other's business, nobody can keep anything a secret for very long and…I just…," Amy said softly with a clear tone of relief in her voice as she turned her head to one side so that her words weren't muffled against his chest before she trailed off, unsure of exactly how to put her thoughts into words.

"Don't want them to know, why…," Ty asked with a confused and concerned expression as he slackened his grip on Amy enough so that he could get a good look at her face as she then answered.

"I…this is our happy day, our miracle…I don't know, I just…I like just the two of us knowing for a couple of days or so…let this all sink in and become real, before Lou and Grandpa and my Dad find out and everything just spins out of control and…," Amy slowly and nervously replied as it was clear to Ty that she had put a lot of thought into what she was saying and he stayed silent, as truthfully he mostly agreed with her and was in no mood to do anything that she wasn't okay with on the topic of her pregnancy.

"They go on and on trying to tell you what to do…without ever asking for your opinion or approval…yeah Amy, I've noticed," Ty laughed back with a warm and relaxed smile, one that Amy soon copied, before the two couldn't look at each other any longer without letting out a good laugh.

"They're suffocating," Amy groaned softly as she rolled her eyes and frowned before she once again buried her face into Ty's chest and tried to block out the memories that flooded into her mind of when members of her family had taken things over and went too far.

"Only because they care…okay, Jack and Lou yeah…your Dad…well, hell…I never really know what he's thinking, or care to," Ty offered as he tried to bolster her spirits as best he could and added onto it by rubbing his free hand up and down her back in what he hoped was a soothing gesture.

"Neither do I…most of the time, but actually I'd rather not talk about my father right now, okay," Amy said with a nervous and almost sick to her stomach expression as she finally could no longer look Ty in the eye and instead stared over his shoulder to the window, silently wishing that it was not morning and actually still dark outside so that there was no pressure for them to be anywhere.

"Fair enough, so…aside from keeping this miraculous news to ourselves for a couple of days…what else…did you want to talk about…exactly," Ty drawled out back with a quite amused and quite crooked little grin as he pulled Amy back closer to him and titled his head to one side as he only stopped talking so that he could begin to tease Amy with kisses to the side of her neck, which made her squirm.

"You know…when we started talking I had all of these things that I thought we really should talk about…and then," Amy started to answer with an impatient frown before for reasons unbeknownst to her she suddenly found herself unable to focus her attention on anything but Ty's hand as he slowly slid it down her side to her hip.

"And now…," Ty huskily whispered into her ear as he kept her close with another teasing squeeze of her rear end as he whispered his words into her ear and marveled at their effect on her as it was several silent moments before she could answer him.

"Now…well…all of those good things…they just…seem to have entirely slipped my mind," Amy forced herself to say as she struggled to get and then keep her thoughts in order as Ty was in a groove of doing things to her that would often end with her losing herself to the euphoria of their time together.

"I guess finding out that you're pregnant can really mess with your head," Ty surmised as he rolled over onto his back and pulled a perfectly willing Amy right along with him so that she ended up lying across his top half with her head coming to rest on his chest and herself draped across his body.

"You don't know the half of it Ty, I was going crazy trying to get you alone for more than five minutes so that I could tell you about the baby," Amy told him in between taking several shaky breaths as she still vividly remembered the day before and trying to keep her cool and not freak out after several aborted attempts to get Ty all to herself so that she could share the good news with him.

"I'm sorry Amy, if I had known then I would have made the time," Ty admitted with a sheepish smile and clear tone of regret in his voice as he busied himself by holding her close with one hand while with the other he gently brushed his fingers through her hair.

"Okay…yeah but, then it wouldn't really have been a surprise and I wouldn't have gotten to see the look on your face when I told you like I did last night," Amy relented with a frustrated little pout on her lips as she propped herself up so that she could look Ty right in the eye instead of just staring off into space, as she needed to see that he was taking her words fully to heart.

"Well I certainly was not expecting…this…last night," Ty shrugged a bit as he tried not to laugh or be to forward with her in the moment as he then pulled her to the side a bit so that she was then lying directly on top of him, the tips of her hair tickling his chest.

"Oh yeah, and just what were you expecting, huh," Amy demanded with what she tried to portray as a flash of anger in her words, even though in truth she had no malice or unease towards him in one cell of her body at that exact moment, as she lightly poked him in the chest with the tip of her index finger a couple of times.

