Olivia Benson was born in Manhattan, New York City but she was adopted when she was very young by the Jones family from the small town of Riverdale when she was very young after her mother Serena had perished in a horrible car accident and she grew up alongside her older adopted brother, FP, and his best friend, Fred Andrews and later Alice Smith and Hermoine Gomez. After experiencing an extremely traumatizing incident at the age of 17, Olivia decided that it was best for her to leave Riverdale behind and try to heal on her own. 14 years later, Olivia returns to Riverdale after a particularly painful breakup with her psychotic and abusive ex but she's not alone. She is being accompanied by her 14-year-old twin children: a daughter, Zoey and a son, Dylan whose father who still resides in the small town has no idea that either of them even exist. What will happen when Zoey and Dylan's father discovers that they are his children and will he be able to understand why Olivia chose not to tell him that she was pregnant before she left Riverdale all those years ago?
