Bitten

Tori was honestly about to fall asleep. It was Friday, 1 minute before the bell was about to ring, sitting in Sikowitz's class, bored out of her mind.

Then the bell rang.

Tori was out of that class before the bell stopped ringing, and out of the building before anyone else even got out of their seat, and in her car before anyone had reached their locker.

Then Tori's phone rang.

She got it out of her pocket and looked to see who it was. It displayed 'No Caller ID'

"What..." Tori muttered to herself before hanging up.

A second later it buzzed again, but this time she answered.

"Hello?" Tori said, a little scared.

"Tori?" Jade's voice sounded through her phone.

"Jade?" Tori asked. "Why are you calling me?"

Since you rocketed out of school, I never got to ask you if... maybe... you wanted to hang out tomorrow?" Jade asked, and Tori could sense the nervousness in her voice.

"Uh, yeah, that sounds like fun. I guess I'll see you tomorrow then at your house." Tori said excitedly.

"Yeah, be there 11ish. Bye, Tori."

"Bye Jade." Tori said.

'Yes,' Tori thought. 'Something to do this weekend!'

But she didn't know what was was watching her as she got out of her car, or why Jade invited her over.

LINE BREAK LINE BREAK LINE BREAK

I was taking a walk, listening to Kesha, before something jumped out at her as she was walking in the park.

She tried to scream, but whatever it was- a large, rabid dog, wolf, coyote- bit her in the shoulder.

As her vision started to fade, she realized it was a wolf- with glowing red eyes.

ANOTHER LINE BREAK ANOTHER LINE BREAK

Tori groaned, but then stopped as all that was heard was a low growl.
As she looked down, she saw two light gray paws, looking cross eyed, she saw a light gray snout.

Tori yelped and jumped back, confused. It slowly registered through her mind- she was just bitten by a werewolf!

'I thought those were myths!' Tori thought, slowly getting up. Then she realized there must be a way to change back! She thought of herself as a human, and slowly felt herself change. When she looked down she saw her normal body with her clothes on still.
Tori pulled out her phone to check the time.

"11 o' clock! I'm going to be late to Jade's!" She said, running back to her house, getting in her car, and driving over to Jade's.

When she got there, she checked the time again.

"11:16," she muttered, "barely late."

As she ran up and rang the doorbell, she couldn't help but think about the raven-haired beauty.

As she heard rhe door open, she snapped back into reality. It was Jade, in a black shirt and black skinny jeans.

Tori couldn't help but admire her beauty.

'She looks good,' Tori thought, and she agreed with herself.

"Well," Jade said, "Are toy going to come inside or what?"

Tori blushed and walked inside.

"Tori, I just wanted to say I'm sorry about how I've treated you." Jade said shyly.

"The great Jade, apologizing?" Tori said jokingly, before looking at the goth and noticing she was serious.

"But, apology accepted!" Tori said excitedly.

Jade was obviously happy.

"Maybe you want to watch a movie or something?" Jade asked, knowing she had no idea what they were going to do.

Jade's POV

'Jeez,' I thought, 'What are we going to do?'

"Maybe you want to watch a movie or something?" I asked out of ideas.

"Yeah, that sounds like fun." Tori said.

I grabbed 'The Scissoring,' put it in the DVD player, and sat on the couch. Tori plopped down next to me.

As the movie started, I could tell she was scared. As soon as the first scare came, she cuddled into me and hid her head in my neck. I looked down at her, smiling, and cuddled into her. We stayed like that for the rest of the movie, only turning our heads to see, and even stayed like that after the movie ended.

After 15 minutes of cuddling in pure silence, Tori hummed and said "Jade?"

"What?" I asked.

"Can I tell you something?" Tori asked.

"Tori, you can tell me anything." I said.

'Jeez,' I thought, 'She's super cute when she's nervous.'

She got out of the cuddle ball we had going on.

"So, I was going on a walk last night through the park, and this huge wolf jumped out and bit me." She said.

I gasped, scared she was hurt.

"Are you okay? Where did it bite you?"
"On my shoulder." Tori said.

In pulled off her hoodie, and, yes, it was torn a bit at the right shoulder. Then, she took off her shirt, and instead of a bite, there was a weird wolf tattoo.

"What the..." I muttered, confused.

"And... now I can change onto a wolf." She said quietly.

"Can I see?" I asked, excited. Tori nodded and began to glow gold. As it started to grow faint, a wolf emerged.

"Oh my god," I said, "You're so cute!"

I started petting her, nut she got up and started walking to my room.

I got up and started following her.
"Hey Tori?" I said. "Maybe...you want to sleep over tonight?"

Tori looked up at me, nodding her head rapidly, and jumped up on me, licking my hand. We walked over to my bed and Tori laid down next to me in a ball.

"You're going to sleep like that? I asked, and Tori nodded her head.

I snuggled into her soft fur.

"I invited you over, Tori, and please stay in wolf form when i say this. I can't bear to see your reaction. I really like you. I think you're beautiful and super nice. I love you." I said, and Tori got up, looked me straight in the eyes, and started licking me all over.

'I love you too.' Tori's voice rang in my head. I didn't even question how that happened. Tori curled up beside me, her snout facing my face, and i kissed her on the nose.

"Sleep well." I said. I got a lick as her response. Then, we both fell asleep.