"Well…some big news about a new horse or…maybe some trip or something but…Amy…," Ty offered up with a less than hopeful look to him as now that he gave voice to the first options to pop into his head he realized that none of them really sounded that plausible to him and he felt a bit stupid at even bringing them up before his voice faltered noticeably as Amy leaned down and began to place a few kisses on his neck and chest.

"Really…you don't like it," Amy whispered softly with her lips just centimeters off of Ty's chest as she glanced up at him out of the tops of her eyes while her hands slowly slid down his sides until they got to his waist and threatened to go lower.

"Well I…," Ty tried to say to clarify the situation but he was finding suddenly for it to be very difficult to put more than a few words together because of what Amy was doing as his hands found her sides and kept her from sliding down underneath the blankets just yet.

"No more talking Ty," Amy told him point blank with a very serious and fierce look of determination in her gaze before she slid under the covers with a very randy grin.

"Yes dear," Ty could only barely get out of his mouth before Amy took charge of the fun between them and it would be a few more hours before either would see the rest of the family, both wearing happy grins, happy for more than one reason.

Heartland-A Few Days Later

True to their agreement neither had said anything about the pregnancy to any member of the family, though it had been hard. Amy at times had thought that Lou was giving her odd looks, as if she suspected that her baby sister was keeping something from her, but a few moments later the look was always gone. Jack had seemingly just been happy that Ty and Amy had appeared to be in good moods and stayed working hard. The new year had brought with it several new horses for Amy to work with, though she did make a note to keep herself from overdoing it or taking any unnecessary risks, as Ty had pointed out every time that they had been in the same room since he found out about her pregnancy. They had kept themselves from fighting about it only by taking a drive to Ty's old trailer so that they could have some privacy. Much to her relief Amy had never been one for drinking alcohol so that being unable to have any while pregnant was not really a challenge.

"Mrs. Bell…what are you doing here," Amy called out with a tone of surprise as she had just finished brushing Spartan out and had been about to go back into the house when her old friend had pulled up in her cart, Sugarfoot doing the pulling.

"I was just out giving ole Sugarfoot here a bit of exercise when I realized that I was close to Heartland and thought that we'd drop by, we didn't come at a bad time did we," Mrs. Bell happily answered with a bit of an exasperated little sigh and a weak smile as she looked first at Amy before turning back to her very beloved horse, who seemed happy to be at Heartland.

"Oh no…I was just finishing up for the day is all, but if you need something I'm free," Amy admitted with a small gesture back towards the barn full of horses before she seemed to be unsure of what to do with her hands and so she resorted to sliding both into her pockets.

"Oh no, I wouldn't want to be a bother, that husband of yours wouldn't be around…by any chance," Mrs. Bell softly tried to shuffle the question off of the table with a weak smile as she turned away from Amy a bit and started to walk back towards Sugarfoot when she stopped suddenly.

"Is there something wrong with Sugarfoot," Lou asked worriedly as she hurried over and knelt down beside the aging horse to gently brush her fingers through his mane, which he seemed to like as he turned his head towards her.

"I don't think so but…he's been a little sluggish the past few days and I just thought that perhaps…Ty could take a look at him," Mrs. Bell answered with a clearly worried tone to her words and nervous look to her actions as she turned back and walked over to Sugarfoot and leaned over and gave him a hug around his neck.

"I'm sure he'd be happy to…I'll go see if he's free," Amy relayed with a slightly relieved but somewhat anxious smile as she turned on her heels and started to head back towards the barn before Mrs. Bell spoke up again.

"Oh Lou can do that right, can't you Lou," Mrs. Bell stated with a pleasing but yet oddly firmly tone of voice and sugary sweet smile, one that both sisters felt at the same time comfortable and scared about, as she stepped away from Sugarfoot and laid a hand on Lou's shoulder.

"Well uh, yeah but…," Lou started to argue as she fought against the smile that Mrs. Bell was sending her way before Amy saved her just as she felt her resolve falling away.

"Really, it's no problem, I'll just…," Amy pointed out with a nervous and shaky smile as she gestured back towards the barn and the loft and even went so far as to take a few steps in that direction before Mrs. Bell let go of Lou and walked over, taking her hand.

