[Steven, Connie, and Mrs. Maheswaran are surrounded by the gem mutants, Steven's gem glows as he summons his bubble shield]
"Really mom! I know how to do this." Connie said.
"No you don't." Mrs. Maheswaran said.
"Yes she does. She's been training. She hasn't been playing around with that sword. She's been taking classes to learn how to use it right. Even though she's been studying, practicing tennis, or doing her homework, she still works hard to be a good sword fighter." Steven said.
"No. No, no, no, no, no, no. I know my daughter. I know what she's doing every second of the day. All of her activities, all of her Internets. I know she's differently not some sword fighting hooligan." Mrs. Maheswaran said.
"You don't know me at all! You still haven't notice my glasses!" Connie yelled.
"What's wrong with your glasses? Mrs. Maheswaran said.
(Takes off glasses) "They don't have lenses anymore. I haven't needed actual glasses for almost a year." Connie said.
"What your eyesight just got magically better?" Mrs. Maheswaran said.
"Yes! I've been dealing with magic and monster since I met Steven. That's why I need you to believe what I can do here." Connie said.
"But you..." Mrs. Maheswaran said.
"Ugh there's no time for this." Connie said as she grabs the sword.
"Ready?" Steven said.
"Drop the bubble." Connie said.
(Steven drops the bubble shield pushing the mutants back. Steven then grabs Connie's hand, his gem glows and they fuse into Stevonnie)
"He ya." Stevonnie (Connie) said.
(Stevonnie poofs the mutants and bubbles them)
"We did it." Stevonnie (Steven) said.
(Connie's mom is shocked onto what's happen)
"So that's why there was no pulse. This is what you've been doing?" Mrs Maheswaran said.
"Yeah. I was afraid if I told you, you wouldn't let me see Steven again." Connie said.
"What was that when you defeated them?" Mrs. Maheswaran said.
"Fusion. You see Connie and I can fuse." Steven said.
"But she's not a gem." Mrs. Maheswaran said.
"I know. I can fuse with humans since I'm half human." Steven said.
"Okay Connie we'll pull back on the rules." Mrs. Maheswaran said.
"Really?" Connie said.
