In Stark tower, Tony's in his lab working on adjustments to his Iron Man suit. He has JARVIS playing AC/DC while he works. Ten Steve walks into the lab with documents in his hand.
"Tony, Fury wants to see us tomorrow. He has another mission for us. Meeting is at 6 am sharp. This folder has some of the info. Better read it tonight"
"Fine" Tony grumbled.
Steve left the lab and went to his room Tony picked up the file and looked in it.

Code Name: Dark Angel
Mutation: Seems to be able to fly with some sort of tech wings. Hard to tell. Only attacks during the night.
Really dangerous. Capture as soon as possible.
"This seems interesting. A lot is unknown about this person. No wonder Fury wants him in. He doesn't like things he doesn't know about." he mumbled.
Only one photo is in the folder. It is a blurry photo of a person flying through the air. Not much is shown and it's hard to tell anything apart. Tony stood there for a few minutes staring at the folder. Then he closed it and set it on the table.
"Jarvis, what is the current time?"
"It's 9:43 pm sir" Jarvis answered.
"Set an alarm for 12am. I'm gonna work for a few more hours."
"Yes sir"
"Sir wake up. Pepper is calling you saying that your meeting with Fury and the Avengers starts in an hour" Jarvis said
Tony groaned and lifted his head. True to Jarvis's words, it's currently 5am. He rolled out of bed and went to get ready. When he got dressed TOny went downstairs to see that Pepper had made breakfast for him.
"Breakfast? You didn't need to make it" Tony mumbled.
Pepper spoke back "Well if I didn't make it you wouldn't eat at all".
"Fine, I'll eat" grumbled Tony.
When he was finished he drove to the Shield base Fury wanted to meet. When he walked in everyone was sitting around a rectangle table table. Fury was at the front standing up. To his left is Steve, Clint, and Natasha. On his right is Bruce, Wanda, and Thor. Tony sat next to Natasha.
"Look who actually is one time for once"
"Very funny Fury"
"So as you know, our mission is to retrieve the Dark Angel. We know nothing besides that it's working for Hydra. SHield has been tracking it for 2 years now, but has been unable to capture it. You all have been given the task to track it down and bring it in".
"How exactly do you want us to do that?" Steve asked while looking at the files they were given.
"I want Natasha, Clint, and Wanda out patrolling and looking for it. Steve, Bruce, and Tony. I want to look through files and try to hack into Hydra. Thor won't be helping. I don't even know why he came" Fury glared at Thor and he shrugged. "Report back to me every time you have more information. I want this person behind bars. DO you copy?"
"Yes sir" Steve answered back. Everyone else just nodded or waved. They left and started to get to work.
At the Hydra base Ross was talking to a girl in a cell.
"Your next mission is to capture Natasha Romanoff. Director Fury told me that they will be patrolling tomorrow. I want to keep an eye on them. Don't attack yet. I want you to find out their weaknesses and plans. And don't try anything. We could still kill your brother".
"Yes sir" the girl replied. Ross left the girl in the cell. She thought back to how she got here. She was seven and living with her brother. Hydra broke into their house and kidnapped her. They experimented on her and made her a weapon. They…. they gave her wings.
Yes, wings. It was a painful process. Basically they injected bird DNA into her which caused the mutation. They called her A23FA, or A23. But she knew her real name, Ashlyn. Though she couldn't remember her last name. It was the one thing about her she couldn't remember. Now, Ashlyn is 14. They had her for seven years. They trained her to fight. Two years ago, they started to send her on missions. To keep her from running away, they told her if she did anything against what she was told, they would kill her brother. Now she was sitting in her cell waiting for her next mission.
Apparently, the Avengers have given her the code name Dark Angel. Hydra started to use the name. So on mission she is referred to as Dark Angel. Ashlyn doesn't know what to think about it. Her wings are black, which helps with hiding in the dark. So they name suits her. But she doesn't feel like an Angel. She's hurt many people, and even killed a few. She doesn't deserve the title Angel. She feels more like a devil.
I guard walked into her cell. Ashlyn stood up and looked at him
"A23, time for your mission. Come with me."
Ashlyn followed him to a vehicle. She got inside and sat on a seat. Then the guard started giving her instructions.
"The Avengers are currently out patrolling. Stay out of sight. Only observe them. We'll drop you off behind a building. Once your mission is over we'll pick you up from the same place. Don't try anything, copy that?"
Ashlyn replied with no emotion "Yes sir".
When the vehicle stopped, Ashlyn got out of the car and flew to the top of the building. She lands and just stands there and stares at the target's building, planning on her actions. But little does she know, a certain spider is watching her from a distance.
"Clint, Wanda, I have eyes on the target. It's just standing on the building on 27th street. It's not doing anything. I'm not close enough to tell gender, features, etc,. I need to get closer. Watch my back for me" Natasha whispers in her earpiece.
"Roger that" Clint replies. Natasha moves in closer, jumps onto the building roof that is right next to where her target is, blending into the darkness. Natasha studies the target, not expecting what is about to happen.
Ashlyn notices something in the corner of her eye. SHe saw someone jumping onto a roof on the building next to her. She stiffens and keeps an eye out for the figure. Thanks to her good vision, Ashlyn notices a person hiding. She decided to abandon her mission and starts to attack the person. She opened her wings and flew to the building and kicked the person in the chest, catching it off guard. To her surprise, the person was none other than the Black Widow, an Avenger. The Black Widow seemed surprised and immediately talking to a communication device in her ear. Ashlyn reached and ripped it out. This caused the Black Widow to grab her arm and throw her to the other side of the roof. Ashlyn gets up and starts hand to hand combat with her. The Widow has more of an advantage, with having more training than her. But that would be if Ashlyn is full human. With the wings, Ashlyn also got superhuman strength. She's not as strong as the hulk, but stronger than spider-man. Ashlyn kicks the Black Widow off the roof then flies away.
Natasha was caught off guard. She was just standing in the shadows watching the Dark Angel, when it suddenly flew towards her and kicked her down. When Natasha looked at the Angel, she noticed that their target was a female.
"The Dark Widow just attacked me. It's a girl. Don't know age. Send hel-" Just as Natasha was finishing her sentence, the earpiece was ripped out by the girl. Natasha quickly grabbed her arm and threw her. She ran towards the girl and started attacking her with hand to hand combat. What surprised her was the girl's strength! SHe was really strong for a human. Being shocked from that, she froze for a second. This gave the girl an opportunity to kick Natash. But this kick was so hard it knocked her off the building!
