Madison's POV

Madison Potter woke up from a dream, or rather, a nightmare. She glanced around, not surprised to see her twin, Harry Potter sleeping soundly. Why was she the one with all the strange dreams, Harry never seemed to have any. Despite being twins, Madison and Harry weren't alike in many ways. Well, apart from their eyes, and maybe hair. Both of them had bright emerald green eyes, which stood out from their dark black hair. Unlike Harry, Melinda didn't have a fringe. Although, that was probably because she didn't have to hide that "horrid scar" as Aunt Pertunia always said. Madison sighed. She wondered what the Dudleys had against their parents. At the mere mention of them, they would get extremely agitated, and Uncle Vernon's face would turn a deep shade of purple. Madison always found that amusing. She never thought that humans were capable of turning that shade, although Madison could easily believe he wasn't human. Both she and her brother hated the Dursleys, not to mention Dudley, who constantly found ways to pick on them. Go back to sleep Madi, she told herself. She tuck herself back into bed, hoping for a dreamless, peaceful sleep.

Unfortunately for Madison, she woke up in dream. Her first impression was that the place she was in was dark , very dark. Strange, she thought, this place feels familiar somehow. She looked around. It seemed like she was in a palace of some sort, well certainly a dark and gloomy one. She spotted a throne made of bones in the centre of the room, with a flowery one next too it. Well that sure stood out, Madison chuckled to herself. By then, she was sure she was going crazy, her dreams made no sense! Worst of all, she felt a sense of belonging at this strange place. She looked back at the thrones and got a fright. A tall, imposing man wearing black robes now sat on the throne of bones. His skin was deathly pale, had longish black hair, and his black eyes looked like he was staring into your soul. She swore he wasn't there a second ago. Much to Madison's disbelief, she felt drawn to this man. "Hello? Uhh who are you and where am I?" She cringed at herself and immediately regretting saying that. The man laughed without humour. " I am Hades, lord of the underworld. As to where are you, you're in my place of course." "Hades? Isn't that greek?" Madison said unsurely. The man called Hades snorted muttering, "demigods nowadays." Madison was confused. "You mean you are a god? Are you real?" "Insolent child. Of course I'm real, so are all the other greek gods and goddesses." To prove his point, a bright green flame sprouted in his hand. Madison stared with her mouth agape. "You mean all those myths are true? Is this all a dream?" Hades frowned, " Well yes , some myths are exaggerated but true. This is a dream, but very much real. I'm sure you have many more questions but those will be answered in due time. Well, I called you here to discuss your past and fate." Sighing, Hades said solemnly, " Madison, I am your father, you are a demigod" This was too much for Madison to digest. "I...I thought my parents died in car crash." "Car crash? My foot. Your Mother and stepfather died protecting you and your stepbrother. Rest assured, their souls are in Elysium, I made sure of that. We do not have much time left together but I sense that you are one of Hecate's magicals, your brother too." Hades had a longing look in his face when he said " Your mother was one too. There is school for your type, you probably will receive a letter tomorrow, by the way happy early birthday Madison." The twin's birthday would be in a few days time. "Just to tell you, there's a camp for your kind.By that I mean demigods not magicals. As you grow older, monsters will find you, camp will be a safe place for you to train. The ambivalence school will offer some protection, but not for long. Your brother is waking you up, you should go. But remember, it is probably best if you leave him out of this, he isn't a demigod."

Just as Hades said, Harry was shaking me awake. " Rise and shine sleepy head, and you complain you can't sleep with all those nightmares." Madison swatted him playfully, but her mind was on other things. She was sure her brain was going to explode. Magic? Gods? Monsters? Were those all real? She desperately wanted to tell Harry, but she remembered the warnings. If he was really a god and her father, she decided she better obey him. Below them, she could hear Aunt Petunia shouting for them to hurry up. "Come, we better get downstairs before the Durselys get mad."
