Hey everybody, now here's the long awaited sequel to The Team! Now, I recommend you read the first one simply titled 'The Team.' In a nutshell, the entire franchise is about a, in this story, 19 year old named James Michael working with characters from movies, tv shows, and video games to save the world from dangers. So basically, this is a franchise where any character can run into any character.
Now, I spent alot of time on this, in fact I had to gain extra assistance and that goes to The not Legendary Storyteller, check him out if you want to, anyway, pretty please enjoy the story and review it if you want to. I only owe the OC's in this story, everyone else is owed by the companies that created the characters. This is made for the purpose of entertainment.
One more thing, my Team oneshots I do are not in chronological order, so they take place not one after the other, but rather their just tales told in a random order, just to make that clear.
Anyway, without further ado, here's the story.
Space. It's quiet. Very quiet. Like a forum leak on the leaf of a windless day. Like a mouse that saw the series finale of Game Of Thrones and tells his other mouse friends to not watch it. It's my job to explore it, Space. It's a tough job, but someone has to do it, and there's no one better suited for it than me, James Michael!
"What are you doing?" Supergirl asked.
James looked over to the kryptonian. "Nothing." James said.
"Are you sure? Cause you look like you're talking to yourself." She said crossing her arms.
"Is it okay to call that narration?" James said.
"That doesn't make any sense." She chuckled.
"Says the lady that no one recognizes as Linda Danvers despite the fact that all you do is straighten your hair and get rid of your glasses to become Supergirl, same with your cousin." James said smirking underneath his helmet.
Linda sarcastically laughed. James already knew about Supergirl, aka Kara Zor El's secret identity, but that was because he was not from her dimension. He was from the world you're in right now, the real world, where heroes are all splashed onto the comics and shows and movies, so he knew basically all of his allies on his team's identity.
Then, James got a call from his brother, Alex. "Sup brother." James said.
"We found it." Alex said.
James smiled. "Okay, I'll get there fast. Bye." James hanged up on Alex. "Kara, come on." James said.
"What's wrong?" She asked.
"You'll see." James said throwing a portal into the air and flying into it.
He teleported into the basement of his house, where Alex, Dracula, Mavis, Superman (Clark Kent), Vlad, Cindy Lou, and Dennis in the room.
"Kal." Kara said.
"Kara." He said back.
"Fill us in." James said.
"Well, the crystal that Dracula has been looking for for centuries I've finally been able to find." Alex said. It was true. The Dracula family was trying hard to find this crystal that was lost centuries ago, and they never found it.
"Well where is it?" Linda asked.
"At a research facility at this location *shows the spot* in a forest near the hotel." Alex said.
"So you're telling me that they thought that they could get away with having that crystal near the hotel *chuckles* they're asking for us to get it." Dennis laughed.
"Don't get cocky kid. It's still not going to be easy to get into the place. Any ideas?" James asked.
Later.
"This was the best we could come up with!" James yelled hiding behind a tree, as he was being shot at.
The plan that out of all people, Alex came up with was to just go in guns blazing and get the crystal from there. What they weren't expecting was the fortress to be heavily guarded.
"Well, you get what you get." Mavis yelled at him from a different tree.
"Look, we need a plan. How about this, Cindy, Dennis, keep cover. Everyone else, split up!" James yelled.
Everyone nodded.
James pulled out a smoke bomb and threw it to the ground, causing them to vanish from the naked eye.
Dennis and Kara ran one way, Dracula and Mavis another, Alex and Vlad another, Cindy and Clark another, and James went off away from everyone else.
Dennis turned into a bat and he and Kara flew up into the air.
When they did, they saw the field.
Dennis smiled and flew straight at the place, before he bounced off the walls like a pinball before landing on the roof.
"Dennis!" Kara yelled before she was shot at by a turret.
She shot at it with her laser vision and the turret caught on fire.
Another turret shot at her and she flew out of the way.
Dennis got up and saw soldiers running at him.
"Uh oh." He said he used his telekinesis and threw the soldiers into the trees.
Dennis pulled out a walkie talkie. "James! There's a force field around the fortress." Dennis said.
James punched a soldier. "See you learned that the hard way didn't you? I'll think of something." James said before he kicked another one in the face.
Vlad pushed a soldier into a cell and used his telekinesis to lock him in there.
Alex grabbed a soldier by the collar and threw him into a wall. Alex punched another one so hard he flew all across the outside prison.
Vlad pulled out a walkie. "Any ideas?" Vlad asked James.
James grabbed a small stick from the ground. "Thinking about it!" James yelled as he summoned his mask around him and scanned the building.
He found a weak spot for the shield on the top left. He looked to see turrets firing away.
"Clark! I have a job for you." James said as he whacked someone with the stick.
"I'm on it *turns to Cindy* stay here." Clark said before he flew up.
Clark flew to the turrets, opened the compartments to the inside, and grabbed the people inside and took them out of the turrets.
Dracula and Mavis, as bats, grabbed the soldiers and dropped them into the trees.
James flew to the other side of the fortress and then he smashed into the window and broke in with the right amount of force.
Once he got back up, he saw soldiers aiming their guns at him.
