Chapter 1
I was finishing editing a youtube video for my youtube channel. Currently, I almost have 10 million subscribers, and the numbers are rising quickly. I make music and do covers of other songs (mainly anime), and sometimes even vlog.
After finally finishing editing and uploading the video, I go to my kitchen and grab snacks and a soda and go over to the living room. Setting the stuff down, I then turn on the TV and put on AOT season 3. AOT is a favorite anime of mine. I'm also up to date on the manga currently. As I watch, eating snacks and drinking soda, I think about what should be my next video. 'Maybe I'll do an AOT Cosplay,' I think to myself. 'How cool would it be to actually meet the actual characters though? That would be out of this world!'
I finally finish the season and look at the time. It was exactly 11:00. 'I should probably go to sleep.' As I went to clean up the snacks, there suddenly was a giant flash of bright light, making me squint. 'What the fuck?' After the light disappeared, there was a massive heap of people on the floor. As they got up they looked around.
"Where are we?" One of them asked.
"I don't know, but we should keep a lookout," said another.
I was opening and closing my mouth, trying to make sense of this situation. "Why are you people in my house?" I demanded.
They all turn to me. "I don't know, but maybe you should tell us, or we'll cut your throat," one threatened, his sword pointing towards me.
"Dude! One moment, I'm cleaning up my house, then a bright light appeared, and now there's a bunch of random people in my house!" 'Although… they do look familiar…' I then looked at them more clearly and gasped. "Are you guys the survey corps?"
The one with the sword rolled his eyes, now identified as Levi, then said, "Of course we are, now where the fuck are we?" He demanded.
I sighed. "You guys might wanna sit down for this. It's gonna be a lot."
So they all sat down, all of them looking at me, demanding answers.
I took a deep breath. "You guys are in Miami, Florida in the year 2020."
They stared at me with wide eyes and gaping mouths. "The year 2020?! You must be joking!" Shouted one of them, Eren I believe.
"Believe it or not it's true," I retorted. "Lemme show you something." I grab the remote and turn on the TV. "This is a TV. Something that we invented."
They all looked mesmerized by the strange object. "Woah!" "Someone MADE this?" "How is this possible?" I simply watched them take it all in. "Now do you all believe me?" I demanded. They all nodded, some still hesitant and disbelieving.
"Great! Let's do introductions!" I say to them. The tall, blonde male then stands up. "Greetings. I am Commander Erwin Smith. These are my comrades: Levi, Hange, Mike, Moblit, Eren, Mikasa, Armin, Jean, Connie, Sasha, Ymir, and Krista." He said this, pointing to each person.
I smile at them. 'I already know all of you of course.' "I'm Yuki Yamamoto," I say to them.
Hange looked interested. "That's an interesting name," she commented.
"It's Japanese. I'm of Japanese and Korean descent," I explained to them.
"Jap-pan-knees and Korean?" Armin said. "I've never heard of them before," he said thoughtfully.
"They are both Asian," I replied. They looked wide eyed at me.
"Asian? Like Mikasa?" Jean said.
I nodded. "There are a lot of Asians in the world. A huge chunk of our total population are Asian."
"How big is the human population?" Moblit asked curiously. "Just to compare to our time."
I thought for a moment. "Well I don't know the exact number, but around 7 and a half billion," I say to them.
They all gape at me once again. 'This is very amusing,' I thought, staring at them as they took it in.
"7 and a half BILLION!?"
"Our population is nothing compared to theirs!?"
"Imagine what those numbers would do against the titans!"
"Is everything always about titans Yeager?"
"You wanna go Horse-face!?"
"Bring it Suicidal Bastard!"
"Guys stop!" I say to them before a fight could break out. "You guys need to calm down ok? I do NOT want to pay for broken items. Or hospital fees," I say sternly to them.
Suddenly, they start to look around their surroundings. "This house looks very fancy," Mike remarked. "Looks like what a noble's house would look like," Hange agreed.
"I just have a job that pays me a lot. There's a lot of people in this world that are like me," I said. "Poverty is still a huge problem, but it's slowly getting better. I'm one of the lucky ones."
"What's your job?" Erwin asks me.
I thought for a moment. 'How do I explain it?' "Well… I guess you can call me an entertainer of sorts. It's kinda complicated to explain with you guys since you know pretty much nothing about our world today," I say to them.
We then hear a stomach growling. All eyes were on Sasha, who looked sheepish as she said, "What? I'm hungry," Sasha defended. Connie rolled his eyes. "You're ALWAYS hungry Sasha."
