Chapter 1: Level up?
[This is both mine and my friend's first Fanfic, so I hope you all enjoy. Criticism and recommendations are welcome]
The story begins at Midoriya's Elementary School when the kids started to develop their quirks, when Bakugo was bullying both Izuku and the kid behind him. Midoriya Izuku is in front of Bakugo with his arms up to protect the kid behind him, Bakugo goes to attack and Midoriya closes his eyes expecting to feel an explosive hit from him, when he heard Bakugo grunt in pain and felt a comforting hand on his shoulder, he opened his eyes to see his closest friends in front of him.
"Izuku, are you alright?" the one with his hand on Midoriya's shoulder said with a calm smile, he had a head of curly brown hair and hazel eyes, "C-Camden, how what you-?" He looks forward and sees his other friend grappling with Bakugo with an angry expression on his face, he has short black and curly hair, and bluish-grey eye color.
"Must you always do this, Bakugo? What is so satisfying about picking on those quirkless and weaker than you?" Hado says as he flips him over his shoulder on to the ground, "It always gets me rather angry to see a "hero" not have any regards for those that can't defend themselves." Bakugo growls at Hado before smirking and his hand starts to glow, "Says the quirkless nerd!" Hado flies back with a yell from the blast that Bakugo shot at him and starts to groan in pain on the ground.
Back to Midoriya and Camden, with Camden helping Midoriya and the other kid move away from the fight, "Stay here Izuku, you don't know how to fight yet, me and Hado will take care of Bakugo, then we are going to the store and treating ourselves to some Ice Cream then we can go to my house and watch All Might on T.V.." Midoriya nods before saying, "don't get hurt please…"
Camden chuckles, "I practice martial arts Izuku, do you really think we would get injured by Bakugo's randomly fired blast." They both hear an explosion and a yell as Hado hits the floor with a groan. "I'll be right back, gotta give him a hand." Camden says this as he runs to help out Hado with Midoriya watching with a scared look on his face.
Camden runs up to Bakugo while he is trying to get up and pushes him back to the ground pinning him down in a way that would insure that Bakugo wouldn't be able to use his quirk on them. After Camden says to Bakugo with a mad/serious tone. " Bakugo, you keep acting like this and you're dreams of being a hero will be in jeopardy, a hero is someone who protects everyone no matter if they have a quirk or not, a hero is someone that risks his life to save another, not to take pick fights with people weaker than you to make yourself feel more superior than you really are." Bakugo jumps back up angry, "What do you know you quirkless wanna be!?"
Hado groans as he sits up, "He knows more than you, tic tic, and he has a quirk it just doesn't give him extreme abilities like shooting explosions from Nitroglycerin sweat," He walks up to Bakugo with a frown, "and I don't need to have a quirk to know what a hero is truly meant to be. One that leads with hope and kindness, not with fear and anger." He puts his hand on Camden's shoulder and looks back, "Let's ditch this, "god" of ours and treat Midoriya to that Ice cream you promised us." Camden says with a smile, "Sorry, got to buy your own, I only have enough money for 2." Hado looks at him with a pout, "That's unfair Cam, you promised Midoriya Ice Cream but didn't consider your other best friend," he sighs, "That's mean." Camden says " dude I am pulling your leg I don't need to eat don't worry you can get some ice cream."
They start to walk away Camden leading the way before they stop abruptly because of Hado exclaiming, "I DID WHAT?!" Izuku and Camden look back at Hado with concerned/confused expressions on their faces, "What's wrong?"
Hado looks up to them with a confused yet excited expression, "I just leveled up, and unlocked my quirk…" Camden and Midoriya started to scream with excitement, "YOU UNLOCKED YOUR QUIRK!?" Midoriya runs up to Hado and starts to shake him back and forth, "What is it? What can it do? And what do you mean by leveled up?"
Hado gets overwhelmed by the questions and a bunch of… notifications popping up in front of his vision before saying, "I'll explain at Cam's, goodnight." He passes out from the sheer amount of information that was being practically installed into his brain. Camden and Midoriya look at his unconscious body deciding to carry him back to Camden's house.
… This is going to be a long night.
