Authors notes: This story will be told from the POV of Dylan. This is my first story. I am American so if I get any British spellings or words incorrectly then please don't be afraid to kindly point out the error to me through the reviews or PMs.

It was a nice, sunny day at 101 Dalmation Street, there were very few clouds in the sky and they were all fluffy and white. I was in the backyard helping my sister Da Vinci paint the brick wall that surrounded the backyard when we were called in for dinner by our mum.

Me and my 99 siblings rushed inside, most of us went to the table and waited for our bowls, but me, Dolly, and Dawkins went over to the kibble dispenser and started filling up the bowls so that mum and dad could give them to the rest of our siblings. After supper, my mum told us that she had an announcement that she needed to make.

I blew my whistle twice to get silence, but it was drowned out by the noise from all the talking, so I decided to use my dog whistle instead.

My mum stood up and smiling she said "Pups, tomorrow we are going to visit an old friend of mine, who is currently a member of an all dogs rescue team led by a single human. We will be taking a plane, as she lives across the ocean."

Dad stood up and said "We will need to be ready by 10 AM tomorrow as we are planning to get there at around 4:30 PM

"How are we supposed to get there by 4:30 PM if a flight to the US from the UK takes about 9 hours?" asked Dawkins.

"Because of the time difference of 5 hours", I said.

"Oh right", said Dawkins

"Dad, how long are we going to be staying over there for?" asked Dallas

Dad replied, "We are planning to stay for a week, accommodations have already been made for a place to stay while we are there."

"Is there a skate-park where we are going?" asked my oldest stepsister, Dolly

"No…"

"Where will I skateboard then?"

"There are plenty of things besides skateboarding, like hiking, skiing, and the beach." dad replied.

"OK, those sound fun," Dolly replied.

"Dawkins, do you have an airplane safety video that you can pull up?" I asked my younger, yet really intelligent brother.

"Yes, give me a minute or two."

"We might not want to watch one, but only because we will receive instructions if an emergency arises and the jet that we are taking isn't built anything like commercial planes"

"We can NEVER be too careful," I said

"We might as well review our airplane emergency evacuation plans" dad replied

"What is the most important thing to do in an emergency?" mom asked

"Accept our fate," said Dante in a deep and ominous voice.

"Grab our parachutes?" asked Triple D

"No, the most important thing to do is to listen to the pilot and plane crew for instructions, although parachutes may not be a bad idea," said mom

"Everyone go to bed now, we need to be ready when the jet gets here." said dad

"Here?" asked Dawkins in a slightly confused voice

"Yes here, but more specifically our backyard." said dad

"How is a jet even supposed to fit in the backyard?" I asked

"We won't need to worry about that as long as we move the trampoline," said mom

"I'm still not sure that a jet will fit in the backyard, besides how is it supposed to land without a runway?" Dawkins asked

"You will see in the morning, go to bed now." said mom

"OK, goodnight," I said

After everyone said goodnight, we all headed to bed.
