chapter 1

Lion-o Roarson came from a very wealthy family. He had no need that was unmet. He enjoyed living this lavished lifestyle. Lion-o even soon got his own car after getting his license. He was a talented driver and good one too. He always paid attention. Soon as he started going to college he moved out on his own. His parents were so proud. One night while driving he was being very careful as he was driving home after getting a burger. Then a car swerved around and crashed into Lion-o. His car rolled over multiple times til finally it came to stop. Lion-o had been badly injured.

Woman saw the accident and saw the other drive had drove off. She dialed 911. "911 what is your emergency?" the man said.

"I want to report a hit and run, the car is over turned and someone is inside," she said.

"Is he or she still alive?" the man asked.

"Yes he's breathing, but we need ambulance," she said.

"What is your location?" the man asked.

"On 2670 Vinra Drive." she said.

"Okay we are on our way stay with him," the man said.

The ambulance came and forced the car door open and pulled Lion-o out. Lion-o was groaning. "Quick bring the gurney." the paramedic said. They loaded Lion-o onto the gurney.

"Look at the light kid," a paramedic said.

"Ugh," Lion-o said.

"What is your name?" the same paramedic asked.

But Lion-o passed out before he could answer. "He is unconscious we better get him to the hospital and fast!" the paramedic said.

The ambulance drove fast as it could the sirens wailing. "Attention we are bringing in a John Doe, we are going to see if we can find some identification on him." the driver said.

The paramedic found Lion-o's wallet. He cleaned the blood off and saw his name. "I got a name, Lion-o Roarson," the paramedic said.

"Good," The driver said. "We have name for the patient we are bringing in his name is Lion-o Roarson," he said.

"Understood," the hospital said.

The paramedic placed the wallet back in Lion-o's pants.

Lion-o was rushed into the hospital. The doctor's check Lion-o's vitals. After sedating Lion-o the doctor finished treatment. Lion-o woke up a bit later. "Where am I?" Lion-o asked.

"In the hospital." the doctor said.

"Can you call my parents?" Lion-o asked.

"Sure," the doctor said.

Lion-o called his parents and the came as fast as they could. "My poor baby!" Leona said.

"Glad to see you are okay son," Claudus said.

Lion-o's girlfriend Valtina came. "I heard you had accident Lion-o." she said.

"I did but I am fine now," Lion-o said. Then he noticed something. "I can't move legs." he said.

"Okay Lion-o let's look at your legs." the doctor said. He X-ray Lion-o's leg and pelvis and couldn't find any broke bones. So he figured there was nerve damage. He discovered Lion-o's lower spine had been badly damaged after tests show his nerves there are damaged badly. Judging from the tests he knew Lion-o would never be able to walk again.

"Okay Lion-o you're paralyzed from the waist down. You will need a wheelchair for the rest of your life." the doctor said.

"What...?" Lion-o said he was shocked.

"My poor little boy," Leona said.

"Well Lion-o you are alive that is what is most important," Claudus said.

Valtina came over to Lion-o. "Lion-o this is not going to work out like ever, I don't want to date a lame handicap, so we better see other people, it was nice while lasted but I want a guy who can actually walk you know. You are totally unattractive now no woman will ever want you," Valtina said.

Lion-o looked very hurt by what she said.

"Out!" the nurse said.

"What?' Valtina said.

"You heard me you are upsetting the patient out! You are being very rude to him and cruel so get out before I force you out, but keep your mouth shut as you leave," the nurse said.

"No one talks to me like that you know who my father is?" Valtina said.

"I don't but I think he would be disappointed in you right now," the nurse said.

"Humph," Valtina said and left.

Lion-o was still upset tears were coming to his eyes he was so hurt. The nurse gave him a box of tissues. "It's alright son," Claudus said.

"She doesn't know what she is talking about," Leona said.

"That girl is got to be one of the most self centered and shallow people I have ever met!" the nurse said.

"I agree with you nurse Liosia," the doctor said.

Claudus' phone rang. "Oh it's Tygra, I better tell him what's going on," Claudus said. He left the room to talk. "Hello, son," he said.

"Hi dad, what's up?" Tygra said.

"I'm here at the hospital," Claudus said.

"Are you okay?" Tygra asked.

"I'm fine, and so is your mother, we are here because you brother was in a terrible car accident." Claudus said.

"Oh no, is he alright?" Tygra asked.

"He's going to be fine, but he is going to be in a wheelchair for the rest of his life." Claudus said.

"How is he taking it?" Tygra asked.

"Not so good and things got worse because Valtina was with us and dumped him and said the she didn't want to be with a handicap, your brother is really upset," Claudus told Tygra.

"Which hospital is he at? Tygra asked.

"Thundera Star," Claudus said.

"I'm coming over to see him." Tygra said.

"Great maybe Lion-o will cheer up a little," Claudus said. Claudus came into the room. "Lion-o your brother is coming, I told him what happened and he wants to see you," he said.

"Okay," Lion-o said.

Tygra came in and saw Lion-o. "Hey Lion-o how are you doing?" Tygra asked.

"Worthless," Lion-o said.

"Lion-o don't let what Valtina said get to you, she isn't good enough for you anyway," Tygra said.

But Lion-o wasn't listening he was just so upset.

To be continued.