"You need to rest up honey, take it easy…a woman in your condition shouldn't push herself to hard," Mrs. Bell advised her with a worried look in her eyes and supportive smile on her face as she pulled a visibly confused looking Amy into a warm hug before she patted her lightly on the shoulder before it all went south in the span of a single human heartbeat.

"In her condition…Amy, what is she talking about," Lou asked aloud with a look of great concern as the truth was beginning to dawn on her mind but she had not quite gotten to the totality of it quite yet, leaving Amy to openly squirm.

"Er…um, you know Lou…I uh," Amy began to stutter and stammer back, her face fully flushed in a very deep blush, as she slid her hands in and out of her pockets and tried to look anywhere but at her older sister, who was studying her very intently.

"Oops," Mrs. Bell groaned out softly, a completely embarrassed expression on her face, as she immediately knew that she'd crossed a line and let the truth slip out unintentionally, while Amy was on pins and needles waiting for the other shoe to drop.

"AMY," Lou cried out about as loudly as she could, causing both Amy and Mrs. Bell to feel that their eardrums were about to tear, with a totally incredulous look of shock as she balled her hands up into fists and stomped her foot angrily on the ground, glaring at her baby sister the entire time.

"Uh oh…er…sorry Lou I," Amy fought to say even that as she knew that she was screwed and that her secret was out but at that moment her mind was entirely blank as to what to do or say to her big sister.

"Come with me, NOW," Lou declared forcefully as she stormed across the space in between them, took Amy by the hand and determinedly pulled her off towards the house, no doubt to spread the news to anyone and everyone therein.

"Guess she didn't know," Mrs. Bell shrugged with a slightly pained expression, as it was clear that she had not intended to spill the beans about Amy's pregnancy, after having spent a few silent moments watching a visibly nervous and anxious Amy being dragged into the house by her irate older sister.

"She didn't know what," Ty softly wondered aloud as he walked out of the barn and up to Mrs. Bell just as he heard her words and was completely confused as to what she meant.

"I'm afraid that I may have let the cat out of the bag so to speak," Mrs. Bell sheepishly admitted with a worried look up at Ty, as if she expected him to be upset with her even though he hadn't a clue what she was talking about.

"About what," Ty asked aloud with a confused look on his face as he turned away from Mrs. Bell to look for Amy, who he had just seen walk out of the barn moments before.

"I seem to have let the cat out of the bag about Amy being pregnant, sorry dear," Mrs. Bell answered with a subtle smile of admission and apology as she reached a hand up and lightly began to pat Ty on the shoulder, as he for a few seconds stood there in a kind of stunned silence, his mouth opening and closing without any sounds coming out.

"What, how did you…I mean, uh…did you need something," Ty nervously tried to say back calmly though he failed miserably before he admitted defeat and as delicately as possible endeavored to find out how Mrs. Bell had known that Amy was pregnant.

"I know more than I let on Mr. Borden…but you really should get in there and rescue Amy before Lou really gets going," Mrs. Bell declared, suddenly looking extremely lucid and making Ty honestly wonder if she had actually done it all on purpose as a push in what she felt was the right direction for the young couple, before she turned to Ty and smiled sweetly at him.

"That's a…good idea," Ty mumbled out nervously under his breath as he struggled to decide what to do, looking back and forth between the house and the loft several times before hanging his head in defeat and heading off towards the house.

"Good lucky honey…you're gonna need it," Mrs. Bell remarked softly with an impish little smirk curling up the corners of her lips before she let out a long sigh and turned back to wondering if she should stay so that Ty could take a look at Sugarfoot or just go home and come back some other day.

END OF CHAPTER

Author's Note: Thanks again to everyone for reading and reviewing this and the other stories. As always comments, reviews, and questions are always appreciated. For the record I don't blame Amy for everything that happened in season eight, Ty made his own fair share of mistakes true. It's just that in the reviews and such I see a far more amount of anger and blame all aimed at Ty that everything about that season was all his fault. I just think that Amy made her own mistakes, yes she was all alone with a very powerful man however she was the one that put herself in that situation, somewhat like she did back in season four when she got sued by that rich guy. Working with a rich guys horses is one thing, going thousands of miles away with him when you'd have to know that he was interested in you is another thing. The video of the kiss didn't last long enough to see Amy push the prince away and reject him but what there was of the video didn't really show Amy resisting the kiss either. Ty easily could have viewed that there was only two reasons that Amy would not have told him about the kiss, one is that she felt guilty and embarrassed about it and didn't know how to tell him as she knew that it would upset him a lot.

