p class="Standard"I decided to call my cousin. My cousin, Annabeth Chase, payed an early visit to my coffin before the funeral and saw me so she knows I'm not actually dead. Hooray! So, she told me to call her when I got the chance and to make plans for a meetup to exchange stories./p

p class="Standard"Today I decided to actually call her. The place was, of course, Fladlan's Falafel. We decided on tomorrow at one. I told her to go alone and I'll be alone too even though I really wanted to bring Alex/p

p class="Standard"There was an hour before I had to meet with Annabeth. I was nervous about it because I wasn't sure if she would believe me. She might call the cops or something like that. On the phone she said her own life was pretty crazy, but she couldn't have gone through more then me in her whole life then I have in the past month./p

p class="Standard"She probably was just having school problems and other simple things. Now, if it was about a guy, she was going to get a real good talking to./p

p class="Standard"I was in Valhalla, so I went over to Alex's room to rant about my fears. I knocked on the door and, in a moment, Alex was at door with her pink and green clothes and goatee in her hand… I got off track. She looked at me expecting something then I realized I saw staring./p

p class="Standard"I turned a deep shade of red and stuttered out an apology./p

p class="Standard""S-sorry Alex."/p

p class="Standard""What do you want Maggie?" She replied bored as usual. strong(Alex was feeling feminine today)/strong/p

p class="Standard""Oh, nothing important just wanted to see how you were doing." I said realizing that she would make fun of me for ranting about Annabeth./p

p class="Standard""I'm doing fine, I guess. Bye." She said as she was shutting the door./p

p class="Standard""W-wait!" I told her putting my foot to stop the door./p

p class="Standard""I-I was wondering if I could talk to you about... Stuff." I quickly told feeling quite awkward./p

p class="Standard"I could tell she was stressed but I wasn't sure why. There were pieces of pottery telling me that she shattered some. I was sort of scared of what would happen if I upset her right now./p

p class="Standard""So? Spill." She demanded sitting on her bed./p

p class="Standard""Well, my cousin Annabeth is meeting up with me in an hour and I'm telling her about Norse gods and everything but I'm scared she'll think I'm or call the police or something like that, but she said she had a hard life too but that must mean just school and other normal teenage girl problems right? p class="Standard"I breathed in and out trying to remain calm and I checked the time on my watch. Thirty minutes until Annabeth. I took a sharp breath./p

p class="Standard""Can you help me get ready? There's only thirty minutes left." I desperately asked her my palms sweating./p

p class="Standard""Sure. I always knew you would come to beg me for my amazing fashion advice."/p

p class="Standard"With that we headed to my room and Alex helped me get ready./p

p class="Standard"Little did I know that there was a door to whole new world I've never even heard of and my cousin was the key to that door./p
