Begin Song: watch?v=UM4mYd… Roar of Sadness - Godzilla vs Destroyah OST
Fire and smoke rose up from the once grand metropolis of Tokyo, bellowing into the air like hell had come upon the earth. In the streets below, a panicked people ran in fear for their lives, clamoring and climbing over cars and others as thundering footfalls echoed through the city, followed by a nightmarish howl thought only confined to the depths of the inferno.
A boy being dragged away by his mother wondered why all this was happening. There was no reason for this to happen, but it is. His home was in flames and chaos ruled the streets as people ran. He tripped and fell to the ground. His mother was dragged away by the crowd, unable to help her son. A loud smash came from above. In the reflections of his eyes, rubble from a destroyed rooftop rained down. He would be on of the lucky ones... if you call broken bones and punctured kidney's lucky.
A gargantuan tail swung and crashed into another building. The building gave way, toppling down in a nightmarish manner, crushing all inside and creating a cloud of dust and ash that spread fast. Titanic claws ripped through glass and metal in a nearby skyscraper, tearing out monitors and tossing them onto the streets below.
The smoke and dust could be seen for miles, all the way to the once bustling streets of Kyoto, whose people were glued to the screens. Breaking news of this horrific event was played worldwide, sending the planet into a state of shock. Battleships and combat aircraft from China, South Korea, Russia, and America were already rushing to render assistance, but they would be too late to save the country.
A trail of destruction cut through the heart of Japan- the massacre started in Hokkaido and made its way down the country... where it led into a circle of death that stretched from the west coast to the east coast, and all the way from the edge of Saitama Prefecture, all the way to Hokkaido island. Nothing lived here anymore: everything was a lifeless decay- the snow on mountains were evaporated and water in lakes and ponds, gone. Animals, humans, trees, buildings, and even grass- turned to dust. All except for one patch of land in the exact center.
The panicked people fled either by car, by plane, or by boat. Those fleeing by boat were clamoring at the docks, fighting to get away from this hell as soon as possible. Above, fighters from the JSDF flew to the city, firing missiles to stop the devil that was unleashing this madness. Cannon fire from offshore battleships pierced through buildings, striking their target, but would it be enough?
Once the boats were full, or close to maximum capacity, they shoved off from the docks and made their way to open waters, praying to get as far away from the devastation as soon as possible.
"No!" One of the unlucky ones to not get on this particular boat shouted. "Don't leave us!" Another pleaded. A private jet flew over head, speeding away at all haste.
Neither would get far. A neon-blue beam came from the smoke and struck the plane, destroying it as it exploded into pieces. The pieces rained down on the boat below. The bigger pieces punctured the ship, crushing people inside and dipping it enough to force it to sink.
Shocked into fear, the people on the docks slowly turned their attention to the city. Their faces twisted in terror when they saw the living embodiment of death staring down at them, with pure hatred in his eyes and a sinister snarl from his lips. This 400 foot, charcoal-grey Titan of a lizard stood above the rest as a agent of death...
A GOD of Destruction.
A charging-up sound could be heard coming from the beast, progressively getting louder and louder. Blue light ran up its tail and up its back, illuminated large spines that extended out like a stegosaurus. The beasts eyes glowed sinisterly as the light began to buildup in its mouth.
The people screamed and yelled in terror as the monster unleashed a beam of blue light from its mouth upon them all.
Sometimes i wonder... how we got here...
I wonder what we did to deserve this living embodiment of destruction. And why of all places in the world, it would come here... he came here. Why? To destroy us? To persecute the masses?
To that end... i looked into the history of this beast... this Gojira, as the news called him. In other parts of the world, he was named Godzilla. It doesn't really matter what he's called; he still caused massive destruction on a mythical scale. The powers he exudes... no living animal should be capable of that.
When the dust settled, i began to research the history of this beast, asking contacts in the military and scientific departments for any leads. Exhausting all my favors, my search led me to the home of Dr. Ishiro Serizawa, an animal enthusiast and researcher, and brother of Dr. Daisuke Serizawa, a quote unquote "mad scientist" who was working on a weapon for the JSDF in fears of history repeating itself.
I learned that, 19 years ago, in 1936, he led an expedition to the Bikini Atoll- more specifically, to a uncharted island called Lagos, in order to observe and label all the undocumented wildlife on the island. It was there that the titanic god called Godzilla would be found.
However, I was not expecting it to go like this... if things went differently, maybe all this could've been avoided...
