The Crumbling Orb EPISODE III: The Dark Stop
A couple of days after helping the Batarian's, the team now prepare for their last mission to help the Federation. They must go to the planet Coruscant for this mission, to find an organization that has been terrorizing the lower cities of Coruscant for a year.
Chapter 1:
The fifth fleet left hyperspeed and entered the orbit of Coruscant.
Aizen was reading something when Jessica and Cosmic walked in.
"We are over Coruscant but we have a small problem." Cosmic said.
Aizen looked up from the book.
"Mangle took an escape pod and headed to the planet first. She was tired of waiting and wants to get some action." Cosmic said.
"Oh damn it." Aizen said.
"She's a strange girl." Jessica said.
Aizen got onto his holo com.
"Sasori can you get one of the shuttles ready?" Aizen asked.
"Right away." Sasori said.
Aizen got up and the three walked out of the Ebon Hawk and into the hanger of the Turian cruiser.
"Sasori is getting your shuttle ready." One Turian said.
They were approached by Jenkins.
"I checked the datapad and it says Mangle's shuttle hit this coordinates." Jenkins said showing it to Aizen.
Aizen took a look and handed it to Cosmic who nodded.
"Meet us there okay?" Aizen asked.
"I'll let Dray and the others know." Cosmic said.
Cosmic ran over to another shuttle that was being prepped up.
Dray was inside with Ken putting supplies inside.
"Why aren't we taking the Ebon Hawk or Normandy?" Ken asked.
"I guess the spaceports are all booked for a few days and Decorus doesn't want to wait anymore. Taking these two shuttles will be the only way." Dray said.
Cosmic tapped Dray's shoulder and handed him the datapad as he looked at it and then hooked it to the shuttle.
"It's going to take us there in autopilot." Dray said.
"Everyone ready?" Ken asked.
Serenity and Hide were at the cockpit.
"Ready!" Hide shouted.
Serenity got on the holo com.
"Joker, we are ready to head out- sure you don't want to come?" Serenity asked.
"No thanks. I will just slow you guys down but hey can you do me a favor? Pick up some vortex clips for me?" Joker asked.
"Vortex clips huh?" Serenity said in an amused tone.
"Yeah yeah don't go asking me questions. Humans aren't the only attractive creatures in the galaxy you know." Joker said.
"I didn't take you for exploring other lady species." Serenity said.
"I didn't take you for asking me questions like this." Joker replied.
Serenity smirked and hung up.
Hide typed on the console of the shuttle and after Qrow and Eto entered the shuttle they took off out of the hanger and Sasori in his shuttle followed behind.
Both shuttles headed to a part of the lower city on the planet Coruscant and landed on a street.
"I'm typing on the autopilot system for the shuttles to return." Sasori said.
Hide did the same for their shuttle and both got off their shuttles and both shuttles after a minute headed back up into space.
"When we need them again they will come down on this exact spot." Sasori said.
"So the lower city of Coruscant, really busy." Itachi said.
"You and Eto live here, know where we could go to find our targets?" Serenity asked.
"Who are our targets again?" Ken asked.
"Decorus said there is some terrorism in the lower city of Coruscant by an unknown organization. This organization has members with extraordinary powers." Gin said.
"Which means we need to be careful." Serenity said.
"I found Mangle's escape pod." Cosmic said looking over at an escape pod lodged into a building.
The building suddenly crumbled a bit and a man in a bathtub fell out and groaned.
"She always loves to make an entrance." Dray sighed.
"Have you ever taught your kid?" Jessica asked.
Dray glared at her.
"Before we continue, you look like one of my daughters' mothers and with the name Jessica." Dray said.
Everyone looked between Dray and Jessica.
"Huh?" Jessica said confused.
Aizen and Gin looked at one another.
"So perhaps I was testing the resurrection thing a bit early but sort of by accident made a clone of Jessica." Aizen said.
"What!" Dray and Jessica at the same time shouted.
"The clone died so, don't worry about it. Just a clone." Aizen said.
"Is there anything else you need to admit?" Jessica asked.
Before Aizen said anything they heard an explosion nearby.
They ran down the street and found Mangle shooting down a gang of people.
"You entered Vulkar territory!" One of the gang members shouted.