That or the other reason would be that she had like the kiss and wanted to go further with the prince and just didn't know how to tell Ty that it was over, a view aided by her having problems kissing Ty when she came back. I still think that if Amy had told Ty right after getting home, doing it right so that yeah he would be upset about it however any break that they would have would have been far shorter and not lasted as long. I would think that Jack sure would have been mad at Ty but also at Amy, as we've seen through the series that he can lay down the law with her when he feels that she's pushing things. In the end we've seen that she'd had trouble with having too much work as Heartland was, and she wanted to add more room for more horses. I think that the trouble all started in season seven when they had the Ty and Amy relationship go through trouble and then Amy leave rather than deal with it, kind of like how Ty did in years past, however unlike in years past when Amy came back none of the trouble seemed to fall on her shoulders somehow. I don't blame Amy for that but the writers and producers instead, much of the shows problems are that it is a show and they stretch things out to fill a season's worth of shows.

The real Amy would not have stayed silent for those months of the break, as I don't think that Lou and the others would have either. I would have thought that Amy would have cornered Ty somewhere and just told him everything, leaving nothing out no matter how minor, painful, or insignificant. Apologizing along the way and admitting her own mistakes as she went before at the end looking him right in the eye and telling him point blank about what she viewed as being her future, that it was at Heartland and with him, and that the only way that he was going to get the ring back would be if he replaced it on her finger with a wedding ring. I think that Lou did hurt the whole thing with her terrible advice to Amy and wish that she had apologized to both Ty and Amy for it. I think that they could have had some interaction between Scott and Lou after Tim visited Ty and seemingly tried to get him to break up with Amy, all after practically pimping Amy out to the prince for his money. After watching how Tim treated the men in his daughter's lives I don't see how they even let him in the house. I also find it funny that they never really gave Ty what he was waiting to see from Amy that would convince him that she still wanted to marry him and such, he didn't figure things out until they went to Pike River but they never went further than that in explaining things from his side of things for the most part.

And then in season eleven they had Lily and Tim talking about how Ty and Amy should be better parents, which I found funny given how badly they both did at being parents and all. In the end I still love Ty and Amy together as a couple, loved the second trip to Mongolia, and I never saw Ty as running away to Mongolia on either trip. Behind the scenes stuff aside on the show Amy had to push him to go the first time and the second time only Amy having a bad passport and such kept her from leaving at the same time as Ty did, and during the first trip to Mongolia when Ty heard about the fire that killed the horses he wanted to come home but he only had like two weeks or so left so Amy told him to stay. I wonder what would have happened had he come home then, would he have gotten as sick as he did or would Amy have noticed it early enough. I still like the idea of someone that has seen up to the end of season thirteen to write a story about Ty, Amy, and Lyndy from the end of that season to go back in time to just before the crash that killed Marion. That would be a fun story to see how young Amy and older Amy interact, how older Amy would interact with her mother. How Marion would interact with Ty and Lyndy and take the news of her death and Tim's being back not to mention Shane.

How would the younger Amy interact with Ty and Lyndy. Or just switch it around and at the moment of her death have Marion transported forward to the end of season thirteen and all of the chaos that would bring. As much as I love the show I think that it should get a fourteenth and fifteenth season and that should be it, as for Ty and Amy all that's really left for them is to finish their house, have some more kids, and grow their business. I still have the idea in my head that Ty and Amy would have six kids, three boys and three girls, I even have the names for them all. While Tim and Brad were and are terrible fathers we know that Ty forgave him in season ten. So the twin boys would be Jackson Timothy and Bradley Scott. Then would come a daughter a few years later Lillian Louise before in the end another set of twins, with the boy being named after Ty just going by Tyler while Ty would still go by Ty and the girl would be Isabelle or Isabella after Mrs. Bell, with Soraya or Mallory as her middle name. Now if Ty and Amy adopt Luke then it would make more sense for them to only have four kids in total besides Luke, including Lyndy. And when Amy was pregnant with the twin boys some drama could happen with Luke feeling left out or that he would be pushed out and Georgie would be the one in the end to help him out given that she's adopted as well.

