Percy's POV
I stared at the girl in front of me. She had caramel brown hair and was wearing black jeans with a purple t-shirt. She had eyes like the galaxy. She was known as Chaos. I was thinking about what she had just asked me. She wanted me to become her equal. She said,'I was wondering if you would mind becoming my equal, by that I mean you would become all powerful, and maybe, when the time is right, stronger than me'. The thought was in my mind but I didn't want all that power. I then thought of what the gods did.
Flashback
I was walking down the beach looking for Annabeth. I suddenly heard a voice. In fact, it was the sound of someone moaning. I followed the sound and what I saw made my heart shatter. It was Annabeth, but she was kissing Derek. Derek was my half-brother. I saw as he said,'When are you going to dump my dumb half brother'. I was outraged but the response I got from Annabeth hurt so much it was almost unbearable. She said,'I will dump him tomorrow'. I was heartbroken and I couldn't take anymore. I left the beach and went to the arena. There I took out my anger on the robots that had been recently given. At one point, a crowd had gathered. I didn't notice but I was hacking and slashing so quickly that even Chiron was worried. I noticed that I wasn't even tired. Chiron trotted up to me and said,'What happened there?'.
I told him,'Chiron, they were slow like slugs, I could tell every move they made and I could come up with and attack immediately to destroy them'. He looked at me with worry in his eyes. I was too bored so I left and went to the lake. I decided to practice my powers. I made a horse and it was moving. I then decided to try and freeze it. I was surprised when it actually worked. I closed my eyes thinking about creating a pegasus when suddenly I was covered in a light. I opened my eyes and found myself in front of the Olympian council and for some reason I was shackled. I asked Zeus,'Why am I shackled?'. He looked at me and said,'Perseus Jackson, we have deemed you to be a traitor and we have all decided to destroy you'. I was shocked. I didn't know what to say. I didn't even get that time as Zeus threw his bolt at me. I somehow grabbed it and I snapped it with rage. It exploded and then my vision went black.
Flashback end
I decided to accept. I said,'Sure Chaos'. She smiled and then said something in an old language. Suddenly, a light escaped from her hands and they hit me. I suddenly felt power surge through me. I was much taller and more muscular. My eyes were swearling with power. My hair became slightly darker. I saw as a mirror appeared in front of me. I looked at it and I had pure black eyes now with white rims. I could feel the flow of time here and I could almost stop it. I looked around and when I saw her, I could tell that Chaos was exhausted. She had her hands on her knees and she was sweating. I slowly walked up to her and said,'Are you OK?'. She nodded. She got up and hugged me. I was unsure what to do, but I hugged her back. When we separated I asked her,'What was that for?'.
She said,'Well, I was lonely and you have in a way become my friend'. I sighed. I understood. I decided to asked her something,'Seeing as you are called Chaos, can I have a cover name?'. She thought for a moment and said,'Sure, why no'. I thought for a few moments and decided, since she was called Chaos, then perhaps I should be called Order. I then said,'I have decided, I want to be called Order'. She nodded and said,'That's a good name'. She then said,'You will need training to get used to your powers and I will help'.
I asked her,'Since I won't be able to leave for a long time, can we visit my parents?'. She thought for a moment, then nodded. She held her hand out and I took it. I noticed her hands were soft and then there was a bright flash and we were in front of my mother's door. I felt unsure, but knocked on the door nevertheless. In a few seconds, I saw as the door opened and the face of Paul was revealed. The moment he saw my face, it lit up. He smiled before fully opening the door. He hugged me. I hugged him back. I heard the unmistakable voice of my mother say,'Who is at the door Paul?'.
He turned around and said,'Why don't you come and see for yourself'. I heard my mom's footsteps and when she saw me she ran forward and hugged me with strength I thought was impossible. My chest was being crushed under the force of her hug. I told her,'I can't breathe'. She let go and when she looked at my face, I could see that she was on the verge of tears. She said,'They said that they killed you'. I asked her if we could go inside and she nodded. When we got inside, she said she wanted to know all the details.
1 hour later
'Wow', that was all Paul said. I could tell that my mother was on the verge of tears. I could see that her eyes were about to water. I gave her a tissue. After she calmed herself down, she looked at Chaos and said,'Thank you, I can't think of a way to repay you for protecting my son'. My mom got up and gave her a hug. After they seperated,I asked my mom,'Can we both stay here for today?'. She didn't even take a second to consider and said,'Yes'. I looked at Chaos and she nodded. I led her to my room and when she saw it, she was so happy as it was bright. When I closed the door, she flashed on her pyjamas. I was almost crying from the color of the pyjama. It was pink, and I mean very pink. She looked at me serious. It looked really good on her. I tried to do the same, and it worked. I had black shorts and a green t-shirt on. I got a sleeping bag and I told her,'You sleep on the bed'. She nodded. We both went to sleep and closed the door.
A few hours later
I woke when I felt like someone was staring at me. I quickly got up. I turned around and saw Chaos staring at me. She said,'I can't sleep, can you sleep with me?'. I knew I was going to lose so I nodded. I quickly went on the bed. I closed my eyes and I felt Chaos body wrap itself around mine. I was shocked but sleep consumed me and I fell asleep.
