First and only disclaimer: I do not own Percy Jackson, Star Wars, or any of their content. That belongs to Rick Riordan and Disney respectively.

Hello, and welcome to my new story. This is a story in which an original character is chosen by the Fates to go into the Percy Jackson universe and change things the Fates deem necessary, but with a twist. If this is your first time seeing my work, welcome and thank you for stopping by. I suggest you read the only other story on my account, it is completed and has a sequel in the works. If it isn't your first time, thanks for coming back. I am working on the sequel for The Betrayed Guardian, but I am going to be releasing that hopefully when I finish it, but if you guys want, I'll release at roughly the halfway point and work from there. This however, is something that you can read while you wait, and is also a great way for me to test myself with somewhat original content and characters. Hope you all enjoy, and it is with great pleasure that I present to you, drumroll please…. "The Second Thief"

I walked home after a long day of school. I suppose I should introduce myself. My name is Lucas, and I'm 14 years old. I'm a huge fan of books and movies. My favorite book series is probably the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series, as well as the sequel, Heroes of Olympus. My favorite movie series is probably the Star Wars Saga. I personally don't hate any of the movies as I like to think that they all expand the universe in their own way, even if some people disagree with how it happens.

Where was I, oh yeah, I was walking home from school. My house is only a 10 minute walk from my school, which is actually a lot closer than it may seem, however, I do live in New York City so my mom doesn't like me walking alone. I'm generally not too liked at school, seeing as I read a lot, so I don't have many friends. Really, I don't have any. I'm the kid that sits at a lunch table with a lot of other people, but just sits on their phone reading instead of talking. It might be rude, but I personally prioritize reading over relationships that won't last past college, if that.

My parents don't exactly like that habit of mine, my mom calls me anti-social, which I mean… yeah. I do have peoples numbers in my phone, but I can only text them as I don't have any class with the people I might consider to be friends if I did, the only texting is a barrier we can't break until next year, seeing as my friend's parents don't exactly like inviting people over that they don't know, and neither do mine.

But enough about me. I walked into the bodega at the halfway point of my walk. I'm good friends with the owner, Mr. George, a 40 year old man, seeing as I come in almost every school day. "Hey Mr. George." I greet, walking to the back to grab a bag of chips.

"Hey Lucas, how's your folks?" asks Mr. George.

I walk up to the counter and put the chips on it, as well as the soda I grabbed on my way up. "They're good. Mom still worries and Dad still doesn't make as big of a deal as mom does." I say.

"That's good kid. You know, your mom is right to be worried. The streets of New York City are dangerous, even if you're only on them for a few minutes. Just be careful kid, you're one of my only reliable customers." says Mr. George.

"Glad to know you care Mr. George." I say, pulling out the money for the snacks.

"For that comment, 8 dollars." he says.

"Come on, it's only 5."

"8 dollars."

"Here's 5." I say.

"Fine." grumbles Mr. George.

"Have a nice day Mr. George." I say.

"Stay out of trouble, or you might end up like me." he says, gesturing to the small store around him.

"What do you mean, this place is amazing!" I say. I say, walking out the door. He just laughs behind me. I snack on my chips as I walk down the street, casually weaving through the crowd of people. I decide to take a shortcut through an alley to hopefully get home that little bit faster. It went pretty well, until I came across the three old ladies in the alley.

They definitely look homeless, wearing rags and having dirty bandages wrapped around their hands. I don't see anywhere that they could be taking shelter, but that doesn't mean that they don't have any, it's common for beggers to beg away from their shelters. I spent all of my money at Mr. George´s, but I still want to help them, my mom says not to give money to the homeless anyways, because they might spend it on drugs, or something else they could be addicted to, just give them food or water. They´re sitting on the ground, with a can in front of them.

¨Young man, do you think you could spare any money for some poor, homeless old ladies?¨ asks the middle one.

¨Sorry, I'm out of money right now, but you can have my drink and the rest of my chips. It's all I got.¨ I say.

¨What a kind young man, you will do nicely.¨ says the one on the left.

¨Huh?¨ I ask. The three ladies stand up, and the rags fall off of them. They now wore simple, white cotton gowns. The one on the right holds a large, electric blue sock. The one on the left holds the ball of yarn. The one in the middle holds a pair of gold and silver scissors, almost the size of shears.

¨We mean, Lucas Davis, that we, The Fates, have chosen you to help us.¨ says the one in the middle.

¨Lady Fates.¨ I say, ¨No offense, but I didn't know you were real. I thought you just existed in the Percy Jackson universe.¨

¨Yes, the boy. Perseus Jackson. Well, we don't exist in your universe. We are from your so called, ´Percy Jackson´ universe. We came to the world, where his exploits are written as fiction, looking for a soul willing to help us. As you know from the events of ´The Trials of Apollo´, the Triumvirate funded Kronos's army and gave aid to Camp Jupiter during their brief siege of Camp Half-Blood. In short, they caused lots of death that shouldn't have happened, they interfered with fate itself. We will take you into our universe, should you accept, and we will make you a demigod, as well as give you three things to help in your own quest." explains the one on the right.

