Author's Note: This Fanfic aims to entertain those who read it, it is not a debate between the mascot of SEGA and the scarlet runner of DC comics. Both characters are good for those who are fans of both franchises, so enjoy the fanfic.

Barry Allen, better known as "Flash", was running at great speed after he, along with the Justice League, once again defeated Lex Luthor's plans with other villains.
Flash: "Uff, there is nothing better to do than to run" –he said to himself as he hurried.
Flash ran from one side to another in the city until he ran into a building and stopped and sat on the edge of the building. Barry watched the city and relaxed for a while after his hard work. After a few minutes of rest, someone was calling from his communicator and it was Batman.
Flash: "Batman, friend, what counts?" –He answered from the communicator.
Batman: "Barry, we need you to come, an anomaly is occurring in the forests of Oakland" –he said.
Flash: "What thing?"
Batman: "We don't know with skill what it is, but we need you to come just in case"
Flash: "Don't worry, I'll be there in a few moments" –he said while hanging up the call.
At that, Barry got up and started running as fast as possible and arriving at the place Batman had told him to. After a few seconds, Barry encountered Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern who were seeing the anomaly.
Flash: "Alright, I'm here, what's going on?" –he ask his team.
Hence, Barry noted that lightning revolving around was the anomaly Batman had told him. Barry stared at the spinning rays for brief seconds until Green Lantern spoke to him.
Green Lantern: "Apparently that thing appeared minutes after we defeated Lex and his gang of villains" –he told Flash.
Wonder Woman: "We still don't know the causes of this anomaly" –she said.
Flash moved a little closer to the anomaly and he put a finger to try to touch it, but a lightning bolt hit Flash's finger and he quickly took his finger out after feeling the shock.
Superman: "Maybe we should review this anomaly before something bad happens" –he said.
Batman: "The Man of Steel is right, he should do a quick analysis before something from another era or dimension comes out of there" –he said.
In that, the lightning bolts started to spin too fast and that caught the attention of the Justice League which quickly backed off and the lightning bolts went insane until they rotated as fast as possible which would cause a portal to open. The Justice League watched that and Batman pulled out a detector and pointed it at the portal.
-Unknown Access-
Batman: "That I did not expect, the detector does not indicate anything on Earth where this portal comes from" –he told the others.
Flash: "Well, maybe I can investigate it" –he said as he ran towards the portal.
Barry stopped almost near the portal and he observed something in the portal.
Flash: "Guys, I am observing something" –he said to them.
Batman: "Anything from what?" –he ask him.
Flash: "Well ... I can't see exactly who, but maybe I can ..."
However, the portal was sucking him in and Barry was trying to get out of there, but the portal was so strong that not even his speed could save him and he quickly ducked into the portal, leaving the Justice League in shock.
Batman: "Flash!"
In that, the portal disappeared and the Justice League was stunned by what they saw.
Wonder Woman: "This can't be, that portal took Barry" –she said.
Green Lantern: "It's true, but where did that portal rule?" –he ask.
Batman: "I'm not sure, but we're going to find him, whatever it is" –he told them.
Superman: "Well then, let's go" –he said.
In that, the Justice League left the forest to go directly to the Hall of Justice and solve the puzzle behind the portal where it took Flash with it.

Barry spun all around him and he noticed that he was in a dimensional vortex that was sucking on him forcibly. Barry ran with all his might to control his gravity, but the vortex was stronger than him.
Flash: "Hell, I must know how to get out of this vortex" – he said to himself while looking anywhere.
The dimensional vortex was sucking him in even more until Barry managed to hear voices and he observed as a kind of hologram that was getting closer to him. Barry couldn't see exactly what it was about, but the only thing he could hear was an explosion and quickly the vortex took him towards the hologram which was actually the entrance to another world.
-Universe of Sonic the Hedgehog-
Barry stepped out of the portal where it was opened and automatically closed while he looked around at a large base that was nearly hit and damaged.
Flash: "Wow, it looks like I was sent to this base" –he told himself.
At that, Barry observed a man falling from a machine and he went to help him.
Flash: "Hey man, are you okay?" –She said as she helped him up.
Barry helped the person and he observed that it was a person with a heavier weight, bald, wearing blue glasses and one more pair on the bald head. He too had a long mustache.