Or have Ty find out that he has a half-sister that's about the same age as Amy was when the show first started, that Brad had a one night stand or short term romance with her mom and the girl grew up thinking some other guy was her dad until he and her mom died and she found her birth certificate in their closet and learned the truth. Or maybe to have Ty find out that Brad lied about not having any siblings and that Brad had a brother and sister or something like that so that Ty has aunts and uncles and cousins and the like that he never knew about. In the end I hold no anger or blame towards Amy for anything that happened in season eight, in other words both she and Ty have suffered enough for all of that. I just wonder if the roles had been reversed if Ty would have gotten the same defense that some give Amy over the whole kiss, something tells me that he wouldn't.

I wonder why some haven't written about the kiss, like Amy's immediate reaction before during and after the kiss and then how they think that the revelation of the kiss should have gone, as I think that if Ty had just taken everything at face value that wouldn't have been very believable, as he had a right to be angry and all. I still remember and like the episode where Amy helps Ty work on his motorcycle after Caleb's relationship advice to her. Again hoping that Amy and Ty stay together to and through the end of the show, as otherwise any of their earlier moments would be in a way tainted with sadness because of the bad outcome. To me they've been together to long, been through too much, and love each other too much to split up, and the show is pretty much running out of time to do anything else, and it would probably be cheaper while at the same time keeping the viewers that they have to keep the pair together and not have to hire new actors for such a short time period and then overly rush any new romance. I'd say that some big changes are coming up for the show as Georgie should be about to graduate high school and then what, work for or with Ty and Amy or go off to school. Katie is about the same age that Mallory was when the show first started.

If they ever brought back some characters like Jesse, Jeremy, Ben, Kerry Anne, or the Prince I would only want any of them to come back if it meant that they would be shown that they were wrong, and as for the prince would love to see Amy punch him instead of Ty. I also wonder if it's possible that Jen could show up or was she just in the pilot and then basically no longer exists to the show. I would love to see Amy tell her what's been going on since she left, especially since no one at Heartland really seems to have any real friends at all. Ty's social circle outside of the family is like three people, pretty much the same with Amy, as when was the last time that she even mentioned Soraya's name. And then there's Georgie who has like three friends as well, and two of them are ex-boyfriends. I'd also love to see another Christmas pair of episodes or something like that as they haven't had one since season three. I've had a crazy idea for some time that if the show wanted to do something different they could have Olivia and Georgie end up together, that a lot of the hate towards Georgie from Olivia over the years was not because of the jumping team and all of that, but I won't be holding my breath over it.

With the kiss it's kind of a the cover up is worse than the crime kind of thing, I still think that if Amy had told Ty everything from the start it would still have messed them up but I don't think to the degree that it did, and I don't hold it against Amy past what happened in season eight. And yeah Ty could have been more understanding and all but again the video and Amy's explanation didn't match up, she didn't seem to resist the kiss and then hid it, only telling Lou. I don't think for a second that Amy wanted to date the prince or leave Ty for him or wanted to hurt Ty, after the kiss she just freaked and it all blew up in her face before she could figure out what to do. I don't blame Georgie or Lou over the video or showing Ty.

Also often wondered about the what if and missing moments of the show, like what it Ty hadn't left at the end of season one or had gone with Amy at the end of season three. Or if he had accepted her after the kiss in the rain or if say only Ty had survived the plane crash and Scott had died. What if Ty and Amy had gotten engaged the night that she found the ring or what if Ty had gone with Amy at the end of seasons seven. If Amy had gone back to Europe with the prince I think that it would have ended her relationship with Ty as unless she only left for a few days or weeks by the time that she came back, if she did, Ty would have probably graduated and moved away, which would make it impossible for them to get back together when she came back, as I don't think that he would have gotten a job anywhere near Hudson. Then come the missing moments of the phone call about Ty's accident in season five, how Amy and Ty told the family that she was pregnant, or how Amy told the family about Ty being sick in season ten. I don't have a problem with Caleb and Cassie staying together but could see that as an opportunity if they wanted to split them up, opportunity being their being unable to have a kid so far. It could be what leads to them splitting up, especially if they wanted to bring Ashley back. Thank You.
