In Sonic's universe, Sonic is talking to Cas.

SONIC: Hey, Cas?

CAS: Yeah?

SONIC: I have this feeling that today... something seems off.

CAS: What makes you say that?

SONIC: Well, it just seems like some things, to me, are not what they were.

CAS: Name one thing.

SONIC: Alright then. Usually, there would be much more noise around here, but everything seems ominously... silent.

CAS: Hm. Now that you think about it, it does seem a little silent around here.

SONIC: And more so, Tails hasn't been the same either.

CAS: At least I'm still the same!

Cas hugs Sonic and he blushes.

SONIC: Eh-heh...

CAS: Should we see what's up?

SONIC: I think so.

The two begin to head to Tails.

CAS: You sure that something "out of the ordinary" might happen?

SONIC: I don't know. But judging by the title of this story, it's a pretty safe bet.

Cas elbows Sonic.

The two eventually get to Tails.

TAILS: Oh, hey guys!

CAS: Hey, Tails.

SONIC: Do you think something is off today?

TAILS: Yup. I calculated that a strong force is coming to our universe.

SONIC & CAS: WHAT?!

TAILS: Yeah. I think it's a portal, and I got the details of it, mainly it's name.

CAS: Name?

TAILS: I don't know why, but it is called "C-OVR"

SONIC: C-OVER... Hey, wait a minute! That means Crossover!

TAILS: I knew that as well.

Then. the screen beeps and a red message appears over the screen saying "Impact Imminent"

TAILS: Wuh-oh.

SONIC: Dang right, wuh-oh!

The portal falls to their universe and captures up Sonic, Cas, and Tails. After a few minutes, all 3 wake up in a large, pitch black room. and can see perfectly.

TAILS: I think this is another one of Eggman's plans...

CAS: Must be.

SONIC: Hey, is that a speaker?

All 3 look up and see a single speaker lit up with a light. Then a voice talks over it.

SPEAKER: Hello? Hello? Ah, hello. Welcome to this room. I am not evil, but I got paid to say and do this. I had to send a portal to your world because we are going to capture you and all of the others.

SONIC: Others?

SPEAKER: Yes indeedy! We are going to send over others from other dimensions. But the problem is that we can only send over others every minute.

CAS: Why is that?

SPEAKER: Budgetary restrictions.

CAS: Hey, you sound familiar to me...

SPEAKER: That's not important right now. Now let's SEND EM!
