Recently I got asked by Connor why we were doing this. Not specifically our motives, but why us? I had no answer for him and so I sought the answers for myself. The journey for this answer brought me to our school where our adventure had truly began. It wasn't a school day, but plenty of people I once called friends were hanging around. They were all talking about what had happened, the whole world was. Whole countries I've never even seen or heard of are talking about that day, the day we realized we weren't as alone in this universe as we thought. Rita's invasion should've been a major blow to our society, it should've shaken all of our core beliefs and changed who we all were at the core of our being. But, nothing has really changed. The world continues to turn despite Rita's attacks.

There was only one thing that came to mind when I thought of why everything was still okay and that's us, the Power Rangers. People all around the world aren't just talking about Rita, they're talking about me-us. The Power Rangers from their one simple debut has given hope across the world. With the answer still in the back of my mind, I head over to the park where we had made our first debut, our first Morph. We had absolutely no idea what we were doing, but somehow it worked and it set Rita back. It made the world realize that there was someone on their side, it didn't matter who was behind the helmet. That's when it struck me, I had my answer.

The Power Rangers have become a symbol for everyone to look up to. Yes, we were chosen, but it wasn't because we were special. We're just a bunch of teenagers who got way in over our heads. I'm not sure what Zordon sees in us, maybe he saw what we would become for the world, I don't know. But, to the world, they see us as heroes and hope for their families and life to stay normal. Yes, maybe the world is a bit too calm and yes, maybe it should have changed to fit this invasion, but it didn't. You know what? I'm okay with that because when I went home, I saw my sister, my Mom, and my Dad still smiling and laughing like nothing had ever changed. And who'd have thought that all this hope came from three simple words?

"ITS MORPHIN TIME!"

I realize this is very short, but it was just a small thing I wrote last year and forgot to post. Be sure to check out my current Power Rangers story, "Power Rangers: Aura Masters"! If anyone wants to get caught up on this universe, there is a comprehensive watching order on my profile.