I chuckled a bit at their exchange. "I'll go get some food for you guys. Why don't you guys take off your equipment though. It would make me less stressed." I walked to the kitchen and heated some leftover chicken and mashed potatoes with gravy. I placed it on the table along with some soda and called them over.
As they entered the kitchen they all looked shocked at the meal. That is until everyone turned to Sasha, who was drooling. I pulled some more chairs over to the table and then said to them, "Come on over here and eat. There's plenty for everyone!"
They all sat down, still looking disbelieving at the food. "I-is this real meat?" Jean asks. "Yep! It's chicken. Dig in guys!" I say to them.
Immediately, Sasha grabbed a huge chunk of chicken and a heap of mashed potatoes. After Sasha got hers, everyone else grabbed their own serving. "Chicken is such a rarity back home!" Armin says as he chews.
"Is chicken common here?" Moblit asks me.
I nodded. "Nowadays, most meats are affordable. Other meats are expensive due to the lack of it or how hard it is to obtain," I explained to them. "Chicken's fairly priced though."
"What's this?" Connie picked up the can of soda.
"It's called soda. It's a popular drink here," I said as I opened my can.
Connie and the others did the same and took a hesitant sip.
"Woah! That feels weird!" Eren said.
Krista giggled. "Weird, but I like the feeling!" Krista took another sip and Ymir did the same.
"Soda has carbon dioxide gas in it. That's what makes the soda fizz. Although if you leave it for a while, the gas will eventually leave, making the soda flat." I said, taking another sip. "There's different soda flavors. This brand is Mountain Dew. The flavor is lemon lime."
After we finished eating I started to clean up, with Levi helping me. 'He really is a clean freak,' I thought. "Can you put those dishes in the sink?" I ask Levi.
"Tch. I'll wash them. You probably don't know how to do it properly," Levi said.
"Hey! Who are you to assume that? I'm a rather tidy person thank you very much," I retorted back.
His eyes widened for a second, not expecting me to talk back. 'Probably no one talks back to him. He's pretty scary though. However, I'm not one to back down so easily.'
He only walked away with the dishes with a 'tch' and started to wash them in the sink. After they finished cleaning up, they met up with the others in the living room.
"Ok, it's pretty late so I need to come up with the sleeping arrangements." I say to them. "My house is pretty big so there's plenty of room for everyone. Let's just keep things simple and have seperate rooms for the girls and boys." They all agreed to that, although Mikasa did reluctantly.
"Ok… how about Mikasa, Sasha, and Hange in one and Krista and Ymir in another?" I asked them.
"Works for me, I get to be next to my lovely Krista," Ymir says, hugging Krista who was blushing. The others seemed ok with that.
"And then maybe Levi, Erwin, Moblit and Mike in another and Eren, Jean, and Connie together." I finished.
Eren groaned. "Why should I share a room with Horse-face?"
"Hey! I'm not complaining about sleeping with a certain Suicidal Bastard!"
I groan. "Guys. It's almost one in the morning and I'm cranky. Now deal with it. At least Connie isn't complaining about sleeping with both of you." Connie beamed at that.
Eren and Jean reluctantly complied, but still sending each other glares.
"Ok, now that we've got that done, I'll show you guys your rooms and give you guys essentials," I said.
Being a successful Youtuber gave me a large income, but it also is due to my family. My family is rather wealthy, my father owning multiple businesses and my mother being a well known clothing designer. My house is only a little bit short of being a proper mansion.
As I led them to their rooms, they all looked around. "Holy Sina! This place is huge!" Exclaimed Connie.
"Being an entertainer gives you a lot of money?" Mike asks.
"Like I said, it's kinda hard to explain my job. I'll do it tomorrow. But also my family is wealthy. My dad owns several businesses and my mom is a clothing designer. I'm one of the lucky ones."
After showing them their rooms, I then give them some items. I gave the girls some of my sleeping wear and then decided to give the boys some of my brother's who occasionally stays here. I also gave them bathing materials and showed them how to work the showers.
"My quarters are over here if you need anything else. Don't be afraid to ask." I say to them, pointing to my door."
"We appreciate your kind gesture," Erwin says.
"No problem. Also, I have some plans for you guys tomorrow as well. So sleep well," I say as I turn away and walk to my bedroom.
I then got ready for bed and settled into my bed, going through what just happened. 'I can't believe this just happened. I don't know how to send them back though and I don't think I can. They would probably just have to adjust to life here. How the hell do I explain to them that they are an anime though? You know what? I'm just gonna sleep now.'
And within moments, I fall into slumber.