James raised his hands. "Whoa whoa whoa, fellas, let's talk this out." James said firing tranquilizer darts at all of them. James gasped at the sight of the bodies. "How did that happen?" He asked himself sarcastically before walking around the place.
The shield went down because of James breaking in and everyone began to make their way in.
James walked across the place as he was scanning the place. He saw that there was a hidden entrance.
James touched the grey bricks on the wall and slid his hand across the wall.
A brick suddenly went into the wall that his hand was on as the wall opened up. "Yay." James said walking down the stairs.
He entered a basement where there was a bunch of macguffins, including the crystal. The crystal was a dark black, in the form of a diamond, with a red and black aura, similar to the one that Vlad has when he used his magic, floating around the crystal.
"Guys, I have eyes on the prize." James said through the walkie.
He walked over to the crystal, and studied it for a bit.
He went to touch it, but when he did, he felt his surroundings disappear.
He looked around to see that he was suddenly in a house. A rather nice house.
He walked around to room to see a bunch of photos and once he stepped on something that squeaked, he saw that there was a bunch of kids toys on the floor.
One photo that stood out to him was a photo on the fridge. There was a tiny, badly crayon drawled stick figure being held by two other stick figures, with the words 'Mommy & Daddy' written above the heads. The one James presumed was the mom had auburn colored hair, while the presumed dad had hair shockingly similar to James's own.
He turned away and saw a white and grey husky dog laying down on the floor.
He took a seat on the couch to figure out where he is, when he heard a baby crying.
James got up instantly and began to try to find the baby.
In the real world, Cindy made it to where James was, he was just standing there, looking at the crystal.
James opened a door to a baby girl's room.
James looked around the light purple room to see a little girl laying down in her crib.
Cindy turned to see a soldier about to shoot at them.
James was questioning who the girl was when suddenly he felt like he was pushed out of the dream and back in the real world before he could figure out anything else.
James, without any knowledge, summoned a gun and looked up to see a guard in the room.
He shot at him and he fell down unconscious.
James sighed and looked back at the crystal, only now it was floating in the air.
James was about to go fix it in anyway he could, solving what's wrong with it, but he saw Cindy on the floor convulsing, and blood was on her.
"Cin!" James yelled kneeling down to check on her.
The crystal glowed before it's red and black aura suddenly bursted out of the crystal and flew out of the building.
James grabbed her and the crystal without it's aura. "Abort missing! I repeat, abort mission and meet back at headquarters!" James yelled throwing a portal and jumping into it.
Everyone else heard the message and they summoned their own portal back to James's house.
Meanwhile, across the multiverse, one named Silena Michael, older sister of James and Alex Michael, wasn't getting any sleep.
She did have a tough day at work. One of her 'flirtatious' coworkers was attempting to ask her on a date again, and she had to tell him Again about the fact she had a husband, but maybe she just needed some simple plain water.
She got up from her bed, where her husband Adam was sound asleep like a baby, and she exited the room.
She walked downstairs and she went to the sink.
She grabbed a cup of water and she began to fill it up with water.
As she was doing so, she saw an old photo of her family. James, Alex, herself, her mother Beth, and her father David, all at a carnival, having gone into a photo booth.
Silena smiled at the memory and she looked at the photo. She missed James, Alex, and Beth. She could remember when she was told the news. Her father had called her after seeing the wreckage for himself, she was heartbroken, as expected. She was told the story on what happened, and she couldn't believe what she was even hearing.
Then, she noticed in the reflection on the glass cup, was that there was a red aura behind her.
She turned around and suddenly the aura went into her. She screamed from the fiery pain it brought her and she fell down to the ground.
A moment later, Adam ran down the stairs to see her wife on the ground. "Silena!" He yelled, going to her comfort. "You okay?" He asked before Silena suddenly grabbed Adam by the throat and knocked him out.
Silena, now with burning red eyes, looked around her surroundings. "It feels good to be back." She said, with another voice echoing as she spoke.
Then, Silena heard crying from upstairs.
She began to walk upstairs, each step being postured and menacing.
She walked into the room where it was coming from to see a baby girl crying.
Silena grabbed the girl by the hand softly and she went back down with it and she grabbed Adam.
Then, an orange portal opened up and the three of them walked into it.
The sister of James was possessed by someone.
...
James teleported back into the headquarters, with Cindy spasming out and he placed her on a hospital bed.
James unlocked a case, containing emergency teleportation devices that led to anyone on the team.
James flipped the switches to The Grinch, Cindy's mother Donna, and her friends, Groopert, Izzy, Axl, and Ozzy as everyone else from the forest appeared. "What's wrong?" Kara asked.
"Something's wrong with Cindy. I'm not sure what. On the plus side, I got the crystal." James said chuckling.
Everyone he called in appeared. "What's wrong?" Grinch asked.
"Cindy's convulsing that's what's wrong." James said.
Donna gasped. "What happened to her?" She asked.
"I don't know. One moment, she's not in the room, the next, I find her like this." James said.
"How could you miss her?" Axl asked.
"That's the thing, I was distracted." James said.
"By what?" Clark asked.
