On the sleek, dark, hardwood floor, a glass dove laid with it's wing broken on the ground. It was a clean break, just at the base. Both shadows of V and Vergil loomed over the scene, Vergil being the first to speak, "It was an accident." V's shadows swayed a bit, "It's alright, accidents happen." None moved to pick it up, but both just stared down at the scene. Vergil, being the first to move, put his arm around V's waist and pulled him closer, "At least you forgive me, I know it was a gift, but we all know things break in time." V replied by leaning his head against his husband, "That is correct, everything breaks at some point."
