Ike has no idea what was going on with his friends. One second he's inside Smash mansion inside the dining area and the next he's being dragged outside by his friend Link. He tried asking his friend what he was doing but Link remained silent ( which wasn't very surprising since he usually keeps to himself). Ike tried to remember when he and Link became friends. They met each other in brawl but they hadn't spoke to each other much. It was only during the Ultimate tournament that he became friends. Ike realized that the only reason that he and Link became friends was because Lucina had introduced them to each other.
Link had dragged Ike outside and was greeted with the sight of his friends and a big bus sitting in the driveway. Ike noted that the people standing in front of the the big vehicle were Mario, Lucina, Marth, Pit, Roy, Pikachu, Luigi, Kirby, and Palutena. Link joined the line of people in front of him and Ike simply stared in bewilderment. He looked at Mario and Mario stared back at him. "What the heck is going on?", Ike asked with a confused look.
"We are going on a road trip", Pit replied quickly. Ike guessed that he was too excited about a trip where he would be cramped with a bunch of people. It didn't really make sense to Ike about how people could be happy about being in a car with a bunch of strange people.
"What am I doing out here then", Ike said quietly. Lucina rolled her eyes at Ike's question stating, "Isn't it obvious, you're coming with us."
Ike's eyes widened when he heard this before he quickly put on a neutral expression. "I'm not going with you guys", Ike said defiantly. He didn't really feel like being surrounded by all these people. He doubted that he would feel comfortable with all the invasion of privacy that would probably happen due to lack of space. Ike knew that he would also make the other uncomfortable since he has and "Ominous aura" and he also believes he is a bad conversationalist.
Marth looked at Ike with a look that made it seem he was miles above Ike's height. Marth spoke in a tone that left no room for arguments saying, "I don't care what you think you are doing Ike, these people are taking time out of their busy lives to spend time with you and you should feel glad about the fact that they care so much about you. Now get on that bus before we all force you on".
"You people are unbelievable", Ike said with a small smile appearing on his face. Ike walked in front of Lucina and gave her a wink when he noticed that she was staring at him. Lucina has saw Ike's wink and a faint blush appeared on her face which didn't go unnoticed by Mario. One by one everyone got in bus. Mario had gotten into the driven seat with Luigi sitting beside him in the passenger seat. Ike sat in the back of the with Lucina, Roy, and Pikachu sitting near him. Pikachu rested himself on Pikachu a shoulder and Lucina sat next to Ike. Roy was seated in the row in front of the trio.
Suddenly when everyone was seated the engine turned on. There was a few seconds of pause and after the bus started to move everyone began to talk to each other. "Do you guys even know where we are going", Ike questioned. "I heard from Luigi that we were going to Florida", Roy said with a cheerful smile. Lucina spoke up with a counter to the statement Roy had just made, "I had heard from Mario that we were going to New York".
"The point is that we are traveling across the states and we don't even know where", Ike groaned. Roy spoke after a few seconds," The location shouldn't even matter Ike. Haven't you heard about the saying 'It's not about the destination, but about the Journey'". Ike only groaned louder when he heard that. "That was the stupidest thing I heard from you", Ike said loudly. Roy smiled,"Don't worry Ike there's plenty more where that came from". Ike groaned a third time. Lucina giggled loudly. "You both are idiots",Lucina said.
Suddenly everyone heard Pit cry out and turned their heads. "Luigi do me a favor and put this in the radio", Pit said confidently while handing him a CD labeled'Pit's road trip playlist'. Suddenly 'Party in the USA' by Miley Cyrus began to play. "Aw yeah this is my jam", Pit screamed as he began to dance in his seat. Everyone laughed out loud and some began to sing along to the song. Ike let out a quiet sigh as he whispered, "Y'know this trip might not be so bad after all". Ike began to close his eyes as he slowly drifted into a deep sleep. Ike knew he may not have been up for an road trip with his friends but he began to realize that there could be more to this trip if he gave it a chance so that's what he planned on doing. After all it couldn't get worse aside from horrible singing and terrible jokes right?

A/N: This is my first story so I apologize is it really isn't that good or to your liking. I don't really know how this whole writing thing works so it may take me awhile to get the hang of it so bear with me if it isn't that good. Even so I hope you liked it so far and I hope you will want to keep reading. Please feel free to leave me any tips or recommendations if you want to see this story change.
