Chapter 1: On the Run
Their physical relationship had started while on the run that terrible year, searching for the horcruxes. It had been a year full of desperation, fear, and for Harry and Hermione, a deep longing for the ones they left behind, unaware of the feelings that both kept buried deep for fear of rejection. Despite the longing for those who held their hearts at Hogwarts, Harry and Hermione clung to each other and when Ron left them, the despair was almost too great.
"Hermione?" whispered Harry as he quietly moved the canvas flap to the side that divided her room from his.
"Yes, Harry", choked out Hermione, furiously wiping the tears from her face as she turned around in her bed to face him. Olive eyes locked with teary chocolate and before either knew what was happening lips were fused together as desperate kisses were traded in a frenzy tv. When the need to breathe became a necessity Harry pulled back, realizing he had somehow ended up on top of Hermione in her bed.
"I'm sorry" Harry said embarrassed as he slowly got up and sat at the end of her bed while fixing his now askew glasses and trying to not bring attention to the tent in his faded plaid pajama pants.
"It's alright, Harry" she pleaded while sitting up to lean the front of her body against his back. Panting slightly, she nervously reached around to lightly touch the tent that was rather obvious in Harry's pajamas bottoms. Harry hissed between his teeth as he hardened under the soft almost hesitant caresses. "Please Harry, we need to feel something other than this" she stated as her grip became more confident on Harry's by this point very rigid member.
Harry's cheeks tinged pink at Hermione's bold actions and soft words. "Are you sure this is what you want?" he asked, not wanting this to ruin their friendship but at the same time needing this as much as Hermione seemed to. No words were spoken as Hermione took Harry's glasses and set them on the small table next to her bed and stood while pulling the oversized tee shirt over her head leaving her left only in a pair of white boy briefs. "I'm sure Harry, we will be fine. We love each other already, maybe we are not in love but I trust you Harry." "Ok" , was his only response as they moved towards each other, both needing the other to escape if only for a little while.
