Coffee Ice-cream

Based off the episode Threshold, as a following sequel.

Time frame is at the start of season two, swapping the episode 'The 37's' with 'Threshold'.

I do not own the characters of Star Trek Voyager, I only made this to show what should've happened at the time and to have some fun.

I was the oldest out of my siblings, but you wouldn't be able to tell, as they were larger than myself.

The day was coming to a close, as the strange men came towards my family, I was up a tree and watching the whole thing. I don't think my siblings saw anything or they just didn't care. That was the last time I saw my siblings.

As I saw the man with a tattoo on top of his left eye, stun my mother, I knew I had to act.

I saw from my tree, that one of the men had a bag, I knew I had to get inside the bag if I was to know why they were here.

I came on board the Star Ship - Voyager my new home. (But I did not know the name was Voyager until after I met the crew).

After a few days of hiding in the Jefferies tubes I decided I was to find my mother. I did. It wasn't to hard, but she certainly was not in the same form as I was. So, I said myself that I was to stay out of sight until I was the same as she was.

I went to sickbay by Jefferies tube, but I saw the Doctor was with someone, so I waited. Then I worked out how and why they weren't the same as me. But before I did that the Doctor seemed to have vanished into thin air.

I worked how to get the Doctor to the procedure without altering anyone.

As I awaked from the procedure I could tell there was change – I could walk upright. I then erased the Doctors memory file from today so he would not tell anybody, well not yet.

As I found out that my mum was the captain WOW!

Today was the day, I was going to finally tell her, she would surely let me stay, maybe even let me live her? I wasn't too sure, but I just wanted to stay where I was not on the planet.

I arrived at the captain's ready room, by Jefferies tube of course but I made sure that I was at the door.

As I ringed the bell (or what it was) I felt a little bit of regret and a little bit of relief at the same time.

'Come in' said the Captain.

As I opened the door, I saw a person I would know I would love, even if she didn't love me.

'Janeway to security intruder alert my ready room' I knew that was bad.

'Please, I can explain myself' I said trying to stop her from being frightened.

'Go ahead then, start from the beginning.'

'This may seem weird but please let me explain and I'll answer any questions at the end.'

As I said that my mum, put her hand on my back and said,

'Please sit down and explain' the voice sounded so calm and willing.

'I am your daughter'.

Instantly her jaw dropped.

'I am 2 years old but, on the timeline, I am 3 weeks old and the maturity of at least 5. I came aboard the same time you came on when you were the evolved reptile, so was I. I was in that form for only 2 days before I was able to get the Doctor to change me. He does not; I wiped his memory. I have been making up mind for the past 2 weeks to work out what you say if I just came barging in here saying that I was your daughter. Before you any ideas, the father is unknown. Any test will just show no one. The Doc said it was a side effect of the procedure. That's it.' 'Wow, I had no idea'

'I would hope so I kept hidden'

'So do want people to know'

'Of course, I do. I don't want my life to be a secret. But do you want people to know?' I hope so I thought.

'Yes, I don't want my own daughter to have to live in secret'.

At that moment Chakotay walked in, the same man who stunned mum at the planet.

'Is she the intruder, because she looks like your daughter Captain.'

'That's because I am' I answered, I was shaking thinking he was going to attack me or something for speaking out of line.

'I haven't asked you what your name is? Do you have a name?' mum asked me.

'Of course I do, my name is Lana Elizabeth.'

'Who's the farther?' Chakotay asked.

'No one. It was a side effect of the procedure'.

'How did this happen?'

'When Tom and I broke the warp 10 barrier.'

'That was weeks ago, you look older than that.'

'That's because I have the body of a 2 year old, even the maturity of a 5 year old, but I was always mature.'

'How are we going to tell the crew?' mum asked.

'Tell the senior staff first, how about the people on the bridge crew they are just here?' Suggested Chakotay.

'Is that ok with you Lana' mum asked.

I nodded with eagerness.

The bridge crew was in amazement when I walked in. I think they already thought I was her daughter just because of the simulates.

'This is Lana everyone, the newest member of crew' mum introduced me to everyone.

The piolet, Tom asked 'Are you the Captain's daughter?'

'Yes' I answered as politely as I could, I didn't want him to think as me a know it all like I thought Chakotay might think, but I hope not.

I explained to all of them how I became to be, most in shock but I think I got the feeling of a little bit accomplishment come my voice, after all I did survive almost 3 weeks on a Federation Star Ship without being detected.

That night mum showed me her quarters and she replicated me a bed.

We eat, though she isn't a very good cook, she even admitted it.

After the main meal we had ice-cream YUM. I had vanilla while mum had coffee ice-cream, she says she is addicted to the liquid coffee. She's not wrong.

At bedtime mum tucked me in and asked if I would like to hear story. Of course, I said yes.

Mum read me her favorite story book as a child, Harry Potter.

'Mr and Mrs Dursley, of number 4, Private Drive, were proud to say the perfectly normal, thank-you very much…'
