A/N: So while I was at school, I had this great idea for a fanfiction. What if Scourge had not killed Tigerstar, and instead of Firestar killing Scourge, it was the other way around? How would it play out? Read, enjoy, and review if you please.
DISCLAIMER: I DON'T OWN WARRIORS
Scourge padded into the clearing, followed by the rest of Bloodclan, as well as Tigerstar, Shadowclan and Riverclan. Shadowclan and Riverclan had earlier united under the name of Tigerclan. They were met by Firestar, Windclan and the rest of Thunderclan, but as of now they are united under the name of Lionclan. Scourge sneered. What a pitiful attempt to stop me! He approached Firestar, with Tigerstar a3t his side.
"Give up Firestar! You're not going to beat me!" yelled Scourge, unsheathing and flexing his claws. Soon he would feel and hear the flesh rip as he clawed his way into their ranks. He would savor every moment.
Firestar and Tallstar padded up to Scourge, both of them staring at him with immense fury. "Stand down, Scourge, and leave the forest now, and no harm will come to you! Or, you stay and fight, and I will kill to protect our forest, our home!" Scourge lightly laughed at this, feeling amused at their determination to protect thier homes. Tallstar glared at Scourge, a question bubbking up inside of him. "And what's so funny about that, Scourge?" Scourge ignored his question, and instead continued laughing. By this time, his laughing could be heard across the soon to be battlefield, and the so-called "Lionclan" was confused. Why was he laughing? Then, out of nowhere, more cats wearing similar collars to Scourge's padded out, each one was growling and had their claws unsheathed.
"It seems that you are outnumbered, Lionclan!" Scourge said the last word with a snarl, making it seem like it was a curse. "On my command…" he said to Bloodclan, readying them for the attack.
Firestar and Tallstar tried to talk him out of it. "Scourge, if you do this, you will die." Firestar warned. Scourge just chuckled lightly.
"You have no idea what you're dealing with, Kittypet!" Tigerstar snarled, staring at Firestar with greater fury than the Thunderclan leader. Scourge raised his tail for silence, and Tigerstar glanced at him with anger, but nonetheless stopped talking.
"Last chance, Firestar." Scourge said, flicking his tail from side to side. Firestar stared at him, fury and anger filling his glare once again. Scourge can already tell what the ginger was going to say before he even opened his muzzle.
"Very well, Scourge. You will have your fight. But we will defeat you. I will see to that myself." Firestar snarled, seemingly staring right through Scourge. The ferocious Bloodclan leader padded back to his side, as well did Firestar and Tallstar. Tigerstar unwillingly followed Scourge, clearly disappointed that he didn't get to shred the Thunderclan leader.
"We shall see, Firestar. We shall see." And with that, Bloodclan charged forward, therefore starting the battle for the forest. Scourge had stood in that same spot for the first few seconds, but then a Thunderclan cat had tried to attack him, reaching forward his claws in hope to kill the Bloodclan leader. Scourge ducked and twisted, using his front paws to sweep the opponent's legs out from under him. Using this to his advantage, Scourge flashed out his claws and sliced them through the cat's throat, watching in joy as he saw the body twitch and eventually fall limp. Blood was still pouring out of the cat's throat even after he died.
Scourge looked to the side to see another cat staring at him in horror. "Y-you killed Whitestorm!" Scourge revelled in this cat's horror, watching him as his eyes darted from him to his dead comrade. HA! These Thunderclan cats are easy to kill! They don't even guard their throats! Scourge walked toward the cat, ever so calm. The cat started to back away for a minute, then stood his ground and growled. Hmm...These cats sure are persistent, thought Scourge, surprised that this cat hadn't ran away when he saw him slaughter his friend.
"Graystripe! It's not worth your life!" Scourge turned his head and saw Firestar, running toward his friend. So that's this cat's name!
Graystripe looked at Firestar, anger clearly looked angry. "But Firestar! He killed Whitestorm!" Firestar looked solemnly at Whitestorm's dead body, laying sprawled on the ground, blood crusted at his throat.
"I too cannot bear to see our friend like this, but it is not worth your life trying to avenge Whitestorm. I will take care of this. Go and help the others." And at that last sentence, Graystripe bounded away to help his clanmates.
Firestar turned to Scourge, preparing for his battle with the Bloodclan leader.