"Who are you?" –he ask Flash.
Flash: "Oh well, my name is Flash. I think I was sent by a portal that was mined in my world. What's your name?" –he ask the person.
"My name is Dr. Eggman, the perfected and brilliant genius who has seen this world" –he said as he adjusted his red jacket.
Flash looked at the place and deduced that something bad had happened here.
Flash: "Dude, you should have some remodeling for your base, it is as if a fight happened moments ago" –he said.
Suddenly, Dr. Eggman looked at his base and put on a surprised expression after seeing that all his robots and some things had been destroyed. Hence, Eggman observed his aides Cubot and Orbot who were going for their boss.
Orbot: "Sir, are you alright?" –he ask Eggman.
Cubot: "It seems that your plan did not turn out as usual, sir" –he said.
That comment caused an Eggman growl as he looked at Cubot. Barry observed that behind the robots, a giant cube was about to fall on the robots and that happened, however, Barry ran with his speed and thus saving the robots, causing Eggman to be impressed by that.
Flash: "Uff, that really was close" –he said while looking at the giant cube know embedded in one of its pointed sides on the ground.
Barry released the robots and Eggman approached the sprinter.
Eggman: "Woah, that was awesome, is that your power?" –he ask him.
Flash: "Oh well, let's say a lightning bolt that destroyed a box full of chemicals, which spilled on me and the result was my great speed, yes"
Eggman: "Uhm… interesting. And tell me, how much speed can you run?"
Flash: "I can run at the speed of light, even more" –he said with a tone of pride.
Without Barry noticing, Eggman had a wicked smile after hearing that statement.
Flash: "And tell me, what happened here exactly?"
Upon hearing that question, Eggman thought of a plan for his evil ends.
Eggman: "Oh, you don't know how catastrophic it has happened" –he said in a tone of pain –"What happened is that I was building an important project with objects called Chaos Emeralds that were taken from me" –he said.
Flash: "Who was it that stole those emeralds?"
Eggman: "Sonic!" –He said as he raised a fist and clenched it.
Flash: "Sonic? Who is that?" –he ask the scientist.
Eggman: "Sonic is a totally evil blue hedgehog that has made a pittance at my base, he used the Chaos Emeralds to send him into the unknown dimension, but I swear I didn't know about your world" –he said.
Flash: "Uhm… well, I will believe you. And are those emeralds so important?"
Eggman: "You can not imagine, these emeralds have extremely impressive power and I need them to dominate ... I wanted to say, save this world from Sonic" –he said with a nervous smile.
Flash thought for a few seconds and looked at Eggman.
Flash: "Well it's just a blue hedgehog, I can give you the emeralds without a problem. But on the condition that you return me to my world" –he told the scientist.
Eggman: "Oh, don't worry, that will be your maximum reward" –he said.
Flash: "Besides, I think that getting the emeralds will be a piece of cake, after all, we are talking about a simple hedgehog"
Eggman: "Well, regarding that ... Sonic has the ability to run at the speed of light"
That statement made Barry roll his eyes, now he knew that there was a being with capabilities equal to him, which made it very interesting for him.
Flash: "I'll see that. Now I need to know where it is" –he said to Eggman.
Eggman: "Well, Sonic is always anywhere, you just have to look for a blue hedgehog that is accompanied by a fox with two tails or a red echidna"
Flash: "Well, in that case I will go to retrieve those emeralds and stop this Sonic once and for all" –he said.
Eggman: "Oh thank you very much, you will be doing a great favor to this world" –he said.
Flash: "Okay, I'll be back with those emeralds" –he said.
At that, Flash sped out of base and the moment he left, Eggman started laughing after having succeeded with his plan.
Cubot: "And now why are you laughing?" –he ask Orbot.
Orbot: "No idea" –he said.
Eggman: "This is incredible, I managed to fool that guy and I will finally have the Chaos Emeralds again" –he said while imagining having an emerald in his hand.
Cubot: "Right, not to mention that he has the ability to run at high speed just like Sonic"
Eggman: "That is what makes it very interesting, now Sonic will have to face someone with the same abilities as him"
Orbot: "And when you get the 7 emeralds, what will you do with the sprinter?"
Eggman: "I told him I would give him a reward, and that would be a journey into the unknown dimension"
Cubot: "I mean that he betrayed him?"
