A mountain stands tall as the wind slams into it again and again. A few of the trees, too weak to survive the storm of the night, yield to the wind and rain, snapping at their base and hitting the wet ground with a dull thud. A woman, pale as death, and just as deadly, stands at the plateau; the rain seemingly going unnoticed.

A man walks casually up to her, hands in his pockets. The rain fell around him, rather than on him. He relaxed his mind as the sight of her alone ran a small shiver down his spine. The woman smiled, a smile that would normally be beautiful twisted by the sheer amount of venom dripping from it.

"So, is it time?" The woman's voice was melodic, contrasting with the commanding tone she was using now. The man bristled lightly, thinking carefully on his words before speaking. The characteristic smile was plastered back onto his face.

"Yes. Masaki Kurosaki is pregnant." He chuckled. "Along with the other two you have mentioned. They will all be born within the year." He ran his hand through his hair, pressure coming off of him as his smile widened. It dropped immediately after when an immense amount of spiritual pressure surrounded him, cutting off his air, he couldn't move at all, and sweat ran down his face.

The woman turned to him, her moonlight white hair falling in place behind her. Ruby red lips pressed lightly together, ready to speak gave her an air of light anger. Her voice didn't betray this. "Aizen, do remember your place. I will not hesitate to put you down like a dog if I must." Her eyes narrowed, and she stepped closer to whisper. "Understand?" He could only nod lightly. She vanished right after, leaving him to head back to the soul society and play teacher.

Ichigo Kurosaki had just about enough of today already. It started with the same six hour drag of school, then fixing up that vase for that spirit. Now his father was attacking him as soon as he stepped in the door. He should really put that giant poster of mom away. He shook his head as he walked up the stairs, refusing Yuzu's calls for dinner. He laid back in bed, looking up into the ceiling. His thoughts drifted lightly, the open window bringing a cool wind along with the smell of coming rain. He hated the rain.

A beautiful black butterfly with blue tipped wings fluttered into his room and around his face for a moment. That was odd.

"It's close. It hasn't found what it is hunting yet." Ichigo sat back in his bed as he noted a small mane of raven hair. He bolted out of bed, kicking the seemingly young woman off of his table.

"If you're a robber, you're not a very good one!" The young woman looked up at him in shock.

"You can see me?" The sword at her hip clinked lightly as she fell. Ichigo's usual scowl deepened.

"Well considering I just put my foot in your behind, of course I can see you!"

Sean grumbled to himself as he tapped at his alarm clock to shut it up. His joints popped as he sat up in the early morning. Four a.m. again. It was better than one of his parents spending the night once a week. That would give him problems on top of the ones he already had to deal with. He clambered out of bed and rustled in his dresser drawer for some clothes, stopping by the nearby closet for a towel.

He entered the bathroom, setting his clothes down. Dark brown hair fell to his shoulders, always annoying to deal with whenever he had to brush it out, but it was comfortable. Piercing green eyes looked back into him from the mirror. A defined jawline sloped down into an athletic build, and a thin crescent shaped scar about the size of his index finger contrasted with his already pale skin at his side.

He had a hot shower and threw on his uniform, needing to start walking soon. He ate a bowl of cold cereal as he ran a hairbrush through his tangled hair. He could hardly taste it as his mind raced about the things he would do today. There was getting to school by six so he could study and prepare, and then there was kickboxing at around four. Lastly, it was dinner with a few of his friends.

Locking the door behind him, Sean began the mile long walk uphill to his high school. First was Biology with . The purple skies of the early morning were yielding to the traditional blue as he entered the school. His dress shoes clicked gently against the tiled floors as he walked down the halls. He reached the desired class and sat in his seat. Looking at his watch, he noted thirty minutes before everyone else was supposed to even show up.

He looked up from his notes to find that wasn't at his desk, or even in the room for that matter. That was really odd. He was always here and teaching, even on the day his father had died. The senior contemplated this for a bit as he went over his notes a third time.

About twenty minutes later, when most students had already found their seats, a young woman entered the room and stood at the front of the class. She had braided hair that hung at her back, and light bangs. She stood completely still, almost like that of a soldier. When she spoke, it was monotone, yet not unfeminine.

"Good morning class, my name is Nemu Kurotsuchi. You will refer to me as . I will be subbing for until he returns."

Darkness pervaded his sight. He felt like he was floating gently in the empty space. Deep gurgles like a rolling stomach were one of the few things he could hear here. There was a small light, and he thought over to it, doing his best to find movement in this space. It seemed to shrink the farther he went in.

Kane woke with a start to the sound of his mother knocking on his door. "Kane? It's time to wake up. You do have school in an hour or so." She giggled as he muttered something incoherently. "Alright, be at the table in a few minutes. I'll pour us both some cereal."

He flopped out of bed as he tried to lift the fog from his mind. Kane was uncharacteristically groggy this morning. He tossed a black t-shirt over blue jeans and sneakers. He was glad to not have school today, even if it was simply a doctor's appointment it would break up the mundane schedule of everyday monotony of a high school student.

He sat down at the table, looking up from his bowl of cereal to see his mother staring at him. He noted the similarities between them. He had the same fiery red hair, and piercing blue eyes that most people found intimidating.

"Yes, did you need something mom?" She shook her head in turn and they walked out to the car after finishing their food. She was relatively quiet in the car ride over, the music leaving his ears as he drifted in the quiet of his own thoughts. Things remained like that as they drove on. He was confused about his dream, normally these sorts of dreams didn't bug him. He just sort of left it be for now, no reason to fuss so much over a little dream.

The doctor was quick to let them in to their appointment, letting him sit in the chair while his mother waited outside in the waiting area. The doctor introduced himself as Hanabi, and had him jog in place to test his breathing and heartbeat. It was no issue, and everything seemed to proceed as normal.

" All your tests check out. You are an extremely healthy fifteen year old young man. Is there anything you have questions about? Or a concern you would like to address, ?"

Sean finally finished his last hour. He sighed as he stood and gathered his belongings. He nodded to the teacher as he walked out of the classroom. He stepped evenly along the halls as he listened to his music with headphones. He froze outside of the school gate when he felt a pair of eyes on him. They seemed to root him to the spot, threatening that he couldn't move a muscle even if he wished. It was broken for an instant, and he sprinted.
