One day Gumball, Darwin, and Anais were watching TV, until Nicole and Richard walked in and turned it off. "Hey!" Gumball, Darwin, and Anais yelled.

"We'll turn it back on here in a minute," Nicole told the kids. "Right now, we need to talk."

"Oh boy," Gumball groaned. "What is it that you think we did now?"

"You didn't do anything," Nicole told Gumball. "We're hiring a lady over here, and she's gonna see how you guys are in this house."

"Wait a minute!" Darwin yelled. "You're hiring someone to take care of the house for you?"

"Why?" Anais asked.

"Well," Nicole began. "In case Richard and I have something going on, and if Granny Jojo and Grandpa Louie, or Aunt Abby are too busy to take care of you guys, we hired a nanny to come do it."

"She's fresh out of college too," Richard explained.

"Hmm," Gumball thought. "A young lady who's out of college."

"We'll let her in," Darwin smiled.

"What's her name?" Anais asked.

"Bridget Oakman," Nicole said, glaring at her youngest and only daughter.

"Interesting!" Anais grinned.

"Look," Nicole barked. "We're letting her in for the day! If you guys don't like her, we'll just have Gumball and Darwin take care of you!"

"Really?" Anais asked. "Not again! Not after that one time!"

"Then you better like her!" Gumball said to Anais. Anais then smacked Gumball in the mouth. "Ow!" Gumball whined.

"Anais, be nice to Gumball," Richard told his little girl. "He's your big brother!"

Before Nicole could say anything to the two pink bunnies, the doorbell rang, causing Nicole to say, "That must be her. You guys promise me you'll be on your best behavior."

"We promise," Gumball, Darwin, and Anais told Nicole.

With that, Nicole opened the door. On the other side of the house was a four foot tall ferret. She was wearing black leggings, a purple long sleeved shirt, and a pink scarf to match it off. "Hi," she said. "Is this the Watterson residence?"

"Yes it is," Nicole smiled. "Are you Bridget Oakman?"

"Yes I am," the short ferret smiled.

"Then come on in," Nicole said, escorting Bridget to the inside of the Watterson house. When Bridget was in the house, Nicole was amazed. Richard and the kids were sitting pleasantly on the couch, hoping that the short ferret that was right next to Nicole was Bridget. "Kids, Richard, this is Bridget," Nicole smiled. Bridget waved and smiled happily when Nicole introduced her. "Once again, we will have her for the day so she can see how we run this household."

"Hi Bridget," Gumball smiled.

"Hello!" Bridget grinned at the young feline.

"And once again, Bridgie, my name is Nicole," Nicole smiled at the young ferret. "Would you guys like to introduce yourselves to Miss Bridget?"

Richard stood up and said, "I'm Richard Watterson, and I am the lazy one."

Nicole sighed, "Yep. Have fun dealing with Richard."

Gumball stood up and proudly said, "I'm Gumball Watterson, and I'm the troublemaker!"

Nicole sighed again, "Yep. That's Gumball. You're really gonna have fun yelling at him. He once went with far steps to not give a DVD back to Larry Needlemire."

"Gumball!" Bridget sighed. She knew she was gonna yell at him a lot.

Darwin stood up and said, "I'm Darwin Watterson, and I'm the naïve one!"

"Yep," Nicole giggled. "That's my adoptive son, Darwin."

"Yeah," Anais smiled. "He's an embarrassment in the whole family!"

"Yeah!" Gumball giggled. "He was once running around the school with toilet paper stuck to his shoe."

"Okay," Bridget laughed. "That's too much information."

With that, Anais stood up and proudly said, "And I'm Anais Watterson, the genius of the family!"

"Yep," Nicole grinned at her little girl. "That's Anais! You'll adore her! She's only five years old, and she takes sophomore classes."

"Good for you!" Bridget smiled at the little pink bunny.

"Wow!" Anais smiled. "I think I was wrong about Bridget."

"We think you were too," Darwin agreed.

"Okay," Nicole smiled. "You guys run along now while I interview Bridget."

"Okay," Richard and the kids smiled before walking up the stairs.

In the kids' room, Gumball, Darwin, and Anais were talking. "Oh," Anais said in excitement. "I hope we get Bridget as our new nanny."

"I do too!" Darwin smiled. "Even though she already thinks I'm a huge embarrassment, I think she's pretty hot."

"You think she's hot?" Gumball yelled.

"Okay!" Anais yelled. "That's great to know!"

"Yeah!" Gumball yelled. "And besides, you're with Carrie!"

"I mean…" Darwin thought for a moment. "Hottish."

"Great!" Anais protested. "Darwin has a crush on Bridget!"

"Darwin, whenever you see Bridget from now on, just act like you just like her."

"I will," Darwin agreed.

A few moments later, Nicole called, "Kids, Richard, come down here! I have exciting news!"

With that, the kids and Richard went downstairs. "Did she get the job?" Anais asked with excitement.

There was then an awkward pause until Nicole said, "She did."

"Yay!" the kids cheered.

"Any questions for Bridget before she leaves?" Nicole asked.

"What do you think we should do when an annoying song is playing?" Gumball asked.

"Depends," Bridget smiled. "What song are you talking about?"

"The Daisy the Donkey theme song," Darwin responded.

"Well, I would either get up and leave, or plug your ears," Bridget grinned.

"I think we'll plug our ears," Gumball answered. "Anais won't let us leave while her show is on."

"Any other questions?" Nicole asked. The kids then shook their heads. "Well, Bridget, that settles it. We're so happy we got to work with you today."

"I am too," Bridget smiled. "Your kids are adorable!"

"Why thank you!" Darwin giggled as he blushed.

"Oh my God!" Anais said, before throwing up.

Soon there was an awkward silence, until Bridget broke it by saying, "I should probably go."

When she left, the kids said, "Bye, Bridget!"

Bridget smiled and waved goodbye to the kids, until Darwin said, "I love you!" With that, Bridget slammed the door shut. Nicole and Richard looked at Darwin, shocked by what he just said. "What?" Darwin asked.

"What was that I love you about?" Nicole asked.

"I don't know what you're talking about," Darwin told Nicole.

"You just told Bridget you loved her," Nicole told Darwin.

"Well… I…" Darwin began.

"Oh," Anais blurted. "While you were talking to Bridget just a few minutes ago, Darwin told us he had a crush on her!"

Nicole gasped, "EEW!"

"Good for you, Darwin!" Richard smiled "Give me a high five!"

With that, Darwin high fived Richard, and Nicole, Gumball, and Anais threw up.