Eggman: "Well, sooner or later I would discover my true intentions, that's why I have to get rid of him" –he said as he went to his workshop.
Orbot and Cubot stayed in the destroyed middle base while Eggman began to plan his conquest plan once more and wait for the Flash to return along with the Chaos Emeralds.

Flash was running at full speed searching anywhere in the world for Sonic, just as Eggman had told him, he had to find a blue hedgehog and that's it.
Flash: "Okay, I just have to give the scientist those emeralds and he will return me to my world, that's all" –he told himself.
Running in a large forest, on the edge of the sand, very close to the sea, Barry managed to find his main target, Sonic.
Flash: "So this is Sonic, I will have to be very stealthy" –he said as he ran and hid in some big rocks embedded in the sand.
Sonic was very relaxed in the arena while being accompanied by Tails along with Knuckles while the Tornado was almost close to them.
Tails: "We did a good job in recovering the Chaos Emeralds" –he said while they had the 7 emeralds under him.
Knuckles: "Yes, Eggman won't be able to use them for a long time now"
Sonic: "Right, the stubby mustache would do the same as always, but as we all know, I stop him" –he said as he got up from the ground.
Flash was being totally cautious as he watched Sonic who put the 7 emeralds in a bag.
Sonic: "Well Tails, it's time to put these emeralds to a safe place" –he said.
Tails: "You're right, Sonic"
Suddenly, a rush of reddish speed passed over Sonic and that caused the bag containing the emeralds to no longer have him.
Sonic: "What the ...?!" –He said as he looked to his right.
In that, the Sonic Team observed a person in a red and yellow suit and wore a lightning symbol in the middle of his chest and to his surprise, he carried the bag with the emeralds.
Sonic: "Hey, who are you and why did you take the emeralds from me?" –he ask him.
Flash: "My name does not matter, it is time for your evil to end now, Sonic" –he said.
Sonic was somewhat confused, he heard the person saying that his evil had ended, something that neither he nor the others understood.
Sonic: "What are you talking about? I am not evil" –he replied.
Flash: "Typical of a villain, saying that he is not evil and then really is"
In that, Knuckles had lost patience.
Knuckles: "It's over, give me back the emeralds right now" –he said in a demanding and threatening tone.
Flash: "If you want it, you will have to take it from my hands" –he said to the echidna.
Without hesitation, Knuckles ran to Flash to beat him up and when the echidna approached where he was, Flash used his speed to get behind the echidna.
Knuckles: "How?!" –he said as he turned his head to see him.
Sonic and Tails were stunned by what they had seen and Knuckles was hitting Flash who dodged it so easily.
Flash: "Come on buddy, you can't hit me even"
That comment prompted Knuckles to throw punches incessantly at Flash who was quietly dodging it.
Tails: "Wait Knuckles, I'll go help you!" –He said as their tails began to spin together.
Flash was still dodging Knuckles' punches and he noted that Tails was approaching where he and the scarlet runner grabbed Knuckles' left arm and threw it at Tails, causing them to crash and fall to the ground.
Sonic: "Hey, this time I do not forgive you" –he said as he ran to give him what he deserved.
Flash watched him and backed away as Sonic skidded to a halt and looked at him.
Flash: "Now I can see that you have the same ability as me, so this will get interesting" –he said to the blue hedgehog.
Sonic: "I don't know what you want the Chaos Emeralds for and your problem against me" –he said.
Flash: "Do not play innocent, Dr. Eggman told me that you are an evil being and that you stole these emeralds" –he replied.
Now it all made sense, the one responsible for the entire dispute was none other than Eggman and his ability to manipulate people. Sonic growled about it, but thought about being able to reason with him.
Sonic: "That is not true, the only evil is Eggman" –he said.
Flash: "Yes, of course. I've seen too many movies about weird looking talking aminals that are evil, that's why I have a gorilla as my enemy"
Sonic shook his head after that comment that let him pass by.
Sonic: "I am telling you the truth, Eggman is the only evil one, he is manipulating you"
However, Barry quickly went to him to kick the blue hedgehog's stomach and return to his previous spot. Sonic fell to the ground and touched his stomach as he lightly got up and looked at Flash.
Flash: "I do not believe any word of yours, I will go to Eggman and give him the emeralds so he can save this world from you" –he said as he ran at full speed.
