Another story on the Waltons, this time i decided to not follow a storyline and make it just as a simple one shot, setting around season 1 and focus at the Baldwin sisters.
Other than that, i must say its more a Pass Time story, rather than a good plot story, just to be fun.

THE UNEXPECTED INTRUDER
It was a nice fall evening and at the Baldwin residence, the sisters Emily and Mamie enjoyed a time for themselves. As usual, after dinner and half jar of the recipe, the sisters sit at the living room, to read, embroider and talk about their past, while they listen to one of their fathers´s records. When everything started.
''You know Sister…'' Emily started ''I really enjoy listened to Tchaikovsky; his waltzes are so delightful'' the old lady breath in delight.
''True Emily'' Mamie agreed looking up from her crochet ''Look, I'm doing this to Erin, to give her on her birthday, you think she will like?''
''I suppose.'' The other sister said dreamy. ''This waltz, it's the same Waltz Ashley promised to dance with me…''
''Emily Rowena Baldwin!'' her sister scolds her.
''Well, I'm rather tired'' she said changing the subject ''I´m going to lie down''
''Me too'' Mamie agreed getting up to turn off the record player.
As the silence fall through the house, the sisters began to hear small noises coming from somewhere in the house. Frightened, the two old maids stop on their track, holding into each other's hand.
''Sister, you heard that?'' Emily said nervous.
''I did sister…'' Mamie replied as the sound of a broken glass reach their ears. ''There´s someone in the recipe room!''
''Oh God, Mamie, we are two maids alone in this house, what can we do?''
''Lets go look for help Sister, before the intruder attack us'' the older sister exclaimed and without second thoughts, they got into their car and drove as fast as possible out of the house.

Next day by the morning, John-Boy gone to buy some groceries to his mother at Ike´s store, when he spots the sheriff and Ike talking to Mr. Holly and by the way they talked, something wasn't right. Curious then, the older Walton sibling decided to approach and ask what was going on.
''Morning Ike, sheriff, Mr. Holly''
''John-Boy, up and about in early morning?'' Mr. Holly greet him.
''I had to come and buy some groceries.'' He said ''Everything all right?''
''That's what we are trying to figure out John-Boy'' Ike replies.
''Last night Miss Emily and Miss Mamie went to my farm, saying there was an intruder in their house, and they sound pretty frightened'' Mr. Holly explained, and John-Boy frowned.
''I will get back home and tell Daddy and Grandpa, maybe they could help find what happened'' the boy suggested.
''Thank you, John-Boy,'' the sheriff said as the boy rush away.

Once back home, John-Boy told his family what he had heard and while his mother and grandmother seemed to be glad that somebody had stolen all the recipe, Grandpa Zeb and John agree to go look at the Baldwin residence, In search for the intruder.
This way, a few men in town, joined John and Mr. Holly and the maid sisters, to go to their house and investigate. Once there, they searched around the living room and kitchen, the Judge's office and other rooms where the intruder could have stolen something, however, when John-Boy and Grandpa Zeb gone to the Recipe room, they soon called the others, as they had just found the intruder.
''In the recipe Room?'' Miss Mamie seemed shocked ''How he get there?''
''Hope he didn't steal all the Recipe'' Miss Emily exclaimed as they rush there.
The intruder, they came to find, wasn't even human. As what they thought, the small raccoon, seeing the window open, decided to came in and explore the place, looking for what to eat, still, when it saw the jars of whiskey, it drank two bottles in a row and end up drunk.
The Baldwin sisters of course, found the whole situation hilarious and as well as John-Boy, they laugh while John and the other men, tried to conclude what happened. In the end, the animal was released at the woods once again and Grandpa Zeb promised to come back other day to fix the window, so any other animal could come in.

Later that evening, the Baldwins and the Holly family joined at the Walton's household to tell Olivia and the children about the racoon and of course, the scare it had given them, but in the end, everything proved to be quite fun.
''Well, lets agree that the racoon, had a good taste'' said Grandpa once they were all to bed.
''You old fool'' Grandma scold him ''Let's hope the racoon didn't invite all the other animals to drink that thing!''
''It would be something interesting to see. Good night Esther''
''Good night Zeb.''