He and the last gang member shot at Mangle but Mangle shot out an ion blast that hit both of them and then rapidly shot them with the regular blaster shots.
"Mangle!" Dray yelled running up.
"Sup son." Mangle said.
"Damn it Mangle, what did you do?" Dray asked.
"Killed the organization." Mangle said.
"That's the wrong organization!" Dray shouted.
"Don't correct me or I will destroy you." Mangle said.
"It's a surprise she hasn't got us killed yet." Aizen said.
"She might before our lives end again." Sasori said.
"Anyways, I'm sorry. Ken and Eto, you two know these streets." Aizen said to them.
"This isn't our district." Eto said.
"Yeah, I know nothing of this part of Coruscant." Ken said.
"Would your dad?" Aizen asked.
Zayne and Jarael were off on another mission.
"Even he only knows our district. This is another district." Ken said.
"Then we ask the locals." Aizen said.
"We should stay together." Eto said.
"My thoughts exactly. These are some dark streets." Serenity said.
"You could say we are stopping in the dark." Mangle said.
"Huh?" Itachi asked.
"Don't ask, had to say something like that. Anyways onward!" Mangle shouted.
Mangle walked ahead of them and everyone just sighed following her.
Serenity looked at Ken and Eto walking next to one another and Serenity smirked and purposely bumped into him that made him bump into Eto where he had to grab her shoulders.
Eto looked at him surprised and Ken blushed a bit letting go.
"I'm wondering if your clumsiness is to get touchy with me." Eto said smirking.
"I uh, I didn't mean too again." Ken said.
Ken turned his head glaring at Serenity.
Karura was walking behind them and grinned looking at what Serenity did.
"So Ken, going to ask-" Karura began to say to be a bitch until Ken turned around quickly.
"Hey Karura! What is it you want, something important?" Ken asked to quickly change her mind.
Karura gave him a wide grin.
"Oh just wondering how long you and Eto known one another is all!" Karura shouted.
"A little over a week now. We met the day we met you guys." Eto said.
"And you was a villain?" Itachi asked.
"You call me a villain, yet aren't we all villains in our own way?" Eto said.
"Let's not get philosophical please, we got a job to do." Sasori said.
"God you people, terrible. You all should be like me." Mangle said.
"Oh, where would we be if we were like you..." Serenity mumbled.
"In jail." Karura said.
"In a maximum prison." Itachi added.
"No, you would all be rich." Mangle said.
Everyone didn't say anything but roll their eyes.
Meanwhile, in orbit, Decorus was checking a monitor at some readings and then got a call from Jarun Tann on the holo screen nearby.
"Director." Decorus said.
"Are they on Coruscant?" Jarun Tann asked.
"With the many trillions of other lives? Yes." Decorus said.
"Good to hear." Jarun Tann said.
"After this mission, we will be ready for the coming invasion from the darkness of space." Decorus said.
"I think we have one last problem to deal with, and you know what problem that is." Jarun Tann said.
Decorus frowned.
"Revan and Malak." Jarun Tann said.
"Their small faction can't take us on." Decorus said.
"We have reports that their fleet is growing and we do not know how." Jarun Tann said.
"Growing?" Decorus asked.
"Last month it was at ten percent of production of their fleet and soldiers, now it's at thirty percent." Jarun Tann said.
"Impossible." Decorus said.
"Let me know when they have completed their mission on Coruscant, then we must discuss with them the last problem that must be handled." Jarun Tann said.
"Where is Revan and Malak now?" Decorus asked.
"We have no idea, our spies can't track them anymore. Their last projectory was toward the Terminus Systems." Jarun Tann said.
"That could be anywhere then." Decorus said.
"We will have our scouts check Omega Nebula and Hourglass Nebula." Jarun Tann said.
"What of Ord Trasi sector and Dantooine sector?" Decorus asked.
"We will be sending only a few scouts there, I don't think they would be foolish enough to go into two populated sectors like that." Jarun Tann said.
"Perhaps they know that and will hide there knowing we won't suspect." Decorus suggested.
Jarun Tann thought.
"I will speak to my scouts, good luck Admiral." Jarun Tann said.
The holo image faded and Decorus sighed and went back to his work.
Decorous turned his head seeing his female crew staring at him.
Decorus blinked a few times and went back to work, still clueless to know that they were in love with his good looks.
