So, this takes place a month after date night – the youngest kids are 7 months old, (the middle about 2-3 cos I can't work out my own timeline) the eldest about 5 and half. I've given in trying to work out age appropriate child speech (my 2 and 4 year old niece and nephew are the only kids I've really had much interaction with) so if it seems too 'grown up' they do take after Dazai… (too young well I'm putting it down to the fear of the situation)

Basing off the warnings – nothing at all bad happens to Dazai and Chuuya's children nor is it implied (anything is in the past and aimed more at Dazai.) in case that would put any reader off (I couldn't bring myself to harm the uhh fictional kids)

There is implied/referenced self harm is for the start of chapter 3, it's more emotions than actions, so if it's something you are uncomfortable with please skip

Chapter 1 & 2 are the same time frame, one is from Dazai's POV and two is from Chuuya's POV, chapter 3 they merge together (or that's the current plan)

Dazai slowly woke, his head and neck ached, maybe Chuuya was right, they did need a new mattress. His hand brushed on something hard and stone like as he shifted. He couldn't open his eyes, his head was swimming, everything felt blurry and fluffy, he hadn't felt this sensation in years.

"Mama?" he didn't know which of his children was calling for him but they sounded scared.

Fuck. The memories fell back into place.

They had been coming home from nursery, Chuuya working a rare morning. A cop that wasn't a cop came up to him, they had known his name. As he had gathered his children close, more fake cops came up, they had sprayed something that knocked out the children, and had taken Dazai's moment of panic to use a stronger spray and injected him with something. No wonder he felt rough, Mori had spent three months building his resistance to anything and everything that could incapacitate him, it needed a yearly boost and it was the one bit of Mafia training he had neglected since leaving.

He managed to get his eyes open, he was in a dimly lit concrete cell – 3 solid walls and bars to the front. The babies were still in their buggy and in the small cell with him. There was a wooden bench along the back wall, a toilet and sink on the side with another wooden bench next to it. He slowly crawled towards the bars, he didn't know why he'd been captured and he reasoned that playing a ditzy, slow, omega could only work in his favour.

The rest of the room was surprisingly bright, a set of doors were to Dazai's right, and he could make out the silhouette of armed guards, he couldn't see any camera's but knew the place had to be rigged, probably recording audio too. In the centre of the room was a hospital style bed, a sink and mirror on the wall behind it. A small letterbox style window above it, too small for Dazai but if he could work out high up they were, and if the kids could control Chuuya's ability enough it was an option.

He turned his attention to the back wall. His children were held in two separate cells, they were quite spacious and very well lit, they had a sink and toilet and wooden benches against the back wall. Unlike Dazai's cell, there was no brick wall separating them, instead more bars, wide enough apart for a child's hand to fit. A mattress was against each side of the dividing wall. Dazai could see straight into all parts of each cell from his, the twins were furthest away. It was an odd setup for a room, as Dazai knew there was nothing between his and the quadruplets cell. He shook his head, why did he know that?

"Are you okay?" he whispered

A chorus of mumbled yes's and uh-uh answered him.

"Good,"

"I'm thirsty," Dante whined,

"Hang on, let me check the water," Dazai slowly stood, peaking into the buggy to check the twins were okay – they were sleeping soundly. He sniffed and tried the water, "it's fine."

The kids moved closer to the front of their cells,

"What happened Mama?" Eulalia asked

"I'm not sure, remember our games though?"

After their run in with the policeman on their date night Dazai and Chuuya (with some help) had started training their children for this sort of possibility, masking it as a 'game', partly to not worry their children, and partly to confuse anyone who may be listening in. They had needed easy codes to calm and instruct their children.

"Yep!"

"If the baddies glow use Mama and if they're mean use Dada, okay? Mama's a bit tired too,"

(If they glow with an ability use Dazai's ability, if they attack use Chuuya's. Dazai's going to act dumb and slow)

"I need a weeee" Fabian whined.

"There's a toilet behind you,"

"But I can't go with you looking"

"We'll turn around,"

Eulalia went to the bars they shared with their siblings and encouraged them to turn around. Dazai turned slightly, enough to keep Fabian happy, but he could still see them all.

"Stop listening I can't go,"

"Twinkle-twinkle…" Dazai began, Eulalia and the quadruplets joining in, they hit the second verse when Dazai heard the toilet flush,

"My turn," Eulalia announced, "keep singing!"

