Clowning Around is a Toontown story utilizing the different storylines of Toontown, as a little commemoration of this surprisingly thriving community of the closed 2002-3 game, Toontown Online. I only own the character Golly G. Willikers. I do not own the cogs, the toons, and the characters, for they all are owned by their respective server and cartoon. Enjoy.

Ever wonder what it's like to live life as a toon? Well, boy do I got a story for you.

Ya see, in the beginning, there was man. Man have brains…surprise, surprise, am I right? Anyway, as they continued to evolve, they use those brains of theirs to pursue their dreams here.

Man can, if they put their heart into it, can become just whatever they want. Man has the ability to strive to become from…Ted from Accounting, to people even greater, bosses, Kings, EMPERORS. They use those brains of theirs to do just whatever they want.

But…they're not COMPLETELY free.

See, despite the fact that man can do just whatever they want, they don't have that freedom to do it with a hitch. They have to strive, work hard, to even get a piece of toast.

The real world…from what I gathered at least, is cruel, harsh, and you only become somethin' like a King or Emperor if you travel through the hurdles and HOPE that you're lucky to get somewhere.

The real world isn't full of fantasy and magic. Like I said, it's a cruel, cruel, world out there. Sometimes Man would wish they'd escape to it.

And what better way to do so?

Through creativity and imagination.

Though life will always decide if you get a lil' puppy pet or a kick to the balls, man would use their relaxation, and most of all, creativity, to form as a lil' crutch to cope with the harsh realities.

The mind of man is as vast as a canvas. And through their creativity, they draw, build, and create art and make stories. Be it the daring stories of the knights of old, to things a bit on the…silly side of the spectrum.

And this, my friends…is where WE come in.

Through the UNFATHOMABLE wisdom and knowledge of man, some of their creations would come out as…dogs and cats.

Sounds, boring, I know, but…what if they talked?

Now THAT…Is still too boring.

But what if they had…bigger heads.

….Going, going, have I gotten your attention yet?

What if those talking dogs and cats…walk around with talking inanimate objects? Like buildings and cars, and house furniture?

ENTICING YET? HOW ABOUT TALKING DOGS, AND CATS, WALK AMONG EVEN MORE TALKING ANIMALS, INANIMATE OBJECTS, FURNITURE, SWEETS, GHOSTS, AND SILVERWARE?! AND THEY THROW INANIMATE OBJECTS NO MATTER HOW HEAVY!

….and they sport gloves.

Now THAT, my friends, is how you create an attention grabber.

With EVERYTHING in mind, mix it all together folks, and we got us: we've got…Toons. Cartoon characters that consist of humans, animals, minerals, vegetables, the whole kit and kaboodle. A land that doesn't have Magic, but…it's still a magical experience, nonetheless.

Cartoon characters that SKYROCKET to the freedom that humans lack. Cartoon characters that can do…ANYTHING they want. They can do ANYTHING and EVERYTHING that man can't, defiance of the laws of gravity, physics, and just about any logic in the books. No script, no strings, no NOTHING.

Toons are the very definition…of the heart's freedom.

And how it all began? Well…I think it's best if we recite these familiar quotes.

…OK, We all know that's it's not entirely true…BUT, it's the mouse that skyrocketed this whole stream of cartoons and wonder, and magic and all that other…boring stuff. Cue me~

Mickey Mouse. If you don't know that name by now, then you're nothing more than a Neanderthal, at best. In any case, in birth of Mickey Mouse came many other toons created by Disney and Ub Iwerks.

One of those toons is someone who I'd have the chance to call my father, the most inspiration inventor of all toon kind, and the GREATEST one at that: Gyro Gearloose.

Now, I know that I probably give too much credit for his work, even I admit that his creations have allot of…um…really bad kinks, but I only give credit where credit is due. And credit for him…is CERTAINLY due.

So, how about I open things up with…me! The creation of the first-ever, silly, clowny, party-making, walking, talking, Automatoon! Basically, a robo toon. Within me all sorts of gags and goodies.

See, Scrooge wanted to create a balance, between work and play. So, he made me! A robot filled with the toony chemicals that all toons have within them, Toontonium. That's the stuff that makes toonys…well toony toons. But he also created…them.

He was curious to find out what would happen when Toontinum would clash with ANOTHER chemical he found, Boreine. And well…Hehehe, howsabout I tell you the story on how ALLLLLL of this began. Starting with the stuff that goes on in Gyro's lab.