"Umm, ok. Wasn't expecting this on my way home. Say I accept, what about my life here? What about my parents and my little sister?" I ask.

The one on the left answers me, "Should you accept, you will be taken from this universe and brought to ours. At the end of your quest, you will be given a choice, stay, or come back. If you come back, we will take you back to the moment after you left, it will be as if you never left."

"Where would I start, and what if I decide to stay?" I ask.

"We would put you in our universe about a week before when the book, 'The Lightning Thief', takes place. If you decide to stay, and don't die… you must remember that is a very possible outcome… but if you decide to stay, you will live out the remainder of your life in our universe, and when you die, you will be judged in the Underworld. You will not return to your universe, and your family here will think you lived with them for as long as they lived."

I could die… but I could also go into my favorite fictional world and do what any fan would want, get to be a demigod. Preferably without dying, but still. "What are the things you would give me?" I ask.

"We are waiting until you accept the offer, as we want this to be up to you, not because of things you would get." says the middle one.

I think it over. If I do accept and die, I won't ever see my family again. If I don't accept, I'm assuming I'll just go on my way. If I accept, complete the mission, and decide to come back, I'll probably be different. If I accept, complete, and stay, then my family will be fine without me actually being here, and I'll be happy, hopefully. Well, do I want to risk my pretty safe, mediocre life here, for the life of adventure, action, risk, and danger that comes with being a demigod?

"I'll do it." I say, and with those three words, my life changed.

"Very well." they say all at the same time. "Step forward, so that we may bestow our blessings and gifts upon you." I step forward, slightly nervous. The one in the middle touches my forehead with a finger and suddenly I'm surrounded by darkness. The Fates are no longer there, and I'm alone in a world of black.

Suddenly, a voice speaks out from the darkness. "We give you three gifts. A weapon, a power, and the means to learn to use them both properly. First, your weapon." A silver and black metal cylinder appears before me. I pick it up, and turn it in my hands. It's just long enough for me to put both hands on it with a little bit of spare room. The design looks familiar but I can't put a name to it.

I see a switch on the side and I flick it. A blue beam of energy emerges from the end facing away from me. "Woah, is this a lightsaber?"

"Indeed it is, young one. This is your own lightsaber, not modelled after any other from the universe it comes from. Your power, as you may have guessed, is to be the Force. You will be force-sensitive in our universe, and will be able to do anything seen in the movies." says the voice, which I recognize as the Fates all talking at the same time.

"How will I know what to do with either of them, I would probably chop my own arm off with this thing." I say, holding up my new lightsaber.

"Well, to do with your first point, our last gift is two different things. Books discussing each of the 7 accepted forms of lightsaber combat in length, and a book about how to use the Force properly. Keep in mind that you will have both dyslexia and ADHD in our universe as you are a demigod, but your dyslexia won't affect you when reading these books, meditating however, will be up to you to figure out." says the Fates.

"Now, you will be brought to our world, it is up to you to figure out your godly parent, make it to Camp Half-Blood, and save as many lives as you can. You must remember that the more you change, the less accurate your knowledge will be. Now go forth, Champion of the Fates, Demigod, Padawan Learner, Lucas Davis, and do what you were brought here to do."

That's the introduction chapter. This is always the hardest to write for me because I have to set up so many things in one chapter. I do want to make this into a series, going through each book and trying to fix things that could have been avoided. Anyways, I want this to go all the way through HOO but if I do lose interest or hit a huge block, then that probably won't happen. Each book will get it's own respective story, as you can tell, this one will be about "The Lightning Thief". I wasn't sure if I should classify this as a crossover because according to , the classifications for a crossover are "a story that includes characters or themes from 2 catagories." This doesn't have characters or themes from Star Wars, only the lightsaber and the Force, I will still be classing it as a crossover however, I hope you all enjoy it. Feel free to let me know what you think of this first chapter and if this is something you would like to see continue. Criticism is welcome, but don't review things like, "Wow this story is so bad, why would anyone read this!" because that's not helpful, criticism is things you don't like about the story and ways to fix it. Yes, I have had reviews like that and I personally kind of ignore them because they're just trying to hate something they likely have no idea how to do. I mean writing when I say that, not the fictionals worlds these stories take place in. However, if you don't know anything about either of those, definitely don't place a review screaming how bad this is without saying what is bad because you're definitely just trying to be a butt at that point. Anyways, see you later, and I hope you all want this to become a series.