Dazai quietly groaned, there was no way the guards didn't know they were all awake, he'd hoped to get a bit longer alone. He still didn't know why they were there, and what was going to happen to him or his children.

"Done!"

"Good, why don't you sit on the beds and get comfy?" Dazai suggested, the door opened before the children moved.

Two people entered – a small, dainty lady with dark hair in a lab coat, and a man, taller than Dazai with a scar down his face. Dazai cowered on the floor as they came closer, blink sleepily at them,

"Am I in trouble?" he tried to sound confused, "Will my babies be okay?" he sniffled.

"Don't you remember us Dazai? We had so much fun together when you were little," the man's voice was low,

"You were such a good little helper," the woman added.

There was something about them that was tugging on the edges of Dazai's memory but it was till too fuzzy from whatever they had drugged him with. He shook his head,

"Well, this has ruined part of our plan, who'd have thought turning out to be an omega would addle your brain this much." The man shook his head, apparently disappointed with Dazai's reaction.

"It'll still work, just look at the family he and the Chuuya Nakahara have created, and they're only twenty-four. He's got at least another fifteen breeding years in him, maybe even twenty."

Dazai tried not to react to that, silently grateful that the Hospital had lived up to its promise, they had an ability user who adjusted everyone's medical records to hide information that the reader didn't need to know (unless they were a doctor or nurse of the hospital)

The man and woman crouched down to Dazai's level – he had shifted to be by the side of the buggy, hand on it as if they'd take his babies.

"Let's start again shall we," the man's voice was soft, as if speaking to a startled animal, you may call me Dihiryn, I am the leader of this little group, and this is Meddyg she's our resident doctor."

"Doctor?" he flinched, "You won't hurt my babies, will you?" he wasn't acting anymore, he couldn't remember much of his childhood - more an overwhelming feeling of hurt and pain. If the two people knew him then, he didn't want to know what they would do to his children.

"No, your children are gifts, we want to give them a check over after you've had some food and rest, but nothing more than your doctor would do with them, okay?" Meddyg smiled,

Dazai nodded, "Then why are we here?"

"We want you to bear us a child." Dihiryn started, "You and Chuuya are our best experiments and who better to test out the next phase of our experiment than you two?"

"We've found a way to genetically engineer omegas and alphas, and accelerate the aging process. No hoping the parent tests them within 24 hours of birth or waiting until they present as teenagers. A few weeks of injections before your heat and the children you conceive will all be omega's or alpha's depending on what we've injected you with. For the first three years the children will age five years for each year, when they present the aging will begin to slow. Your pregnancy will progress as normal, the accelerated aging doesn't start until after the first month." Meddyg explained. "We'll start the injections today, the longer you're on them the better, and I'm sure your husband will find you soon."

"And you won't touch my children if Chuuya and I do this? Can we share a room?"

"We thought you and Chuuya would be more relaxed with your children here, we apologise for how we had to go about it. However until we get a positive pregnancy test from you, you will be isolated from your older children, it's just a safety precaution."

Dazai nodded, not trusting himself to speak.

"Mamaaaaa, I'm hungryyyy" Dante and the other quadruplets started whining, Eulalia and Fabian trying to shush them.

"I'm so sorry my little ones," Meddyg smiled, "we got side-tracked talking to your Mama, I'll have someone bring in some sandwiches for you shortly," she pulled a phone from her pocket, sending a quick message.

The food arrived a few minutes later, ham sandwiches (with the crusts cut off) for the children and Dazai, formula and sterilised bottles for the babies.

"Before you can eat, we'd like to check you over and make a start on the injections. The babies can stay in your room, but we'll need you to come out. I will not handcuff you unless you give me a reason to, okay?" Dihiryn instructed.

Dazai nodded meekly and slowly got up, as Dihiryn unlocked the cell. Meddyg was waiting for him next to the bed, Dazai wanted to go to his children, to touch them and reassure them but he didn't think it would be allowed.

"You can go to your children after you've been checked." Dihiryn told him.

Dazai nodded and made his way over to Meddyg, he stood in front of her, feeling a strange sense of déjà vu.

"Take your clothes off," she instructed

Dazai quickly slipped off the loose t-shirt and jeans he was wearing, thankful he had worn boxers today. He stayed still as Meddyg poked and prodded him, he wanted to cringe and run away from her cold hands. But he had to be a good role model for his children, he was afraid of what would happen if they were unhelpful.