Tails and Knuckles went to Sonic to help him and the latter narrowed his eyes as he looked at the place where the scarlet runner had gone.
Tails: "It seems that Eggman did his thing" –he said while looking at Sonic.
Knuckles: "That fat man with mustaches, always manipulating people" –he said while clenching his knuckles.
Sonic: "Well, you don't have to be surprised, he does the same with each person, including you" –he told the echidna.
Knuckles said nothing about it as he recalled the two times Eggman had cheated on him.
Tails: "Now what shall we do?"
Sonic: "Simple, I will recover the emeralds before it is too late" –he said.
Tails: "Ok, Knuckles and I will follow you in the Tornado"
Sonic nodded and ran at top speed while Tails and Knuckles immediately went to the Tornado to follow Sonic who was chasing the scarlet runner.
Flash was running fast in the big forest while realizing that Sonic was running at full speed and they were both even in terms of speed.
Flash: "It seems that you are not the kind of person who gives up" –he said.
Sonic: "No, and now you will see" –he said with a cunning smile.
In that, Sonic used the Spin-Dash and gave a jump and hitting Flash who fell back and fell to the ground, but without releasing the bag with the emeralds. Barry tried to get up, but Sonic approached where he and the blue hedgehog had a neutral gaze.
Sonic: "You do not know what you are doing" –he said.
Flash: "Of course I know what I'm doing, saving this world from you" –he said.
At that, Flash ran while holding Sonic tightly and knocking him hard against a tree, causing him to crash and fall to the ground.
Flash: "Well, it's time to go back to the ..."
However, Flash did not notice that Sonic ran to where he and the blue hedgehog jumped and kicked him in the face and then punched them everywhere, causing Barry to resist the blows of the blue hedgehog and above all, do not drop the bag with the emeralds.
Sonic: "Ok, I think it's time to end that. I tried to reason with you, but you left me no other option" –he said while panting a little.
Flash: "Well, if you want to do it this way, sign up" –he said.
A blow of wind caressed the bodies of both sprinters who looked at each other and both gave the first blow with their gusts of speed. The gusts of both sprinters collided with each other and yellowish rays came out when they collided. Sonic skidded backwards as he watched Flash go after him and deliver a punch, but the blue hedgehog ran behind him and hit his back with a Spin-Dash, knocking him down briefly until he got up.
Flash: "I must say that all the sprinters I have faced, you are the one who does not give up the most" –he said while looking at him.
Sonic: "I never give up" –he said.
In that, Flash turned away from Sonic who was looking for him everywhere and received a surprise attack that made him fly close to the ground, but Sonic put a hand on the ground and turned around to then stand up.
Sonic: "I didn't expect that" –he said to himself while looking at Flash.
While the sprinters were fighting, Tails along with Knuckles were in the Tornado and they were watching Sonic's fight against Flash.
Tails: "There is Sonic, it seems that it is being somewhat complicated to fight against that subject" –he told Knuckles while piloting.
Knuckles: "Right, Sonic must be complicating him a lot. That guy will run just like Sonic's speed" –he said while watching the fight.
The gusts of speed collided with each other again and Sonic jumped for a kick turn that Flash backed up and dodged, but what he could not dodge was a direct blow to the stomach that took him by surprise and Sonic walked away inches from him.
Sonic: "That was because of the kick in the stomach" –he said.
Flash: "It's over, I'll have to get rid of you and give these emeralds to Dr. Eggman" –he said as he prepared to run.
Sonic: "Not if I stop you" –he replied.
In that, Sonic and Flash ran between them and they both held hands while looking at each other with anger and neither of them stopped running, causing yellowish rays to surround them.
Sonic: "I will not allow you to give the emeralds to Eggman" –he said while growling.
Flash: "I do it for the good of this world" –he replied while growling.
Suddenly they both backed away, then ran in opposite directions, causing a tornado of wind, almost shaking the place.
Knuckles: "Incredible, Sonic and that guy are created that tornado of wind" –he said while holding tightly on the Tornado.
Tails: "It would be better to go back before that tornado of wind suck us" –he said.
The Tornado fell back a few inches as Sonic and Flash continued to run together in a circle and the wind tornado grew stronger and stronger.