"Hey people, let me save the girl's life here." James kindly begged.
James turned on the monitors. Cindy's heart rate and adrenaline were off the charts, going up and down every nanosecond.
"I'm gonna need a sedative." James yelled.
Dennis ran across and gave James a needle. "Thanks." James said as he was about to inject it, but suddenly, the lights began to flicker.
Everyone looked up at the lights in confusion.
"Do it!" Mavis yelled.
James went to inject it, but a blue force stopped him from doing so.
James looked at Cindy, her eyes going pure white.
"You have got to be flippity flopping gosh darning shipping kidding me!" James said slowly.
Cindy screamed as 5 orbs of energy appeared out of her stomach and floated above her.
"Take cover!" James yelled grabbing Dennis and jumping over a table.
Cindy's friends his behind a wall as everyone ran behind furniture.
The orbs flew across the room towards Groopert, Grinch, Izzy, Axl, and Ozzy and they fell down to the ground.
Then, Cindy dropped down drooped asleep.
When James and Dennis poked his head back up, he saw Cindy asleep. "Is this Heaven? Just the same world as the real world just with dead people?" James talked to himself.
"It feels like Hell." The Grinch said.
Everyone got back up. "What happened to her?" Clark asked.
"You see that's the thing Sups, I don't know. From my prediction, it had something to do with the infinity stones she once had in her." James said bringing out a scanner.
"Didn't she get rid of that?" Groopert asked.
"Yes, she did. But expect the unexpected, you know how you have leftovers for food, think of it like that. And from my predictions, something might've set her off and it did something that the orbs might've did something to Groopert, Grinch, Izzy, Ozzy, and Axl." James said.
"Can you find that out?" Axl asked before he felt like he was about to sneeze.
"I don't know. It could take days, maybe years in order to solve it." James said before Axl sneezed, having purple fire appear onto his sleeve.
Everyone saw it and began to panic.
Grinch screamed and threw his hands out, then water appeared from nowhere and splashed Axl, soaking him.
Grinch looked at his hand and he began to panic.
"What is going on!" Axl yelled.
"I don't know!" Grinch yelled.
"Calm down both of you!" James yelled.
"He sneezed out fire! Do you expect him to calm down?" Donna yelled.
"Wait, Grinch had a red orb fly into him, Axl a purple. Izzy had yellow, Izzy focus on me." James said.
"What?" Izzy asked.
"Just do it!" James yelled.
Izzy looked at James, and she suddenly heard these words. 'Banana-Rama. Banana-Rama. Banana-Rama.' He heard someone say.
Izzy looked around the room. "Who said that?" Izzy asked.
"No one said anything." Johnny said.
"Someone say something." Izzy said.
"That's enough to know what's happening. Apparently, something must've happened that caused 5/6 of the power of the stones to go into you guys. And now I'm going to have to deal with this all over again? Shoot." James said.
"Oh! Really?" Groopert asked.
"Yeah." James said.
"You know what, James why don't you just head upstairs, I can handle this." Alex said.
"Alright, whatever. Just give me a minute to process all this." James said before walking upstairs.
Mavis sighed and followed him. "Where are you going Mom?" Dennis asked.
"Checking on him." Mavis said before following James.
James went into his room and took a seat on the bed. He grabbed out a bag that had the infinity stones in them. "How do you things work?" James asked to himself before placing the bag down, next to an old photo of his family. Himself, Alex, Silena, Adam, David, and Beth taking a family photo.
James looked at the photo in rememberance. Thinking about how Silena, David, and Adam were doing today? Were Silena and Adam married? Was his father holding up? Was he out of the big house?
Just then, Mavis entered the room. "You ok?" Mavis asked.
"Yeah. Fine." James said placing the photo down.
"Who are they?" Mavis asked taking a seat next to James.
"Oh, my family. That's my sister Silena, her boyfriend Adam, and my father David." James said.
"Where are they now?" Mavis asked.
"Not sure," James said honestly "Hopefully they're holding up." James said.
"Are you planning on finding them?"
"No. Not really. I'm just going to let them live their lives for now, not having to deal with what we deal with." James said.
"But they're your family, shouldn't they know that you, Alex, and your mother are alive?"
"I feel like they should. But if they did, they would have to deal with all the villians, and accepting the fact that you guys are indeed real and not just from stories, and most importantly, adapting to a new life." James said.
"Ok. I'll let you do that." Mavis said walking out.
James sighed and grabbed the stones.

Back on Earth, Silena dragged Adam and the baby in midair over to a house.
She knocked on the door calmly.
After a minute of waiting patiently, her father David opened the door. "Silena?" David asked before he was knocked out by Silena with a mere punch.
Silena grabbed her father and another orange portal opened up and she fell through it along with the others.
And that was the first chapter! And yeah, this story is going to get brutal from here, not violent brutal, but emotionally brutal enough.
I came up with this idea thinking of it like this, in the first Team, James had to fight his inner demons, in this one, he has to fight his family who are controlled by a vampire, which is basically a demon.
Anyway, hope you guys are looking forward for more.
Also, this was my first time making my own cover for a story, and I'm sorry if it's not at all good.