"You're healthier than I expected, you were always such a scrawny little boy. I didn't think you'd turn out to be the omega though"

Dazai stayed silent, blurry memories were trying to force themselves to the forefront.

Dihiryn laughed from somewhere behind Dazai, as he talked Meddyg continued her examination.

"Yes, Meddyg was very adamant you would be the alpha, we knew you'd had children but we've never seen you or Chuuya pregnant, so it pushed back our plan a bit. Luckily one of our sources found this," he had moved over to Dazai and showed him a picture, it was old. A grainy CCTV snapshot of Dazai and Chuuya leaving their local fast food place, it was a few days before Eulalia and Fabian had been born, "imagine our surprise that you were the omega, and little Chuuya the Alpha. The men involved in our omega relocation project found it easy to locate you after we realised our mistake."

"It was an easy mistake to make," Meddyg grumbled, "and the wait was worth it. Look at him, he's a perfect omega, in his prime breeding years, just the right weight. Your alpha's been taking good care of you, hasn't he?"

Dazai nodded,

"Get dressed, and sit on the edge of the bed so I can give you the injection. You will have one every six hours,"

Dazai complied, he sat on the bed facing his kids, they were more interested in their sandwiches than what was happening to Dazai, they blurred as a memory he'd forgotten took over.

From his cell, Dazai watched as the boy coughed, spluttered and landed on the floor, he knew it would happen, the formula they had injected that boy with had been wrong, they had always been getting it wrong. "Take him away," Meddyg instructed one of her assistants, "Come here Dazai," she unlocked the cell. "Time to see if your adjustments have actually worked." He had lost track of how long he'd been here, he had learnt early to make himself helpful, to hide the anger, fear and resentment he felt and mould himself into whatever they wanted. He only got to see the outside when they were testing some of their other drugs, he still didn't know how he'd survived the 40 foot drop out of the window. "Stand in front of me," Meddyg instructed. The children in the other two cells were new to him, they had been rounded up that morning, Dazai hoped they wouldn't have to suffer like him and the other 300 kids that had passed through this room. Dazai felt the ability user move behind and the power that had been slumbering inside him, snapped and filled him. A blue light exploded. The ability user slumped to the floor, Meddyg squealed in delight.

Dazai woke up on the floor of his cell, the lights had been dimmed, they had obviously decided it was bedtime. He crawled to the bars, and relaxed when all his children were accounted for.

"Good, you're awake," Meddyg whispered, Dazai hadn't even seen her enter the room. Mori would be ashamed of his protégé, how easily his skills had been lost. "I didn't expect you to react so poorly to the first injection, it should get better now your body is used to it, stand up and put your arm through the bar please,"

Dazai did as he was asked,

"You have such beautiful veins, it makes my job easier," she quietly laughed, Dazai looked away as she injected him, he wasn't scared of needles but he was afraid if he looked it would make him afraid.

"I can't wait for Chuuya to get here, the children you already have are gifts. I can't wait to see what you two create with our help. It is such a shame that you don't seem to remember your time here, we had some many great afternoons in my lab, I've never had such a brilliant student since. Well, I'll be back in six hours, with breakfast for all of you. There's bottles and formula on the bench if the babies get hungry, you passed out before I could ask you their feeding schedule."

She left, slowly shutting the door so she wouldn't wake the children. Dazai checked the babies, it looked someone had changed their nappies when Dazai was out, he wanted to be angry that someone had touched his little babies, but the injections had made everything fuzzy. He felt like his heat was imminent, but without the temperature change and insatiable need for his Alpha. It was unnerving.

He was tired but he couldn't sleep, he needed to keep an eye on his children. He pulled the babies out of the buggy, changing their nappies and putting them in the spare outfits they always carried in the buggy, they were messy little children. They started fussing for their bottle, Dazai grabbed the bottles that they had supplied. He settled on the floor where he had a perfect view of the other two cells, he felt slightly calmer with his babies in his arms.

He hated how useless he felt, he was obviously known to these people but he didn't know why, memories he didn't know he'd forgotten were coming back and unsettling him. He always knew his ability always being active was strange, but he'd never had any reason to question if he'd always had it. He was afraid, what would happen when they found out he was incapable of having anymore children? He shook his head, those sort of thoughts wouldn't help him now, he had to hold it together for his children.

He was certain Chuuya would be here soon…. (preferably with backup)