Flash (Mind): "I have to escape from here"
In that, Flash left the wind tornado and Sonic noticed that and followed him while the wind tornado disappeared completely.
Tails: "It seems that both stopped and I know where they are going" –he said while giving movement to the Tornado.
Flash was running at full speed while Sonic was running alongside him and the scarlet runner decided to run even further, but that caused Sonic to use his high speed to match him.
Sonic: "Give me back the Chaos Emeralds immediately!" –he told him.
Flash didn't respond and kept running, causing Sonic to get upset and join him to knock him down, but Flash wouldn't let them and they both pushed each other as they ran.
Flash: "Jump off me, evil hedgehog" –he said.
Sonic: "And you continue with that? I already told you that I am not …"
However, both sprinters noticed that they were reaching Dr. Eggman's base and they looked up that a giant robot was falling causing them both to stop running and the giant robot was on the ground and Sonic growled about it.
Sonic: "It can't be, the same robot when I was in Lost Hex, only it has ..." –he said while trying to remember.
In that, Dr. Eggman left the Eggrobo with a jetpack and when he landed on the ground, he observed Flash.
Eggman: "Hey, did you get the emeralds?"
In that, Flash gave the bag to Eggman and he opened it and observed that the 7 emeralds were there and he handed them to Orbot and Cubot to put them in the middle of the Eggrobo.
Eggman: "I congratulate you, Flash, you have done a great favor to this world, now I will take care of Sonic" –he said while looking at the blue hedgehog.
Tails and Knuckles finally reached the base of Dr. Eggman and they observed the Eggrobo who was without anyone to control him and under the giant robot were Sonic, Flash and Eggman.
Sonic: "Eggman, stop pretending what you are doing, I know perfectly well that you want the Chaos Emeralds for your evil ends" –he faced the evil scientist.
Eggman: "Eh ... I don't know what you're talking about, the only evil one is you" –he said a little nervous.
Flash noticed the nerve between Eggman's words and that caused him to look at him somewhat confused.
Sonic: "I know what you plan, Eggman, you try to use that teleporter to send me to another world and thus have the Chaos Emeralds for your world domination"
Flash: "World domination?" –he ask Eggman.
Eggman: "No, no, no, no, don't believe that stupid hedgehog, I really want the Chaos Emeralds to send him into the unknown dimension" –he explain to Flash.
At that, Cubot approached where he was.
Cubot: "Sir, the emeralds are ready so that I can send Sonic and that sprinter in the red suit to the unknown dimension" –he said aloud.
Sonic and Flash heard that and Eggman pulled out a screwdriver and used it to hit Cubot on the head who walked away from him.
Eggman: "Well, I stop being the kind Eggman to be the evil scientist that I really am" –he said while smiling wickedly.
The inside of Flash felt an anger towards Eggman and tried to catch him, but Eggman activated his Jetpack and flew off until he got into the Eggrobo and activated it.
Flash: "It can't be, I was stupidly tricked" –he said while hitting his head.
Sonic: "He always does the same thing" –he said while crossing his arms.
In that, Sonic observed that the Eggrobo was targeting his stomach that had the portal and that gave the blue hedgehog a bad feeling.
Sonic: "This will be bad"
In that, a lightning bolt left the portal and Sonic with Flash moved away from the place and the lightning caused a portal to open. Sonic skidded backwards while Flash did the same.
Eggman: "Run all you guys want, I will send you two to the unknown dimension" –he said from the Eggrobo.
The Eggrobo began to throw lightning bolts at Sonic and Flash who ran as fast as they could and the Eggrobo kept firing the lightning bolts opening portals. Hence, Sonic and Flash ran together while an uncomfortable wind blew in their bodies as they ran.
Flash: "Hey ... I want to apologize for all this, I had no idea what was really happening, I just wanted to return to my world with my team, but it seems that I can not do it" –he said.
Sonic looked at him for brief seconds and he observed that he was not someone evil, just a person who was deceived by someone who is evil.
Sonic: "Ok, I'm going to forgive you on one condition"
Flash: "Which one?"
Sonic: "Help me defeat that giant junk"
Flash: "Deal done" -he replied with a smile.
Sonic: "Alright, uh ..."
Flash: "Flash, I'm Flash"
Sonic: "Alright, Flash, let's finish with that giant junk"
In that, Sonic and Flash observed the Eggrobo who kept shooting the lightning bolts and they ran around the giant robot everywhere.
