The only thing that Doink could hear was the creaking of his muscles and bones as he tried to move. "What was I thinking coming here to try and fight this monster?" He whimpered as he finally succeeded in standing up.
A few days ago, his life was normal, he was just a normal kid going to a normal school until something bizarre happened. One day as he rode the elevator to get to his apartment, the lights suddenly started flashing, and the elevator began to shift and shake until it falling down, from the 4th floor to the basement. He awoke in a meadow, seemingly in the middle of nowhere.
Startled, he leaped onto his feet and, in doing so, realized that he remained unharmed. He then quickly scanned the area. He recognized it, but how? His thoughts were derailed as he heard a scream in the distance. Without thinking, he sprinted into the direction of the scream. Dashing into what appeared to be some kind of ruins, he saw something that only added to his confusion a boblokin, someone was getting attacked by a monster from a game he used to play. Then continuing his stupidity rampage, he picked up a rock and threw it at the beast. Only after the monster turned and started to attack him did Doink realize that he did, in fact, not have a weapon.
It was then that Doink did the first logical thing all day, RUN! He just managed to dodge the club it smashing into a wall next to his head, a large crackling noise reverberating from the impact. Ducking under the boblokin's arm, he dashed out of the ruins the boblokin running after him. Doink continued to run, unaware that he was actually running to a trap. He ran until he reached the bottom of a cliff. There he saw a small opening in the cliffside. Thinking he finally made it to a sanctuary, he was taken by surprise when he was smacked over the head with a club, and once again, his world went black.
*Beep Beep Beep*
Beeping, why did he hear beeping just a constant beeping? He wished it would stop. He wanted it to just be quiet.
Booooom echoes through the tunnels causing Doink to stir from his slumber. He awakes in a wooden cell deep in a cave. He struggled to open his eyes and look past the bars. On the other side was a boy about his age, long golden hair pulled into a ponytail scar marking the left side of his face, and a wolf with strange markings. He took a long blink when his eyes opened again, he was face to face with the wolf its icy blue eyes staring into his. *beep beep beep* and once again his vision turns dark.
The next time he woke up was alone lying in a bed in a small room. Struggling, he managed to sit up his head, still pounding. The motion caused his belly to empty itself onto the floor. Before Doink was able to try to stand someone knocked on the door and in came a boy about a year older than him. "Hi, I'm sky. We found you passed out in a cage in an enemy base are you feeling ok?" The boy asked. Doink's stomach decided to answer by once again releasing all content onto the floor.
"Well, it seems like you have a concussion," Skys said, waving his finger in front of Doinks eyes, trying to get them to focus. "I'll right back try not to move too much," he said before exiting the door.
A few minutes later, another boi with unruly curly brown hair came in. "Hi, I'm gonna heal you, so try not to move," he said before touching his forehead. The pain immediately subsided. "How did you do that? Who are you?"
"My name is Hyrule. I got rid of your concussion with magic. But I didn't heal all of your wounds so you should probably still get some rest. I'll leave you to get some." He said before leaving. Following his advice, Doink fell asleep once again hearing the sound of a familiar *beep beep beep*.
