Right now the skoolchildren were passing out their valentine's meats. Again Dib didn't bring anything and Gretchen gave a bunch of heart shaped meats but this time, she put it in a box and put a bow on it. Kinda gross if you ask me. But anyways...

Gretchen out the box on Dib's desk. Dib looked at it and went to open it. Gretchen blushed and turned her head. Dib saw what Gretchen gave him and said, "Thanks Gretchen." Gretchen blushed and thought for a moment.

I have to be confident and confess! She thought.

"U-um Dib?" She stuttered.

"Yeah?" Dib looked up at her.

"I have a confession. I...I..." Gretchen was still nervous about confessing. What would she say?

"...I believe in aliens!" She said loudly. Dib looked confused. Nobody would ever believe in aliens. But Dib thought about it. Gretchen never made fun of him and never bullied him. She always wanted to say something but was too shy.

"It's okay if you don't believe me." Gretchen frowned and stared at the ground.

"No Gretchen...I do believe you. Nobody ever believes me! And...you do! Thank you so much!" Dib grinned and hugged her. This was the happiest thing that ever happened to Gretchen.

"Gretchen...will you be my Valentine?" Dib asked. Gretchen's eyes sparkled. It was finally happening!

"Yes! I-I will!" Gretchen smiled and they hugged again. After that Gretchen and Dib would talk at recess, eat at lunch, and Gretchen was even interested in Dib's paranormal studies.

Later after school at night Dib showed Gretchen a hill where they watched the stars together. All the stars in the sky were bright and really pretty. Even if Valentines day was just one day, Gretchen finally got to be with her crush, and who knows? Maybe they would even become boyfriend and girlfriend in the future.

That's it! Sorry it's really corny. Like I said in the description, I'm not good at writing love stories, but thanks for reading!