Eggman: "Don't even think that with that they would defeat me"
The Eggrobo was trying to catch them, but Sonic and Flash were running as fast as possible which made Eggman growl about it and try to catch them no matter what.
Sonic: "Well, it's time for the blows" –he said while doing the Spin-Dash to accelerate.
Flash was hitting every part of the Eggrobo while Sonic with the Spin-Dash was jumping and hitting some parts of the giant robot while Tails and Knuckles were watching everything from the Tornado.
Eggman: "This can't be happening, not again" –he said inside the Eggrobo.
In that, Sonic and Flash ran at great speeds and causing the speed bursts to surround the entire Eggrobo, causing the giant robot to not control itself and trying to make it fall towards the base.
Eggman: "NO, NO, NO, NO, NO!"
From there, Sonic and Flash came out of the Eggrobo who fell directly towards the base, destroying it in half and making fly Eggman very far from there. Sonic and Flash observed that and they went to the base and climbed up towards the middle of the Eggrobo and observed the portal that had a dark tone.
Flash: "Eh ... certainly that portal did not have that tone when I was expelled" –he said to Sonic.
In that, Sonic observed the Tornado that landed on the ground and Tails who held Knuckles by his hands went where they and Sonic explained about the situation.
Tails: "So do you want to go back to your world?" –he ask Flash.
Flash: "Yes, I need to return to my world"
Tails: "Well, I could fix it, but it would take a few minutes or hours" –he said.
Flash: "Uhm, I can wait"
Tails: "Ok, you guys wait while I fix it" –he said to them.
In that, Sonic along with Flash and Knuckles got out of the Eggrobo so that Tails could review it and fix the portal. After the passage of time, Flash told him about his world while Sonic did the same with him and also apologized to Knuckles about what happened in the end the red echidna accepted his apology.
Tails: "I think it's ready!" –he said.
Flash ran there and he observed that the portal had the same tone where it was sucked and he managed to observe the same place where the Justice League was before the event.
Flash: "Yes, it is there. You are a very ingenious fox" –he said to Tails.
Tails: "Hehehehe, thanks"
Sonic and Knuckles got into the Eggrobo and Flash was about to enter the portal, but not before saying something to the Sonic Team.
Flash: "Hey, again I apologize for what happened, I was deceived by that scientist"
Sonic: "Don't worry, our friend Knuckles has been through those events" –he said while laughing a little.
Knuckles: "Haha, how funny" –he said while looking at him.
Tails: "Still, we forgive you and you realized, somewhat late, that Eggman is not someone to trust" –he said.
Flash: "Yes, you're right" –he said as he grabbed the back of his head.
At that, Flash raised his hand to Sonic who understood the message and he shook his hand with Flash's and they looked at each other.
Flash: "It was nice meeting you, Sonic the hedgehog"
Sonic: "I say the same, Flash" –he said.
After the handshake, Flash entered the portal and closed automatically while the Sonic Team stayed there for a few minutes until they took the Chaos Emeralds and left the base half destroyed. Tails and Knuckles got into the Tornado while Sonic decided to run while thinking about his adventure and having met someone with the same ability as him.
Sonic: "Certainly someone who is considered a worthy racing rival" –he said to himself as he ran and was chased by the Tornado.
-DC Universe-
The portal opened in the forests of Oakland and Flash immediately left the portal and noted that his team was missing.
Flash: "It seems that they are in the Hall of Justice" –he said to himself as he ran towards it.
After running and arriving at the Hall of Justice and entering the place, Barry observed that his equipment were on the computer and trying in some way to search for it.
Wonder Woman: "Were you able to look it up?" –She asked Batman.
Batman: "Not yet, but I'll try to find Barry in some way" –he said.
Flash: "Unless I get ahead" –he said, drawing everyone's attention.
Justice League: "Flash/Barry!" –Said each one of them.
Flash: "That's right, I have come from a world that you cannot imagine" –he told them.
Superman: "We are glad that you were able to get out of that portal" –he said while touching his shoulder.
Green Lantern: "And what land were you on?"
Flash: "Well, let's say I was in a world where I met someone very worthy of running"
They all stared at each other and then looked at Barry.
Batman: "You mean another sprinter?"
